Really enjoyed sitting outside. Patio heaters made it more than inviting. So beautiful and comfortable.
The dinner was fantastic! Service was great! Would absolutely dine here again!
This is one of my favorite Phoenix restaurants and tonight's food hit the mark. Known for their lamb chops, and they didn't disappoint. The filet, pork chops and short rib were all very good. Unfortunately, the service didn't match. Water and bread arrived quickly but our party of four had to wait quite a while before placing our order. Perhaps this is part of the larger staffing shortage issue.
Birthday. Very disappointed in the birthday desert and server.would not put mask above nose.
We sat outside by the fireplace, the atmosphere was amazing. Our waiter Sasha was awesome, he was so personable and attentive. T Cooks is one of my favorite places to dine when visiting Scottsdale, the bar/lounge area is also quite special!
We have been to this restaurant before. From beginning to end, the food, drinks and service were excellent. We will definitely return.
Rodrico was an outstanding server. We enjoyed the new entree choices.
Floored. The food was amazing! The service was wonderful. The setting is beautiful. I cannot say enough about this dining experience. 5 stars!!
T Cooks is an amazing experience! The ambiance, food and service were all wonderful.
Food was outstanding with presentation as well as quality. Prices a bit high but portions and quality made it worth it. Server was pleasant but not engaging but we did get very good service otherwise. Complimentary birthday dessert complete w candle and chocolate “happy birthday “ was much appreciated. It was also extremely nice to have my birthday acknowledged by the hostess and server. The hostess was great and had a very warm personality! Highly recommended!
Royal Palms Resort is beautiful and breakfast and dinner at the hotel was excellent.
We scoured the Phoenix area for a special place to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We needed to find a place that had lamb (my wife loves lamb) and T Cooks fit the bill. The resort grounds are lovely with a rich history and the restaurant has an old-world clubby atmosphere that is pretty quiet and elegant without being ostentatious.
Service was okay. Our server was extremely polite, but made an error in our salad order that caused it to have to be re-prepared as requested.
Their focaccia was fabulous, I can't remember ever having better and it came with a tasty pesto sauce. Our entrées (Rib eye and Sea Bass - they were out of lamb) were badly undercooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen. It took 45 minutes from being seated to getting entrées the first time. We thought that was pretty long - you be the judge.
The up side was that the manager insisted on comping our meal, even after we insisted multiple times that we pay. We did generously tip our waiter.
In summary, I think this whole "pandemic" has caused a lot of unforeseen issues with businesses with a very long and stellar histories. Worker shortages, supply shortages, draconian "protective" measures like masks that make normal experiences seem far less than what they could be. I think pre-COVID we probably would not have experienced any issues, so due to the challenges this restaurant is no doubt facing and their very gracious acknowledgement that they missed the mark I'm giving them a 3 out of 5 stars.
We will be back in the spring for another try.
There were 7 of us at table and everyone’s dinner was delicious. Service was excellent. Lovely restaurant and will be back.
We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner! Food was excellent! Service by Rodrigo mail as excellent! We will be returning soon.
My husband and I have been to T. Cook's in the past we always feel as if some movie star from long ago could just happen to walk by. their New Year's Eve menu was absolutely FANTASTIC! every item on that menu was a knockout. and the service, as always, was tops! if you haven't been to this resort, you owe it to yourself as one of the most wonderful treats in life to enjoy...
We had a great last meal of our trip at T Cook's for the whole family. We loved the setting, brussels sprouts, and the service. The carbonara was spectacular as well. I will return next time I am in the area.
The food and service at T Cook’s was phenomenal! The atmosphere was beautiful and a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!
As 2 women going to a restaurant I thought we were past historical restaurant misogynistic treatment but alas no. We arrived for an early dinner and were immediately put into a corner in an empty restaurant to get cold. Luckily I wore thermals so I at least got to take my coat off. My mom, not so lucky.
The waiter was straight to the point. No specials tonight yet to every table he sat after us there was a whole speech on what foods was best. The m/f twosome seated after us got a 4 top, the next f/f twosome… well u guessed a cramped little table away from the main ambiance of the restaurant.
Waiter treated us condescending throughout the meal which was only saved by the pesto and our very lovely water server. I have been to many lesser restaurants than this and never had to refill my own glass from the bottle every time.
Here it seems best to bring along a man to get noticed.
T.Cook's is where you take out-of-town guests who want to experience the best Phoenix has to offer. Everything about it classy.
Food was fantastic
We got married at the Royal Palms Resort 10 years ago. The property is truly gorgeous, feels like you’re in another country. One of a kind!
The service we had at T Cooks last night was outstanding.
Unfortunately, the food is very pricey for the quality and my wife’s pasta and shrimp dish was not tasty at all. We actually sent it back.
My pork chop was good, not great. Probably should have ordered the filet, as I often do.
The beet salad was ok. The octopus starter was really good.
We eat out at nice restaurants a fair amount and feel that for $40-$60 per entree, the entrees should be next level, truly amazing.
Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed up the food quality, but enjoyed walking the property after dinner and reminiscing about our beautiful wedding there from a decade ago, as it’s gorgeous.
The food was amazing and priced high but worth it. Food came out fast and server was super friendly. All staff were polite.
Prime rib was over cooked. Tasted like pot roast.
Had prime rib that was just average. The green beans were stringy, like dental floss. The dessert was no better than you can purchase at your local grocery. I will not go back.
Great service. Tried the avocado dip which was excellent
Thought I had booked the Christmas menu. I didn't notice anywhere on Royal Palms website that the Christmas menu didn't start until 1pm. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Instead ended up with only the breakfast menu. Just disappointed we ended up with just breakfast instead of the 4 course menu. This was specifically for my mom, who was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Feel like I disappointed her. Oh well.
The food, ambience and service was fantastic! We will be back
Perfect birthday destination. Special birthday, special restaurant. Best patio table, too. Food was FAB!
We are all vegetarians and there was only one vegan entree. We ended up eating starters and salads instead. There were very good though
Just amazing!! Always a fabulous experience at T.Cooks!! Everything and everyone made our Christmas celebration a time to cherish!
I am vegan and ordered the vegan pasta. I never said I wanted the gluten-free noodles. The pasta dish was served with gluten-free noodles and was below average. I could’ve done better at home. Didn’t check the tab but I’m pretty sure I got charged extra for the gluten-free noodles as well.
We have been to T Cooks a number of times, and everything has always been outstanding. This time was different. The food was just average a very expensive. The menu was limited. The ambiance and service were very good. We probably won’t be back soon even though we love the place
We had a lovely noon brunch seated by a window - it was just lovely. We had French Toast, seasonal omelette & prosecco. But the best was avocado toast! ☆☆☆☆
It was a delightful holiday luncheon! Unfortunately, she found a long black hair in her salad when she was almost finished eating!!! They did not charge us for the salad!!
Lamb was terrible. Lights went on at 9:10. Seemed rushed to leave.
HI our table was at the window, inside and our waiter, Brian was polite and he tried to get our order out, it took 45 min for eggs benedict and club sandwich. He apologized and gave us a free Anniversary dessert. It was at 11 am Sunday. When my food came, the plate was hot, but the food was cold. Sorry, not a good day
Fabulous customer service, excellent brunch food and great atmosphere.
Always top quality food in the most beautiful setting. Servers are true professionals. Such great service!
Excellent meal and attentive service that made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the evening.
Went with a friend for a holiday brunch and we had a lovely time. Jesse our waiter was attentive but not hovering. We were able to have a relaxing time and catch up. We both had eggs benedict which was delicious and nicely presented. The mimosa flight was just the perfect amount of bubbly for us to share.
