Birthday! Food was outstanding, loved the patio
Excellent service.
Delicious food.
We love their cozy atmosphere with live music.
We were seated as requested on the patio at a beautiful table in the corner.
We arrived early so we enjoyed a drink in the bar, an excellent jalapeño muddles martini was a wonderful experience. We ordered appetizers of mussels and octopus, the mussels for me had too many capers but my husband enjoyed them, our friends enjoyed the octopus very much. My husband for dinner asked if he might have his salmon blackened, it was lovely to hear a reply from our waitress of “Yes, of course!”. His salmon was perfection, presented beautifully with a white bean blend. I ordered the short rib, it also arrived in a beautiful presentation with a mushroom risotto, steamed baby carrots and rabbini, a vegetable very similar to broccoli. This dish in particular was off the charts in execution and flavor. The short rib itself was the size of a brick, tender and juicy with a waterfall sauce that complimented beautifully, the risotto was luscious, tender and rich with flavor, the two vegetables were cooked to perfection. Our friends both enjoyed the paella, which they said was perfect. This grand dame of a real Arizona style resort shines with care and the beauty of the old west and T. Cooks never disappoints.
We ate our way thru scottsdale and this was the best place we went to. The absolute best steak and ambiance around. Priced well and fantastic wine selection and service.
It was lovely wonderful would love to go again
The food was delicious - especially the duck confit for NYE dinner. But the service was extremely slow. We were seated at 9:30pm. Bread came at 10:00pm. First course at 10:30pm. Entree at 11:15pm. So we had to take dessert back to our room to enjoy the midnight ringing in if 2021. Did not enjoy dessert as it had become too soft and strawberries were missing. Which was the main parti dither dessert. But overall had a great time. Live band was great.
We had a wonderful dinner on New Year’s Eve. Everything was on point. When I had set the reservation I was under the impression there was both a set menu and ala carte options. When I arrived I discovered that I only had the set menu option. This created a more expensive meal than we had planned. We are light eaters. The food portions were perfect but price point was high. I have been to T Cooks several times over the last 15 years so I do know this is an exceptional dining experience with a price attached, I just had been prepared for a slightly different range. This ended up being the highest amount for a dining experience than I have ever paid. We did order additional drinks and the meal came with champagne. T Cooks and the Royal Palms experience is elegant but my husband and I agreed that we’ve had similar service and food on a holiday evening that was as memorable without the high expense.
We enjoyed our dinner at T. Cook's!! Our food was good, the service was good, and that atmosphere was very enjoyable. I would recommend it anyone planning to dine in the Phoenix area. Tennessee Girl
It was beautiful and festive, the food and service were perfect. Definitely will come back again
A great evening out during the pandemic. The outdoor seating was not crowded, the propane heaters kept us warm and the service was great. We had a seabass entree and a paella with a bottle of albarino, and all were delicious. The octopus appetizer was fantastic.
Walking in, we had great expectations. Once we sat down, it was apparent that this is not a destination venue, but perhaps a training opportunity for the hospitality industry throughout Scottsdale. Drinks were overpriced, food was average and the hospitality and service were abysmal, condescending, and not worth the price. T. Cooks should be D- Cooks.
Eh, food was expensive , but not good
Our server Joy was so pleasant and kind. The staff was very attentive and the ambiance was beautiful. Food was delicious!
Everything from the food, staff, experience, etc exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for making our anniversary memorable. We will be back someday without a doubt.
The dining room, ambience and service was great. Food a disappointment. I ordered the paella and it was dry and seafood overcooked . My husband steak was large, but Luke warm and sides tasted like they were leftovers.
I hate to write negative reviews, but have to be honest about our experience.
A very enjoyable evening. We would definitely go back.
Great outside dining with a good environment. Felt comfortable all evening with the great wait staff.
Excellent as expected Plus garden walks on the hotel grounds.
Excellent service, superb food. I could not think of a better way to celebrate Christmas Day.
The limited menu was a surprise, but there were outstanding options. For 3 of us, we came away perfectly satisfied!
Beautiful hotel and decorations. My husband loves his fluffy, moist pancakes, and my egg Benedict is delicious also.
Our Christmas Eve celebration dinner was wonderful! T. Cooks was lovely as always, beautifully and tastefully decorated, with outstanding service, perfectly prepared food, and great ambiance. I think this could easily become an AZ tradition and highly recommend it to all.
Food was surprisingly not as good as usual, maybe because of the holiday? Service was spectacular (thank you, Joi!)
Loved the service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FABULOUS!! FOOD ALWAYS AMAZING AND SERVICE OUTSTANDING!!!
We sat outside by the fireplace and it was just perfect. The food and service were great!
Sasha was our outstanding server! He was very helpful in explaining the restaurants new AMAZING holiday cocktails. He also made some amazing pairing recommendations do our meal. We love the food, the service, and atmosphere here! Next time we must save room for an extra dessert. I would recommend the mussels and pear salad as starters, followed by the lamb! Fresh from Colorado.
Perfect venue for a ladies luncheon
Food and service were good. However o made the reservation
The paella had way too much citrus to it and the lamb was bland and served very late. Overall the experience did not meet the pricing and we will not be back.
Outstanding service & wait staff. Beautiful aesthetics. However, the food was mediocre. The $55 steak was served barely warm. Honestly Texas Roadhouse has better steaks for a fraction of the cost. The soup was okay, nothing special. The food was either under seasoned or over seasoned. Basically, it looks good & that’s pretty much it.
Disappointed that they have a very limited menu and it was not known ahead of time. Otherwise it was a great experience.
Awesome food and service. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and it was epic.
Dinner was lovely. We ate on the patio which was beautiful and cozy with the fireplace going and heaters. The service provided by Sasha was exceptional and the food was amazing especially the octopus and the lamb chops. My husband has a severe allergy to gluten and most of the menu was gluten free and he had no issues (which is a rarity). Highly recommend!
They are doing a great job of social distancing. We had an outdoor spot in front of the fireplace. Their service is always great.
Fabulous service and you can reserve an outside table in the enclosed courtyard or the front area by the fountain. Eat outside and let's defeat Covid together!
The waiter was non-attentive, very slow service.
WONDERFUL SETTING FOR THANKSGIVING. GREAT FOOD AND TERRIFIC SERVICE!
Total disappointment. Assume it was because it was a holiday. Salad drenched in dressing, food was cold and the our server was may have forgotten about our table???
Thanksgiving dinner was superb.
