Ernesto our server was amazing, presentaion was good but unfortunately our appetizer and entrees were way over cooked and the prices were extreme.
My husband and I were visiting Scottsdale for vacation and were recommended by an owner of one of the art galleries in OldTown. We had a wonderful experience. The food was divine and Sasha our waiter made the evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect. We will go there again when visiting Scottsdale.
We mostly had the appetizers and they were very good. Good margarita and they serve veuve clicot champagne by the glass.
The ambience is absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent.
as usual, everything was perfect. thanks for a lovely evening
Excellent food & service, just pricey
Love this place, always great food and seevice
We made a reservation for an outdoor table. When we arrived we were told a reservation is “only a request” and outdoor tables were full and would not be available for a long time. The hostess was not even apologetic about not honoring the reservation. (And there was no mention of the possibility of not being able to meet the reservation of an outdoor table when I confirmed my reservation the day prior.)
All of the other waitstaff were lovely and the food was excellent.
Just wonderful as always. Try the pork Milanese!
This nostalgic property is surrounded by meticulously maintained grounds that offer meandering paths for a lovely walk around the resort before or after dinner. The whole place is a lovely oasis in the desert. We dined early and the dining room was not very full; I'm guessing due to Covid; however, the staff was very accommodating with our seating change and time...we got there early. The food and drinks were scrumptious and our waiter exchanged pleasantries throughout. We felt welcome and special and thoroughly enjoyed our outing.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND REALLY GREAT SERVICE.IT IS ALWAYS ENJOYABLE!
Very slow service and two of three dishes raw...
Striped bass was outstanding and the 10 oz tenderloin was amazing
We had dinner with my wife and daughter during restaurant week. Ambiance was great and service exceptional. We were a little disappointed in restaurant week menu under entree category. Wish some other options were available such as small steak or a fish dish. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.
Service was excellent as was the food. We ordered the Restaurant week selection and we were very pleased with the quality and the value.
Really nice brunch spot, was very quiet, self-parking was convenient.
Beautiful location, excellent service! Delightful breakfast.
The place is very nice. Great service. Live music excellent.
Food was not as I expected, not really good.
Service was great and the food, perfect!
It was our anniversary and
T. Cook's is a shadow of it's past glory. We will not be coming back.
Beautiful venue (we ate outside in Atrium) with good social distancing, Very attentive service and excellent entree choices (se we will be back!)
Went there for our anniversary dinner. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding. And the ambience was perfect. We would absolutely dine there again.
We went during Arizona Restaurant Week, so the menu was a special 3 course sampling. The service was friendly and attentive. I somehow expected the menu to be a bit staid, but it was very creative, current and everyones meal was delicious. We ate out on the patio which is a very pleasant place to be on a September evening.
We arranged to visit T. Cook's during Restaurant Week, and we're glad we did. First class, not cheap (we had a couple of add-ons), but well worth it. Especially the service: friendly, attentive, thoughtful. I just wish I could remember the name of our wait-person: she deserves high praise. Even though the restaurant was an hour's drive from our home in Surprise, we will be back.
The Restaurant week menu was excellent. The deconstructed BLT Salad was outstanding. Well done!
A Beautiful setting !! Great waffles and a safe patio
We had a delightful meal during restaurant week. Great short ribs and chicken and yummy torte for dessert. Our server Alicia did a great job. First time there but we will definitely Go back.
The menu was amazing, but the food for restaurant week was something special. The short ribs just melted in your mouth.
Throughout the past 25 years my wife and I have celebrated many life events at T. Cook's and had never been disappointed. Until now.
My wife and I booked a room at the Royal Palms Resort for our 25th anniversary, including dinner at T. Cook's. We decided to have two close friends join us for dinner. We were excited to introduce Julie and Mike to one of our special places. Now, I recognize that lots has changed due to COVID-19, but our experience last night was truly disappointing.
Cocktails were ordered 10 minutes after we were seated, but we spent 20 minutes waiting for them to come out.
Drinks in hand, we ordered our formerly favorite Lobster Bisque. It was NOTHING like it had been in the past. The soup was fishy, has no lobster meat in it, and tasted less like bisque and more like dead fish. Additionally, we ordered the Grilled Octopus appetizer.
Meanwhile our server asked if we wanted to order wine with dinner, we did. She said she'd be back to take our wine order.
Dinner arrived at our table, but our server was nowhere to be found, neither was our octopus appetizer. They forgot it. The portions were petit at best. There was nothing remarkable about any of our meal, except for the fact that there were enough servers for the size of the dinner crowd, but ours was nowhere to be found.
We started eating dinner. Our server showed up and we finally got to order our wine. It arrived halfway through our meal. We would have ordered a second bottle, but it came so late, we still had half of a bottle left when we finished.
A little later came our dessert order, 1 creme brûlée's, a 2 chocolate cakes. They delivered 2 creme brûlée's and 1 chocolate cake. So they went back and grabbed another chocolate cake. The creme brûlée was terrible. The top was caramelized perfectly, but the rest of the desert was awful, the texture was firm like tofu, not creamy like a custard. The chocolate cake was sandy, almost dry and gritty.

lovely ambiance, classic timeless feel. a must-try restaurant in Scottsdale!
Environment, ambience, customer service, and food was amazing. Only complaint it took an hour to get our food after the appetizers. Will definitely go back.
As always great food, great wine and terrific ambiance
Great spot for romantic evening or corporate events. The food and drink offerings are outstanding and the property has multiple private indoor and outdoor spots for small gatherings.
The restaurant has lost some of it's unique charm. It was not the exquisite experience we have enjoyed in the past.
The food is more about the presentation than the actual taste. My wife ordered salmon and it was literally the most bland piece of fish I've ever tasted. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice though, the wait staff was friendly prompt and courteous, and the resort grounds are beautiful.....the taste of the food is the problem (especially when you consider the cost).
Treated my daughter, from LA, to an enjoyable evening. We absolutely loved it!
Nice overall. One waiter was a little off and loud, he seemed to want to keep me talking and I was more focused on my date.
Food was delicious & our server was awesome. Thank you
