Always fantastic. Great food, wine, people and ambiance.
Excellent and authentic Tapas. Extensive Sherry and Spanish wines selection at reasonable prices
We have not been back since it expanded. It is a very comfortable environment, where the hostess and wait staff are very attentive. The drink menu is extensive and they have of the best reasonably priced share. The small plates are nice. Try their paella’s.
ate outdoors on a beautiful evening...so was quiet! Service excellent...quite charming waiter, paced nicely. All tapas and paella were excellent (except razor clam special, which was weird). Drinks also very good...sherry, primo gin and tonic and vermouth all top notch. Reliable and excellent.
The food was great! But there was a very loud hum of white noise in the main dining room that made it hard to hear the people across the table from us. As a result, everyone in the place had to talk loud, which made it even worse. The service was pretty good. However, our waitress had a way of barging in at the worst possible times, e.g., at the end of a story, during the punchline of a joke, etc. I always observed that the best waiters have a way of timing it for when there is a lull in the conversation or at least they step up to the table, but wait to speak until the guests look up and indicate that it's okay.
Again, the food was terrific and made it still worthy of recommending.
The restraint had not revived their shipment so many dishes we wanted were unavailable. Disappointing compared to one of our other visits
We were able to sit outside on the perfect evening. We ordered “tapas” style as their menu suggests and it was just so fun and filling. We got to try so many menu items and pair them with awesome wine, cocktails, and sherry. We even had this feisty bottle of a chilled red wine per the recommendation of our attentive and friendly server. We had so much fun sitting outside- we were even able to bring our dog!
The food was decadent, garlicky, savory, and sweet. It hit every note!
Although the wine list is only Spanish wines, we were able to find a few bottles that we loved and help introduce us to Spanish wines!
It was the 3rd trip back and it was wonderful !
Birthday. Family dinner. Delicious and delightful ambiance. We always make it our number one stop.
Not same restaurant anymore... food quality is different , whole fish disappeared along other popular dishes and prices went up significantly
They even charge u to bring oil with bread
Very authentic with impressive wine list
The wine, appetizers and ambiance were fabulous. We asked owner to order the appetizers and frogs legs were outstanding.
The grass fed steak came out completely raw but, when put back on the grill it didn’t take the tenders and overall wasn’t a great cut. Roasted chicken was superb as was squid ink risotto. The other entree we ordered was a grilled swordfish which came out raw. I was rather shocked. We sent it back but, it remained on our check.
I wanted to love my experience but, clearly there was an amateur in the kitchen prepping our grilled entrees. I would go back to try again because some things We ordered were incredible.
Our experience wasn't as I'd hoped. Our server was infrequent. The food was unimpressive; the patatas bravas tasted like it was made with Frank's Red Hot; the risotto with shrimp and monk fish had no flavor (so we added some patatas sauce- it helped a little). Lastly, the white sangria was, in fact, not a sangria. It was a bar drink, with no wine in it at all. A heads up grin the waiter would have been appreciated. We won't be going back.
They need to change the Sangria!!
Food a little too spicy
Why only. 2 beer choices and 20,000 sherry choices
No buzz compared to Barcelona right down the sy
Great food and great service
Was not as good as in the past. the menu seems a bit limited now. the fish we had
(swordfish) with grilled vegetables was okay but not stellar
The food was delicious, specially the frog legs and the Plato Combinado. The wine was picked by the owner based in our description of what we wanted and it was perfect. We sat in the patio, which was amazing, the street was not too noise, the plants and the trees around it made it even better. The owner came to our table numerous times to check up on us, who was very pleasant. The staff, from the back to the front of the house were extremely friendly. We were a group of four and we can't wait to come back and bring some other coworkers with us. Loved it.
Excellent food options with a twist. Staff was Amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable with wine and food.
Great tapas, wine list and atmosphere. Gave 4 stars because the cocktails we tried weren’t great.
Food delicious, service fast, would come back again and again and again!
Great tapas in neighborhood setting. Delicious cocktails. Service was good.
Really lovely food, very authentic Spanish tapas. We sat outside on the patio and had a wonderful experience! We had wonderful service.
This is one of our favorite - no, it is our favorite - restaurant!!
The mushrooms with quail egg was absolutely phenomenal. Soy, dairy and meat free!
High quality tapas pleasantly presented in a relaxing atmosphere. The tapas are larger than one might expect at a restaurant in Madrid, but every bit as tasty. Great sherries, wonderful desserts. We all 9 of us loved it.
Exceptional sherry list and the gentlemen that took care of us was so knowledgeable it was inspiring. The food was reasonably priced and soooooo delicious. Looking forward to my next experience there!
Great food. Great waitstaff. Definite place for a return visit.
Delicious and interesting offerings. Lovely service and most enjoyable!
We are from out of town and keep coming back year after year. Wonderful food experience
The wine was great, the service was slow, the food was just ok, except for the tortilla, that was really really good. It’s not a great value so for that price you can find much better Spanish food in Boston
The paella with shrimp and mussels was really tasty! So were the artichokes. The black paella with squid was not as interesting as we had hoped, a bit bland and one-dimensional. Need to try more tapas next time.
This is our go to in Boston.we love it! This visit was fantastic - great wine! The food is just so good and tapas with a fun group is the best. Our waiter Jack was so much fun and so attentive and engaged. Really can't say enough..other than, we'll definitely be back!
Our waiter was absolutely wonderful! I have a lot of food restrictions and he was very accommodating. However: the oyster special is only 5-7pm at the bar!
Authentic, delicious food, lovely staff. Neighborhood find.
Expensive food terrible service.
Great food, great wine, and great service! The waiter was so knowledgeable and made an amazing wine recommendation based on our tastes and our meal.
Very expensive for a standard Spanish food. The paella was not good
Excellent foo,d and service, pleasant ambiance, but a bit noisy and quite crowded. Food is not cheap (we paid appx. $40/person), but very, very good. Will definitely go again.
