This place is excellent! Food and service were both exceptional
This is the best restaurant in Atlanta for Indian food. The lamb chops are the best in Atlanta. The Korma, Rogan Josh, and Vindaloo are outstanding and presented beautiful. All the servers are great, but ask for Shoi as she is the best. If you like sitting at the Bar, Big Mike will take great care of you too.
We have been twice for dinner and have not been disappointed. Staff is friendly and service is great with suggestions or answering any questions you may have. Great place for a date night, business meeting or anyone looking for some tasty Indian food. I wouldn’t rcommend taking small children due to some areas of dining are rather close in proximity.
Great food and service, but they removed 2 of my favorite fish dishes off the menu!!
Meal was delicious and our server was great— made very helpful (& good) recommendations for our selections.
Sat at the bar and had incredible service. Delicious curries and loved the lamb appetizer! Can’t wait to return.
Great food and staff! Love coming here!
Great service, very good food
Food was too spicy; it would be helpful if they had jalpeno (or equivalent) symbols on the menu to indicate heat.
Heard about this place. Love Indian food. There was a large Indian population in the restaurant as that indicates the food is authentic. Unfortunately, we got sick after eating there. We had the lentils and it did not sit well with either of us. The chicken tandoori was delicious.
Great experience and good food. They were able to accommodate our party of 14 with ease. We will definitely return.
We had an amazing time! The food is incredible, and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Seating was less than favorable. Was too close to other parties and could not enjoy conversation.
Beautiful restaurant and the employees were so nice!! The food was okay. I love to cook so I’m a bit more critical. It certainly wasn’t bad. In terms of value, you’re paying for the experience. The ambiance, the kind-no-matter-what type service, etc.. It was also something different than the norm (steakhouse, Chinese or Thai, Italian...) that we normally get closer to home. There were kids there but no one queued the crying baby (yes I have children...time and place though) so it was overall a great dining experience.
Exceptional dining experience...ambience, thoughtful, attentive service and the food was DELICIOUS! Walked from the restaurant to my car and promptly made another reservation for two days later.
Good service, attentive, professional and friendly.
Good food, we eat Indian food all over the world and this was superb flavours and style.
We will return.
Attentive service, very accommodating . Highly recommended as an authentic Indian spot.
one of the best in Atlanta - a little on the higher price side, but worth it! Great staff, great food, ..... I'll be back (again)
Terrible Indian food! And I did so much research, but apparently not enough...I will admit, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Indian. I have a high standard, as well as my boyfriend. I have had a ton of indian in my life, including home cooked from my best friend's mom that came from Nothern India, and Tabla curry was some of the worse. It had no flavor! On multiple levels. Not only did I ask for "extremely spicy" and the food came back with no heat (a baby could have eaten it and not flinched), but there was no depth to the dishes. When I think Indian, I think full of spice: turmeric, coriander, garam masala...my dish was like glorified cream and chicken. I got the chicken korma and my boyfriend got the lamb Rogan Josh. It was so bland. And expensive. The garlic naan was ok. Just garlic powder made it "garlic". Where is the minced garlic? And it was crunchy...naan should be pillow-y. Very disappointed and would never go back.
Really wonderful authentic Indian cuisine. You must try the okra!! Very knowledgeable friendly staff with an open kitchen so you can watch them make the naan. Great place!!!
We dine at Tabla regularly and always have a great experience. Food is good, service is great and if I can comment on something that would be the bar, it’s fine when u order dinks at the bar but at the tables it hasn’t been all that great (a few times not always) and this last time the drinks were flat.
SUPERB! We had been to a number of Indian restaurants in the past. It was quite a surprise to learn they had been open for 6+ years. Every item we selected was absolutely "delish"! We will be returning frequently! YUMMY!!!
Beautiful, upscale but comfortable space with a relaxed, upbeat vibe. Wonderful, kind, knowledgeable staff - and the food is tremendous! We ordered a range of small plates to share, and each dish was delectable. Good wine list and full bar. Another plus: free off=street parking.
The food was excellent and the service was attentive, but not overbearing.
Thanksgiving lunch at an Indian restaurant? Was fantastic, delicious and a feast.
Always excellent food and service
The staff was very welcoming, warm and energetic. But the most important part was the food. The paneer saag was delicious and the dhal tadakha was succulent, among other orders for sure. I'd definitely keep on going there.
Mike “bartender” was awesome. He had a really positive attitude and I would go back because of him.
Lovely food and service. And the staff very welcoming. Book as it’s gets busy. Loved the home made lemonade.
This is not a great restaurant for people who are not familiar with Indian food. The server was respectful but provided very little guidance. Indian food is rich and spicy. Without adequate guidance it can upset your system...
Highly enjoyable meal. Familiar options, but more importantly a number of unique small plates and entrees that change things up. Will return.
Great Vibes, Good food. Unlike many Indian restaurants where customer service lacks, Tabla is really good at accommodating your schedule and gives you the best customer service
I made reservations for 2 and had a last minute guest, Tabla was able to accommodate all of us. The service is outstanding, along with everything else.
Always a great meal!!
Recently renovated for expansion, Tabla, continues to be a delicious and romantic spot for affordable Indian delicacies. I hope it sticks around for many years to come.
Spicy and tasty
The flavors were good. The portions were small, especially for the entree pricing of $18.00. Cocktails were $12 each, which is to be expected at a restaurant that is attempting to be high end. The $22 charge for a double Basil Hayden bourbon on the rocks is disturbing. Basil Hayden costs $39/750ml bottle when not on sale, so the restaurant pays significantly less, most likely about $33/bottle. A high-end markup of 3x (as opposed to the industry norm of 2.5%) puts the bottle at $100. So a 4oz double should cost no more than $16. I can’t justify going again with such price gouging.
Love coming here for lunch. My go to meal is Lamb Tikka Masala with Garlic naan. The Cauliflower Lassoon (apologies if misspelled) is divine.
The recently completed an indoor makeover. Not quite sure i like how the entrance was redone. But it's not about me, right!? But i do like the expansion to a larger dining area.
Tabla was an Indian restaurant that we wanted to try after going to one in London where Indian food is very popular.
When we arrived many tables all came in at the same time, so our server was overwhelmed for about 5 minutes, but after that everything went smoothly.
We had two appetizers the lamb kebobs, and the fried cauliflower. They were both really good.
For our entrees we read the Lamb Rogen Josh was really good, and lived up to the previous reviews.
We also got The Black Lentil Dal which was great. More creamy than we remember in London,
also the cauliflower and potatoes.
It is a great choice for vegetarians
The Spinach Chaat and the Kulfi are the best!
