T-Fusion Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
It was a nice evening out but as a "destination evening" (i.e. we do not live locally and chose to drive here) I feel we could have done better elsewhere. Some of the food was very good and some just mediocre. I feel that the first 5 minutes of a dining experience are crucial. We had reserved a table for 6 and were given a table for 5, being reassured that they could easily add our 6th person when she arrived. We opted to ask for a larger table so our latecomer would not feel squeezed in or like an afterthought. Our waiter, although he turned out to be helpful enough and warmed up a bit over the course of the night, did not crack a smile as we were seated (despite our efforts), did not introduce himself, and the first words out of his mouth were a lengthy list of menu items that were not available for the evening. Off to a bad start. Our next interaction was with a silent unsmiling busboy, whom we asked to please put something under the table leg to stop it from shaking. He did so quickly and successfully, but again with not a word, glance or smile. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
2 of the salads were unimpressive and just not tasty. Most of the food, including the cocktails, was quite good. But I maintain that for a tab totaling well over $70 pp, the service should be more professional, the bathroom should be cleaner, and the fountain soda should have bubbles. Not complicated....
T-Fusions varied cuisine is always prepared and presented nicely. A meal for 2 with appetizer, salad, steak dinners and 1 dessert, w/o drinks, will easily run $200 plus tax & tips. This would be an excellent value provided that, in addition to the ambiance, good food and fine service, a personal touch could be added. The great restaurants welcome their patrons upon entering and also wish them well when they leave. This would greatly enhance the "fine dining" experience at T-Fusion and is far nicer than walking the length of the restaurant and out the door with not even a nod from anyone.
Food was very good. Unfortunately, the wait time for our main courses was horrendous - 75 minutes. However, the manager was apologetic and addressed the matter by reducing the final bill very generously, so that was decent of him.
Best Kosher Steakhouse period. A unique, seasonal menu offers ever changing dining options and flavors you won't find anywhere else while continuously offering favorite customer dishes. There truly is something for everybody. Our favorite restaurant by far!
T Fusion Steakhouse is a wonderful place to enjoy a superb dinner in elegant environment in Brooklyn without feeling a need to travel to Manhattan. The food is tasty, well prepared and presented, by a friendly staff who are very happy to assist the diner with his choices to produce the maximum in an enjoyable experience.
The menu is varied from fish to duck to chicken options for entrees, and there is deliberately a multitude of steak varieties. The food is tasty, the portions are quite sufficient, and the service is tops. The house Sangria is quite good and can enhance your meal.
chef put together a new menu and its awesome its different and interesting and that what me and my wife want to see. the staff is amazing its good to see people know you by first name base and make you feel comfortable while you are there.
thank you guys see you very soon again
When goes out socially, they want a place with positively esthetic décor, friendly staff, outstanding food and not standard fare. This restaurant, a little out of the way in Brooklyn, is well worth any trip. The building and esthetics rival any Manhattan restaurant, the menu has great variety at all price levels, and the results whether a tropical salad with chicken, duck, or a steak are made and presented to mouth-watering perfection. The tiamisu and other desert alternatives are also all unique and worth trying. On top of all that, the staff is helpful, available, will give useful suggestions to enhance your experience - are very personable. A wonderful time is guaranteed
The food was delicious - service was slow - there were 3 large groups there and we werent told about it when we made our reservation.
I would come back again - hopefully when there are not so many parties going on at the same time
Wine choices were fantastic - Josh was awesome, Steak was perfect - Sea Bass came out to the table raw and the risoto was runny, but the chef recooked them both and it was delicious.
Waiters were great, but service was slow because of the parties
Compared to the other kosher options for a meat dinner in Brooklyn, you're getting the most for your money here. We've never had a bad experience, the food is consistently delicious, and they have a decent wine list for accompaniment. It's my staple spot when I want a nicer meal but don't want to drive all the way to the city to have it.
Food was prepared really well. Wish you hadn't run out of hangar steak, really wanted to try it. Waiter was polite but didnt pay enough attention to the table ( had to get up to pay the bill and was never asked if I wanted anything wrapped to go). Most stressful was the wait for the food. Salad and appetizer took more than 30 min to come out.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. They have superb comfortable chairs and lots of comfortably spaced tables so all parties have their own personal intimate space. We loved everything about this restaurant aside from our server who had a bad attitude and looked annoyed that he had to serve us even though we didn't ask for anything more than normal.
I would definitely done here again as the food was great and the atmosphere relaxing.
I would not bring children for dinner here though. It's more adult friendly.
