Table 19 - Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette
Average food. Decent service. Burger was overcooked.
If you stick to burgers, fries and beers, then you will be okay - but don't stray into pastas or steaks - beware! Kitchen is not up to anything beyond the very basic burger. Staff were fantastic - desserts, too!
Great spot to meet before Peoria Civic Center events
The steak was delicious, even more impressive that it was essentially a hotel restaurant! There was some nearby events and weddings and the hotel didn’t have rooms reach for guests so it was really busy. The service was a little slow but friendly
The menu is limited but what is offered is very good. Convenient to everything. We had excellent and efficient service.
A lovely and wonderful experience before the symphony. Better than we expected! Just a note however to say the menu posted online is out of date.
excellent food. Parking could be more convenient.
We had the lunch buffet. Buffet looked messy and not fresh. Soups were not labeled and the flatbread pizza was impossible to cut and take one piece. Buffet looked "tired" and not inviting. Could use more desserts. Our reservation was for noon. We arrived close to noon. The receptionist asked us if we had a reservation and did not even check to validate it. I feel sorry for the people that came after us with possible reservations because seating was limited.
Food was delicious. Our waitress Christina was the best.
I had salmon and Brussels and my husband had beef hangers and creamed spinach. Both were great meals. Troublemaker wine was perfect
Long wait. But it was busy. The waitress was great. Food was really good.
We chose Table 19 for it’s convenient location and access to the PCC. Unfortunately, venue management did not have proper number of staff to handle the evenings business. No host/hostess was visible and it took flagging a server down and waiting an additional time to be seated. We were told our server would be ‘right over’ - twelve minutes later after stopping someone-the person who seated us came an apologized - that she was our server “now”. She really did her best. Food was good, but presentation was only fair. Dinner for “4” $225. + tip expected to enjoy it more. The staff was overwhelmed obviously and the fair revue is on the management for not having the staff in place.
Never been here before but I thought we would give it a go since we were attending a musical at the theatre in the Peoria Civic Center. Nice welcome and the waitress was at our table quickly. Asked for time to peruse the wine list, which she accommodated nicely. Ordered an appetizer and asked for more time to review the menu. I had looked at the online menu and noted several differences. The actual menu was better than the online menu.
We had the salmon and scallops. Both were perfectly cooked and very delicious. I really enjoyed the poblano risotto that accompanied the scallops. The service was attentive and not disruptive.
I would go again since I had such a great meal and service.
My scallops were overly salty. The waitress brought my daughter the wrong dinner and was awful. She asked us at least 5 times if we needed a desert menu and each tube we told her we had one. She never came back to refill drinks until meal was over. There was also no kids menu.
Went to the Thanksgiving Buffet in the Ballroom. It did not disappoint. Service was good. Selection of food offered was excellent and everything we had was delicious. They do a great job of keeping the food replenished and the serving areas clean. Definitely recommend.
Not a very large menu; Menu on the website needs to be updated to reflect this.
Excellent all the way, food great, service great, great atmosphere!
Excellent meal. Very fresh, hot and tasty with prompt, attentive service.
Nice breakfast buffet and selection of food. Challenge was that the guy cooking the egg station was also responsible for filling all the items on buffet. He needed help!
My wife had the lambburger with cauliflower rice and I had the duck with carrots. We thought it was great for the price. We appreciate them making our evening special with a slice of cake for my wife's birthday.
Table 19 was a wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and Carrie was the best server. She gave wonderful suggestions from menu items. We were not disappointed with anything. Can’t wait to visit again.
We enjoyed it much
Probably not best place for Sunday breakfast buffet around 12:30 after church.
Plenty of food leftover as probably very few in hotel, and locals don’t go downtown.
The French toast was hard as bricks, and waffles were soft and soggy.
Scrambled eggs had no flavor. Sausage was not to bad.
They made fresh pancakes for one in our party which tasted more like biscuits.
They made fresh omelette for couple in our party which was so...so.
Plenty of good fruit and some muffins that were not too bad.
Staff was very friendly and service was good, but only 12 there counting our party of seven.
Breakfasts were very good. High quality and excellent serving staff.
Food was good. Wait staff was a little overwhelmed. Order appetizers before entry. Table next to us was seated after us, got the same appetizer as we ordered, but theirs arrived 12-15 minutes after ours did, and after asking waitress to check. Then we were 1/2 way through our appetizers and the entries came out. Small table, and was overloaded.
The place was pretty, the menu & bar were limited, the food was okay, and there were problems with the accuracy of the menu related to beverages. The server was great but overtasked. Felt like the restaurant was poorly managed. We made a reservation through Open Table with a special request for a decent table should the signature table be unavailable. We did a followup call to make sure. When we got there, the hostess didn’t seem to know anything about reservation or request and randomly assigned us to a regular table in the middle of traffic, which we refused. We chose a table away from the traffic right next to the one she offered. Eventually, we noticed a couple without reservations was seated in the same table we were offered. Not a great feeling. The experience was mediocre at best — nothing to brag about. This is really a shame because with the PCC Theater so close, this could have been a place we’d go to whenever there’d be an event. We won’t. By the way, the special table we requested was never used.
Our waiter,Alex W., was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the food. He gave great service. My ribeye was very tender and tasty. My husband loved his seared duck. The spring roll appetizer was delicious and the creme brûlée was excellent. Highly recommend Table 19. We will definitely be going back again.
They honored my best friends college graduation. Everyone was pleasant! Thanks so much
Service was the worst place I’ve ever been. It was busy but the waiter seemed bothered by our questions, took 20 minutes to first greet us, took so long for our food to come, we asked them to cancel our order. They did nothing to make up for all their errors/horrible service. I would not go back.
Sat 15 minutes before we got water. Another 15 for drinks. Appetizer came with dinner. Everyone around us had same problem. Some got up and left. Could have been nice, but was a nightmare.
We had a large party of 13 everyone was served correctly and efficiently. The menu selection is small but we were all completely satisfied with our food!
Excellent service! Table 19 should be noticed more and it was a wonderful experience. The brussel sprouts were amazing! Very nicely tucked away in the Pere!
Order requests were not carried out, such as, medium well items. Food was very bland. Waitress apologetic. Small discount given. Waste of money. Will not be returning.
Table 19 is tucked away inside the historic Pere Marquette - and it's certainly worth the visit. Top-notch service, great ambiance, varied menu, and food prepared and presented with excellence. Drinks may be a touch pricey but the overall experience is wonderful.
The staff was very accommodating. The food was superb! Great for special occasions! The salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes were outstanding! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
The food was well prepared and presented well. It would seem they were just short staffed on this particular evening as our server seated us cleared tables and was the only visible server/staff we saw. Overall a good experience, will be back!
This place is very nice but it isn't uptight. Went at around 11 am after a graduation, we were the only ones there so the food arrived very quickly. The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. I'll definitely go back sometime.
We took my family, 7 of us for brunch. It was similar to the continental breakfast you would get at a holiday Inn express. I'm not saying it was bad, just not a "destination" for a nice brunch. Did not try dinner or lunch, but I doubt I'll go back.
Good food, and a very sweet server. Not impressed with the way management handled a situation, and we won't be going back.
Great place for business breakfast or lunch meetings.
