T Miller's Sports Bar & Grill
Needed a quick lunch and orders the buffet. Nothing special. Soup. salad and sandwiches. It would have been nice if they had some protein for the salad. It was fast and easy.
Great food & great service. Management and servers were friendly and professional.
Great apps and dinner! Go for the food, not the service!
The food is good. The service is good but slow if they are busy. It is very noisy and if you have hearing issues you will want to eat elsewhere.
The menu has changed and as a long term customer it was shocking to see items deleted. Kelsey was great and kept drinks and request coming without having to ask. However the variety of food or lack there of was disappointing because I just there in December.
It was very busy so the wait to place our order was very long. Perhaps they were understaffed? Aside from that, the bigger issue was sending my drink back because there was a dead fly in it. Twice. Yes, I had to send it back twice due to dead flies in my drink. I was very quiet & polite about it the first time, and then the second time I requested that the drink be removed from my tab. Not only did they charge me the full price once, but charged my card twice. Now I have to deal with disputing the charges and getting a refund for the double charge (exceeded $350 total so it was not a small/acceptable charge for a current furloughed federal employee). Overall just a bad experience.
My party of 6 was seated away from TV (we were there for the NFL playoffs) and after 15 minutes of waiting, we were never waited on. Therefore, we decided to leave and go elsewhere.
Excellent wings! Good service. Definite disconnect between hostess seating/available tables and wait time. Many open tables but not getting people seated.
Overall good. Expected more people. Was able to pick whatever table I wanted.
It was all around ok. Limited menu. Limited beer selection. Typical hotel lobby bar. Service was prompt and food arrived quickly. They had overpriced autographed sports memorabilia as décor but the evening news was on the flat screen TV's. Underwhelming experience but at least no one got sick from the food.
T-Miller's is located in the downtown Marriott and is the easiest place to get a meal. Though the menu is somewhat limited, there is enough choices to have a few meals there without repeating one's order. Though I have experienced less than perfect service in the past, this visit the people were "on;" the servers and the on floor managers who served as backup.
Food was mediocre. Service extremely slow. Dad to be the hotel restaurant c'mon Marriott pay attention to your restaurant sometimes people are tired and would like a convenient supper
Ordered a pulled pork sandwich with no jalapeno pepper cole slaw. Food came my order had jalapeno sauce on it. Lady next to me ordered dinner without onions-- food came with onions. She sent hers back. Kids menu was better than adults somewhat-- too many fried or greasy options for them... daughter had cheese quesadillas, zucchini squash, and red peppers. Won't return. Was there for a dance performance.
About what we expected from a hotel sports bar. Good was good not exceptional. Price $ about what you'd expect.
Nice food n drinks before attending event. Location is ideal with plenty of parking nearby.
Sadly, the dinner, other than the chicken wings, was just horrible.
A co-worker and I went there to watch the UVA game.. A conference was at the Richmond Convention Center and a lot of those people were there... We saw our waitress once to take our order and runners brought our food.. Never received any follow up for drink refills or anything else.. I had to ask for a refill from some random hostess after sitting there without a drink for over 15 minutes... Needless to say the service and the food was sub par.
Great meal, great service. Table was ready right on time!!
Didnt get seated at the type of table indicated. Was given the wrong beer. Everyones food came at different times. Other then that, it was fine.
We requested a reservation specifically for the Clemson vs Louisville game. We had to ask for the sound to be turned on, which was no big deal. The lady working behind the bar then proceeded to turn the sound OFF once half time had completely ended and the game was back on. After turning the music back on the made a dancing gesture towards our table. It was very obvious it was directed towards us because we were the only table in that direction with someone at it. We quickly asked for our check and went to another bar. We will not go back to T-Millers.
Service was awful...arrived at 11am...did not get meal until 12:20...food was fair...will not be back...
Waiter was good, but waiting over a half hour after we put in our order was crazy especially since we got there with reservations before 5 pm and well before it got crazy busy. Waiter said that the kitchen was backed up.
Worst dining experience I've had. As a prior server I always tip, even when it wasn't great service. I couldn't leave a tip for a server who refused to look at us,bring us food or drinks and completely ignored us.
Our waitor was not very attentive, but the staff were friendly. The menu was limited, but there was a nice variety. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. I definitely don't think the food was worth the price, but it's downtown Richmond so you expect things to be slightly more expensive. I would eat there again if I was staying at the Marriott, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there.
Easy walking distance from Richmond CenterStage (old Carpenter Center). Located in the Marriott. Across the street from the Convention Center. My review may not be all that fair. We hit them at a weird time. 4:00 pm in the middle of a shift change. Servers lost us in transition so we waited a long time to order but food was good and the price was fair. Kids ate well so that says a lot. Would be a great place to watch a game. Very modern decor. Restrooms are heck and gone from the restaurant though. I'd give them another try at a normal dining hour.
Our food came out really fast and our waitress was really nice!
This was not the first time I've had luncheon at T-Miller's but this time the experience was not the best. There must have been a mishap in the kitchen and the food was late. Usually not a problem but we had a tight schedule. I will return but have to say I was disappointed. Overall the food is very good (only have had breakfast and lunch at T-Miller's) and service staff helpful and pleasant - just not this one time.
When we arrived we were told they were not taking reservations. Which was odd because we had made our reservations with no problems via Open Table. They then wanted to seat our party at separate tables. We told that was not an appropriate solution. They eventually put 2 tables together and we were seated. We then proceeded to wait almost an hour for our food. We had a party of 6 and 3 of them got the buffet.
Food was cold and service was poor. I had to wait quite awhile before anyone came to the table despite having a reservation. The waitstaff did not seem to have any experience. The hotel was great but I would not eat here .
This was my first visit to T Millers. I was very pleased from the start. The Greeters were friendly and efficient. The waiter was engaging and informative. The menu was large and varied. The food was delicious. The prices were reasonable. And, here's a key factor for me, we could actually carry on a conversation at the table. This was a great Sports Restaurant experience. I'll definitely go back
I made a reservation for 6:45 and arrived promptly at 6:40. We were seated and about 5 minutes later our server comes over to take our drink order. Upon his return we place our food order based on items we had seen on the menu online from Open Table. Well the server tells us that menu is old and they no longer offer the item. My friend asked if they could make it anyway since it is on the menu and the only reason we decided to come to this restaurant. He asked the cook who agreed but said he can only offer part of the entree and charge extra for the rest. After speaking with the manager, she agreed to let us order based on the menu online. Well anyway almost 1 hour later and another request to speak with the manager...our food finally came.
My experience at T-Millers was a mixed bag. I had a couple of things that were very good (appetizers), then at the buffet which, apart from the soup, left a great deal to be desired. The food wasn't bad; just nothing to write home about.
Food is a higher quality then you usually find at a hotel and prices are consistent with other neighborhood restaurants, not over-priced. Ate here several times during recent conference and had nice meals each time. Service was good given number of people being served. All in all, very pleased and would return next time in Richmond.
T-Millers was in our hotel. It was close and had a nice menu. The staff was very accommodating. I had a burger and salad, both were very nice. My husband had the ribs, he is still talking about how good they were. We would go back.
It's a good spot to catch a game but I wouldn't go for the food.
FOOD WAS GOOD- ALTHOUGH IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET TO THE TABLE.SERVICE WAS SLOW AND DRINK REFILLS ALMOST NONEXISTANT.
Best late night bar in the downtown area. Service is a bit slow as it gets closer to time for the bar to close so you loose the opportunity to add to your order because it took so long for the waitress to check up on you. A small tweak would fix this and make this place incredible
Crab cake sandwich is so good!!
