Had fond memories if this place. Place is gorgeous but service and food were much lower end than we remembered.
Taking it off the list.
Paella was not good but ribeye and octopus were excellent
So romantic, food and service was spectacular. Ambiance was magical.
Everything was great but they are not enforcing mask rules. A large wedding reception was going on next to the restaurant with most attendees not wearing masks! Some of these wedding party people actually walked thru the outdoor patio area where we were dining without a mask. Plus there is a walkway right next to the patio where they also walked by without a mask. Otherwise, great food and service but we couldn't wait to get out of there!
I had a reservation at 1:30pm and no one was at the host stand and once someone came she said they close at 1:30pm. I told her I had a reservation at 1:30pm and she said wait a moment I have to see if the chef gonna serve you. She came back with a gentleman and he said that I should not have a reservation and pointed to the sign stating they close at 1:30pm. I asked if I could speak to a manager because I was traveling from out of town and others are to join me and he said wait a moment and left. I didn’t get seated until 2:00pm... The food was good but the service is not the best I don’t believe I will go back.
Classy place, I had forgot how good the food was here. Sat outside on patio with proper social distancing. Great service. Lamb jobs are some of the best I have had anywhere and decent portion. Highly recommend. Bar is also outstanding but no Angel's Envy!
We had a wonderful evening!
Great experience beautiful set up and delicious food
We had a wonderful time as always at T. Cook’s. The food was excellent and the service supreme!
We love T Cook's so we decided that was where we wanted to go for Valentine's Day Dinner. My husband ordered the beet salad, which had hardly any beets. The entrees were very good but not over the top. The desserts were OK but not memorable. I had the chocolate brownie and it was not very moist. For $135.00 a piece it was quite disappointing. This is the first meal at T Cook's that we were disappointed. We will go back but not on a busy day such as Valentine's Day.
Valentines Day Dinner for 2 almost $300(overpriced) for mediocre food. $52.00 service fee /tip was automatic instead of letting me provide my own tip (also asked for additional tip on bill (if you opted to leave one ). Only option was the Valentines Day menus instead of the normal menu.
I have love T cooks for more than a decade. It is a perfect location with talented and friendly staff. Today our server was perfect in every way.
T Cooks was super romantic and quiet. Brunch was the perfect way to kick off Valentine's Day! The service was great and the food outstanding!
Well for a Valentine's dinner and fixed menu we were very disappointed. The ambiance was very nice, but that is about it. We ordered the grilled octopus and it came out very over done. We were given the option to replace the octopus with a salad, which we did and then the wrong salad came, so had to wait for another one. We ordered a bottle of wine and even with our issues, it didn't arrive until we were mostly done with our appetizer course. Scallops were overdone and the lamb that I asked for medium came barely medium rare. We didn't even comment as we just wanted to leave. Because we are gluten free and dairy free, there were no desserts available to us either even though I called in advance and let them know a few weeks prior and they said they would accommodate us. Very expensive for a glass of champagne, salad and main course.
Overall, for an establishment that supposedly has a good reputation, we were extremely disappointed.
Another awesome dinner. Service from our waiter Paul to all the staff it was wonderful.
Had the whole family out for a nice dinner out. From the opening Dates with Goat cheese and Bacon , into a super fresh salad with fresh pomegranate a intermission cleanse with sorbate right through our main course into a finish with Chocolate brownies and cheese cake. Had good service, good food , good setting and good memory made
Beautiful ambiance and location. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was delicious though pricey.
One of my very favorite date night spots. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is intimate and romantic. I loved having outdoor seating by the fireplace.
Best Lamb Chops I have ever been served. Best Papaya ever tasted. Nice wine list.
Most impressive is Sasha, our server, who is consistently one of the best ever. The supporting serving staff is impeccable as well.
Our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the world.
Great place, food was, well, fair. I had the rib-eye steak, is was tough and somewhat overcooked. My wife had the salmon, that was better. Overall, ambiance was great but we have had much better food at this price point. Hope they improve.
Everything and everyone was awesome!
It was wonderful.
The absolute worst paella I have ever had. Shopping mall restaurant do better. There wasn’t even a hint of saffron in it.
Overall WAY over priced!!
It is always difficult for a fine restaurant to operate at peak in the middle of the COVID pandemic but T. Cook's did a great job anyway. The food was spectacular, the wait staff was excellent and the cocktails were well poured. It was a great evening for the two of us and it reminds us to come back more frequently.
Great ambience. Very romantic. Loved the tiled Escudos of the Spanish cities and the overall architecture.
Amazing and elegant experience. Will be visiting again and will recommend
We came specifically for soup, salad, the most amazing mussels with capers and ended on lamb cooked to perfection! We love the food. The service is excellent, always.
Outstanding cuisine and service
Great place that values their customers because our main course was a little late the chef bought our dessert and drinks on the house.
Attention to detail and level of service provided for the rating of the restaurant did not match. Soup was cold, mussels after they were delivered 10 minutes only then were brought the appropriate cutlery. Bowl provided for shells was a small bread plate instead of another bowl. For a well seasoned world traveler, unmet expectations
Excellent service and delicious food!! The mussels and entrees are a can't miss.
Great food and outside music. Sit outside and enjoy the night
Food was great, service was great and they even had a decorated table and special dessert prepared for us for our anniversary. We had asked for an outside table to practice social distancing but they had already decorated one inside for us so we sat there without saying anything. It was fine once the couple seated right next to us left we were pretty secluded.
We (two couples) celebrated a birthday dinner at T.Cooks. As usual, it was wonderful! The food was delicious, the decor is so elegant, and they gave us a birthday dessert! Afterwards we strolled the lovely grounds and enjoyed the full moon! Thank you for an elegant evening.
We absolutely love this place - excellent service, food and atmosphere. The resort is amazing. You feel transported to a Mediterranean villa. Enjoy!
The food was absolutely amazing as usual. The server was below expectations because our plates sat on the table way beyond normal. No pre-bussing. Also our dessert plates were left on the table until we received our checks. The busboy kept reaching over in front of my guests to remove plates.
From start to finish the experience was exceptional. The ambiance at The Royal Palms is spectacular. The drive up to the property banked by lit palms and the floral courtyard sets the stage for a special evening. We were seated at a table in an interior courtyard which was very comfortable and of course lovely. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and knew when to leave us alone and when to check in with us. We started with charred octopus which was phenomenal! One guest plans to return and have that for her entree she enjoyed it so much. Everyone was very pleased with their entrees which included: paella, pork tenderloin, Argentine ribeye and beef tenderloin. The ratio of proteins to rice in paella was spot on and the dish was full of flavor. The pork was delicious and again packed with flavor. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious. All of the portions were MORE than suffice to and no one left hungry! We would all happily return!
Amazing food but horrible service. Our server (I forgot her name) was not very good nor did he paid attention to detail. We had to keep asking for drinks, utensils, and just about any question we asked, our server’s mind somewhere else. Even when asking questions she would walk away. Not impressed about service. Food on the other hand was amazing!
Birthday! Food was outstanding, loved the patio
Excellent service.
Delicious food.
We love their cozy atmosphere with live music.
