Amazing service! Food was good. We celebrated our anniversary and they laid rose petals on the table. Extra special touch. Nice date night. Had the bucatini and pork chop for restaurant week.
Shrimp Appetizer was undercooked, and Pasta had NO flavor. Nicely presented tho~~
Great portions, great recommendations, staff was INCREDIBLE and the food was even better. So beautiful!
I took my husband to T. Cook’s to celebrate his birthday. We had a fantastic evening! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was stellar. I highly recommend this restaurant and you must try the Citrus Olive Oil Cake!
Our server, Ernesto, was vigilant and pleasant. The food was interesting for Restaurant Week - good value. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
We were there for restaurant week and did pre-fixe menu. The choices were varied and good
We were there for a business dinner. The meal was good but we have been there many times over the years and it was not as special as past visits.
Went as couple and ordered from AZ Restaurant Week menu. The food (appetizer, main, and dessert) was good, competently prepared, but not remarkable in any way. The service was OK but not particularly attentive. We had to request coffee from the table busser. The mandatory 20% service charge added to the bill was an unwelcome surprise. In sum, it did not seem like a good value for restaurant week.
The quality of food & drinks are great! I don't necessarily like the restaurant noise level to be overwhelming & T. Cook's ambience was perfect. Our server was lovely & had a great sense of humor which also made our dinner even more enjoyable!
Like everywhere else, the place appears to be understaffed. My entree arrived lukewarm. The food was good, but not fabulous. A 20% service charge is added to the bill, which is fine. However, the restaurant leaves a line for the tip in the credit slip without indicating that it's for additional tip.
Took advantage of restaurant week to try T. Cooks and we are now forever fans. The food was excellent as was the service (Jeff was wonderful!). The only unfortunate part of the experience was the table next to us whose diners apparently felt they owned the place. No fault of the restaurant’s, just unfortunate that they were given the table next to us. Regardless, we will definitely be returning!
It was Arizona Restaurant week, so there was a special tasting menu. Without going into details, everything was excellent, including the service.
Foods and Service are both amazing! Wine pairing was a good value. I would return.
Lovely setting, great service, sole was very dry and not much flavor.
My husbands birthday
Delicious food. Love the southwest ambiance. Our waitperson was excellent. Highly recommend!
Perfect meal and atmosphere!
We flew in from Hawaii and was late for our reservation. They seated us right before closing and we had a superb time. Great service and food. We appreciated it.
From the lit palm trees through the beautiful grounds and into a comfortable and spacious dining room this was a great American dining experience. Extensive wine list and something for everyone on the menu. Highly recommended
T Cooks is our go to for important events in our family. Service is impeccable, staff friendly and laid back. Salads and entrees are visual art and delicious.
We always feel welcome even though we are not by any means celebrities.
Looking forward to many delicious meals.
We had our 41st anniversary dinner here during a one night layover on the way to Hawaii. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We started with an octopus appetizer that was yummy and for entrees we both had the 10oz filet with truffle mash that were both fabulous. We both had a glass of red wine with our meal recommended by our server that was a perfect pairing. Overall food and service were fantastic! Although T. Cook’s is a little pricey, from our perspective it was well worth it and we hope to get back soon.
We had a great time and the food was fantastic. The octopus and the mussels were great appetizers. The lamb was also delicious. They have a great wine selection for anyone’s taste or price point.
We have been here many times and are never disappointed.
Such a beautiful location!! We have been here before and this time it was just okay, Not horrible. The Cesar salads had the Romain stalks still attached which gave it a very earthy taste. The chicken and the pork in the Paella I ordered were VERY over cooked little cubes of meat. The presentation however was fabulous. I shouldn’t have strayed from what I typically order, which is the short ribs. My husband ordered the short ribs this time, he’s had the steak before but loved my short ribs from last time. I know what I will stick with next time. Great place for date night!
Food was very good - disappointed the "orange" dessert was no longer on the menu. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere lovely
For years T Cooks was our go to for a romantic night out. Unfortunately after a few disappointing meals and marginal service we didn't go for a year or two, until we found out the original Chef was back. We're glad we did. Food was excellent, service spot on, atmosphere still wonderful. We're glad it's back since it's a place you should visit!
Great evening. Food was delicious.
Did not stay the resort, but we were treated as if we had. We celebrated our anniversary and the staff could not have been kinder. Flowers on the table, complementary dessert sampler, well wishes from everyone we spoke to. The service from Ernesto was excellent. The drinks were well poured and fairly priced. The food was eclectic and delicious. Balanced meal overall. The restaurant and surrounding resort were stunning and offered a unique earthy feel but with the class you’d expect from a top restaurant. Cozy and comfortable. Loved it. Would absolutely go again.
Absolutely amazing! First class all the way.
My 40th birthday brunch today was pretty pathetic. People go to a place like T Cooks for the ambience, experience and service. We got there are 11:45 ...and the service was so damn slow for drinks and food..we didn't eat until 12:45pm...that's an hour after we have been seated for eggs!! The avocado toast was nothing special. Breakfast burrito my friends enjoyed. If you can not staff the place adequately for the experience people come out for, just close shop.
We used to go to this restaurant for a nice lunch every month or so, but hadn’t been for a while due to Covid. The menu has completely changed. I had the shrimp and crab which was in my opinion was extremely overpriced. Basically four shrimp and four small crab claws for $32! My mother had a turkey club which was average at best. The fries were excellent though. The service was good and friendly. It’s just the food seemed very overpriced and quite a weird selection. Much prefer the old menu.
DECENT, NOTHING SPECIAL. EVERYTHING WAS AVERAGE, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING REMARKABLE.
Overall two stars only because we were not told that we would be charged five dollars a slice for us bringing our own cake and serving ourselves we ended up having to take the cake out of the restaurant and eating it somewhere else very inconvenient the food was good but just warm when we got it after waiting a long time the staff amazing very kind attentive five stars for staff
This was my first visit to T. Cooks and I will definitely be back again. I would have liked to order a glass of wine to enjoy with my entrée, but was not given the opportunity until I was halfway through my delicious meal. Overall, our server was very good, friendly and efficient. This one little criticism did not spoil the meal at all nor did it make me think anything less of T. Cooks. Wonderful meal in a beautiful location.
We had a wonderful dining experience at T. Cooks. The service was impeccable and every food dish we had was amazing. We had the mussels to start, then my husband had the Argentinian Ribeye and I had the Lamb chops. Highly recommend!
T. Cook's is one of the better white-table-cloth restaurants in greater Phoenix -- and is a hidden gem. While the flashier places do a lot of advertising, T. Cook's focuses on the things that make a great customer experience -- food, drink, service and quality. Hard to beat. We'll be back.
We had an amazing meal at he cooks! We have been there at least 25 times, and always look forward to our next visit. I definitely would recommend this to anyone and everyone!!
