We went here for our son's 30th birthday . One of the guests was my 97-year-old dad. The quiet background music was perfect. Not being rushed was perfect. Our server was so nice. We never once waited too long, or felt hovered over. The setting it very pretty, too. And yes, the food was delicious.
Everything was fantastic - the only thing that was a bit off was our appetizer and salad came at the same time.
Everything was amazing. The food, ambience, service was just perfect!
Great food, great service, beautiful facility!
Wonderful evening to be outside in this lovely setting - food was good but not outstanding for prices, service was good, I heard this was a #1 rated restaurant and has a new chef but a bit of a disappointment -maybe my expectations were too high from what I had heard about T Cooks -
Great dinner at T Cook's. There were two couples in our party with one couple ordering steak (they said it was the best they'd ever had) and the other couple ordering fish (delicious). A little pricy, but it is an upscale restaurant in an upscale area. We would do it again.
People kept coming within inches of our table with tables for an event. Very disruptive
Had a cocktail before dinner near the bar. Had to walk up to the bar and ask for a drink. Three people behind the bar....no one seemed to want to come to us. For a second drink had to ask for service ( Not the way I remember ).
After moving to dinner, everything was GREAT ( Food and Service ).
A truly special place to go for brunch. Beautiful but not too stuffy.
If you are looking for an elegant brunch with amazing food in a beautiful location, this is definitely the place. By far the best brunch I've ever had. You definitely want to arrive hungry.
The food and service was great. The only negative aspect of the experience was that OpenTable booked us in a 9:30 timeslot and the buffet doesn't seat the patrons until 10:30. Other than that everything was great.
Very beautiful with nice ambiance but food was mediocre and portions were small. Branzino was bland and quantity of food was insufficient for a petite eater! Dessert menu was too unusual for our taste and majority of dishes seemed to have too many twists in ingredients. Service was very good but that won’t be sufficient for a return visit.
food was mediocre and expensive, the salad was plain the dressing tasteless, the cake as dry, no read was served, it was very disappointing
Our food was excellent. We sat on the patio - which is so beautiful! Love to sit on patio when we dine there. Our waiter was a bit of a dud but we had great food and were with wonderful friends. Service was good except for our waiter - he didn't have much personality. It is quite expensive so we only go for special occasions.
Excellent choice for drinks and sax music at great bar area as well as terrific dining experience. Perfect for special occasions as well.
A celebration of friends and our entire lunch was outstanding. The wait staff was very attentive without being overpowering. They kept an eye on us without demanding our attention. Our lunches (chicken melt minus the bread) and a hamburger were all enjoyed with all of us eating more than we should have. For me the chicken breast was tender and still very moist. We also enjoyed the hummus; presented very artfully and was very tasty. Service was impeccable and we appreciated Dan's even tone throughout our teasing him; he was a fantastic waiter. Our only negative would be that the flys were terrible out on the patio; it would be nice if they would find a way to divert those nasty flys in some manner so they did not take away from the ambiance that is so wonderful.
Great food and full bar. Service excellent. A bit pricy but great for special night out.
Food was very mediocre. Not interested in going back for brunch
We loved it and would love to go again. The atmosphere was beautiful.
Everything was fabulous! vice was top notch, food was delicious, atmosphere was awesome!
Location, ambiance, and amazing food. This is my favorite brunch spot in AZ!
The ambiance is great and the food is just ok.
I had a large group with me for dinner and we sat at a wonderful table on the patio. As usual, the service and the food was impeccable! I will recommend T. Cooks to anyone who wants a great experience.
Ambience was great - the outdoor patio is a fantastic setting for dinner. Unfortunately, once seated things didn’t go well... Service was really bad (just an off night I think but everything went wrong), food was ok but price/value was disappointing. Dishes either didn’t come out, came out incorrectly, or were just not good. Management was very apologetic but overall the experience was not what I’d expect given how highly others seem to rate the restaurant.
Beautiful resort! Restaurant ambience was lovely. Server was pleasant but didn’t follow through. My husband ordered his stake rare and it came med well. Took some time to locate waiter. I was finished with my salmon by the time he got his steak again. The waiter never came by to see if steak was correct the second time, I can’t have cream and the salmon sides had cream. Waiter checked with chef said no problem as he would make rice with no cream. I didn’t get it with my salmon. When waiter took the steak I told him that I didn’t get my side with the salmon. It finally came after I finished my dinner. Service was not up to par for such a nice restaurant. My husband said he would never go back.
Food was excellent but service was lacking. Some dishes forgotten with the order . Also wedding was happening so focus seemed to be on the event and not dinner guests.
Went for a cocktail half hour befor our dinner reservation - took 15min for a server to take our drink order (only after we searched for someone to attend to us). We had a request for outdoor seating for dinner - they tried to sit us in the south outdoor area right next to a large outdoor wedding. We asked for a different table and luckily got seated in the north courtyard.
Everything was the best! Food, environment, service!
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend T Cook's especially if you have out of town company and want to take them to a unique Arizona restaurant. They also have terrific cocktails and it's a great place to take photos.
Thoroughly enjoyed a special night out with friends. The food was amazing, my sea bass was delicious!
Great view, beautiful property. Food is also nice with a hint of medetiranian
Lunch on the patio was wonderful. Old historic ambiance and terrific food.
T Cooks just may be our very favorite restaurant in the Phoenix area for outdoor dining. The front patio is romantic and beautiful. The food is wonderful, and our favorite waiter Jeff always does a stellar job of making our evening feel incredibly special. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and the wine list is extensive. Highly recommended!
Classic upscale dining, excellent craft cocktails, full wine list, large selection of wines by the glass.
Broad list of choices for apps, entrees.
High quality food, masterful preparation, superior service. Pricing a bit over the top, most entrees over $30, easy to spend $150 per person with drinks, apps, entree, dessert. Definitely a special occasion spot!
Outstanding all the way around. Is by far and away one of my favorite venues
Room service standard food at top end restaurant prices served by diner style waiters to chavvy conservative clients.
Our waiter was fantastic. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he served the Lytle party of 4 at 6:45 pm on Wed April 3.
The server was terrible They meal was over cooked. My salmon and an paste in it that was dried up and the Brussels were soaked in a sauce. The waiter got me gluten free bread after asking 4 times and then it was toast that had been over toasted. It was not a good experience. I have had lunch there many times and it was fabulous but I will not recommended for dinner. Which is a shame because the place is romantic.
Scallops were gritty (not properly cleaned). I told the waiter but never received an explanation or apology. Also, the waiter never refilled our iced tea.
The salmon entree was quite tasty, although it was served skin side up.
Price was fair.
