The restaurant boasts a contemporary ambiance mixed in with traditional cuisine. Our worldly trained Chef's bring experience, knowledge and creativity to your dining experience at Tabla. Tabla's menu is full of flavors that can entice any palate. Some popular dishes include : Kurkuri Bhindi (fried okra), Coconut Crab Masala, Tandoori Shrimp, Basil Mahi Mahi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Paneer Pasanda & Roomali Roti.
The ambiance, from the sultry & chic lounge to the serene dining hall, will make this a dining experience you wont forget.
The wonderfully aromatic spices foreshadow amazingly flavor food. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-balanced cocktails served up from the front bar. We stopped in before heading to the Fox for a show and recommend anyone who likes flavorful food to do the same.
Excellent authentic food!
The food is always delicious and consistent in taste and quality. Love this place
Food was good .. Disappointed with the service team
Unfortunately this place was a disappointment. Many pieces of my chicken dish were hard and rubbery, surprising for an Indian restaurant. The food flavors were not on point, too mild and sauces were on the runny side. Basically, the food did not taste freshly prepared - plus Indian food should NOT have barely-noticeable or subtle flavors. I was expecting more from this more modern and hip place. I love Indian food and I've tried it from coast-to-coast. In Atlanta, I would have to say that Cafe Bombay is the best go-to option I've tried, they are very busy so the food is fresh and the chicken is always moist and very flavorful.
The appetizer, a duck samosa was very nice but pricey.
The main course were disappointing. Although both had good spice, the spice was very one dimensional-- hot, but uninteresting.
Celebrating birthday. Was really nice. Food was delicious and was served very soon after ordered.
Please reduce delivery time after order. Provide complementry papad for lunch, too.
Best in Atlanta. Great service with very patient staff to explain to first timers. You could tell by the guests very authentic. Make a reservation.
Great food... spicy if you like that although they have plenty of mild options...service great.. attentive staff... very hard to beat in the neighborhood... always consistently crowded so rev suggested
Dark interior difficult to see. Spicy but excellent flavor to food! Service was ok-not attentive as we would’ve expected
Great food and ambiance. One of my favorite!
The service was lacking. All of the tables surrounding us arrived after and left prior to us even receiving all of our food. We were celebrating a friend's birthday which was only not acknowledged but she was made to watch us eat due to the delay caused by the restaurant. We did not ask for any special dishes, we ordered exactly what was on the menu. Why not bring all of the food out at once? I'm not sure why 2 of 3 dishes were brought to the table and NO follow up on the missing dish until I asked twice. Why not provide the same level of service to all of the tables? The server or manager could have at least acknowledged the birthday after providing poor service and poor experience.
Amazing food !! The waiter made great recommdations and the Tikki Masla is awsome
food was salty and expensive although the ambience was good I couldnt believe I had to pay for food in which we didnt eat
Great food, very well trained, professional staff! Nirav was a great server and is extremely versed on the menu and ingredients! Will definitely be back! Great work, true value!
We went to Tabla before going to a performance at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Both the food and service were great and it was only a short walk to the orchestra hall.
Took my son who had never been, he loved it!
Went for dinner on a weeknight and was surprised by the crowd, but still, service was excellent and noise wasn't too bad. We asked our server to recommend dishes for us, and his suggestions were perfect-- everything was so delicious! The food came out quickly, too. This was our second time at Tabla, and we will be back!
We had the crispy okra and tandoori octopus appetizers. Both were creative and very good. For our entrees, we had chicken briyani (a MUST), tiki kassala and butter naan. It was all excellent. Prices were moderate and appropriate for the quality.
Where to begin. I’ve been to Tabla at least 10 times, and I’m always recommending it. The service every time is impeccable. The last time there were two MVPs. The manager, and Nerav our server.
Nerav was excellent in his attentiveness. The manager, although he gave me a sour wine, helped us when we had trouble with the parking validation. The wine is my own fault because I didn’t speak up. I prefer not to unless it’s something inedible.
The food is always on point, and the flavors are untouchable. I don’t typically like repeating restaurants in Atlanta because there are many to try. But this is always worth repeating.
Tabla has a warm, pleasant atmosphere and good for friends and groups. It is upbeat and a little loud. We had a good meal and enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer and butter chicken the most.
This was my fist lunch at Tabla. The food is great - we had the thali (assortment of items n small bowls) and it is the perfect amount of food. The service is quick and attentive. Great spot!
This place never disappoints! I work in Midtown so eat here often. When my daughter is here from Boston this is always on her request list. On 11/23/18 we were headed to the Atlanta Symphony and had dinner at Tabla before the performance.
We have found our Atlanta Indian restaurant of choice. Hands down, the best! Creative but authentic Indian food.
Excellent food and ambiance! I love it and will be definitely going back!
Excellent Indian food in an upscale atmosphere. Also, some twists and variations on traditional offerings, such as the duck samosas and chicken wings. Excellent chicken biryani and tikka curry.
Great food and servers. We had a little wait time for ordering and getting our check given how busy they were. Otherwise would definitely go back.
Atlanta finally has a worthy Indian restaurant! This is a true culinary gem that would fare well when compared against great Indian restaurants in other cities.
Great food, very authentic. Helpful and attentive staff. A+
Some of the dishes had too much salt. The spinach chat was good.
Excellent service and delicious food! We had such a great time at Tabla. I'd love to go back soon!
My favorite all-time Indian cuisine in Midtown. It’s a busy place so make sure you book it upfront. All classic taste delicious.
The service is excellent. Our server was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu items and how they were prepared. The food is superb. For a starter we ordered the spinach chaat, which quite literally melted in our mouths. The coriander lamb chops were very tender and flavorful. The shrimp biryani is cooked in a naan and is delicious. We will definitely dine here again.
One of the very best Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. My wife and I just returned from London and Tabla ranks with the best of the best in the UK. I love this place! Ask for Kush...he’s a great server with lots of good advice and suggestions.
Food was terrible and spice levels were all over the spectrum. The kitchen could not keep levels consistent from everything our table ordered. Once level 5 was like a 10 while another was like a 1. The server had no idea about gluten free suggestions and even though one person couldn’t even eat the food after it was “made” the 2nd time (and clearly just had been reheated and watered down) they didn’t take it off our receipt. I was going to make this my birthday restaurant but won’t ever be coming here again.
Wow! What a fabulous meal. The cauliflower appetizer is exceptional. Half off bottles of wine on a Sunday is a deal- we had the old vine Zinfandel. The garlic naan and curry halibut was perfect. Lively and packed at 9pm on a Sunday; great vibe and great meal.
