Great atmosphere everything was good except my $50 chicken diner. Very very disappointed, would have paid $8 for that entree.
We loved everything about our dining experience at T. Cook's. The dishes were unique and delicious. We loved our table looking out on Camelback Mountain too!
We had friends visiting from out of town and knew that they would love T Cooks. Dinner was excellent and the service was outstanding.
We had not been to T. Cook's for several years. Friends we had not seen in many years came through Phoenix so we decided to take them to T. Cook's. It was such a great dining experience. Beautiful location with such professional and kind service personnel. Food was wonderful - quality, quantity and presentation. Our server was perfect - knowledgeable, responsive, exceptionally personable and kind. We had a wonderful time with our friends in a perfect environment! Thank you T. Cook!
Not the T. Cooks it used to be. Food was meh, service was not up to par with a high end restaurant (appetizer dishes left in the middle of the table after dinner was delivered to the table) Paella was oily, one piece of chicken and empty shells. Steak was rubbery and hard to chew, appetizers and salads were good.
Restaurant was dirty. Nothing to dry your hands on in the bathroom. 2 towel bins under the sink floor to discard hand towels and both overflowing with dirty used hand towels. Dirt and water on the floor.
Love the courtyard area but not worth the $450 we spent here for dinner. On to other options.
Food and service were excellent. We sat outside, and the patio is not as relaxing as some other restaurants…not as green or cool feeling. Very quiet, which is hard to find these days. We never felt rushed, although the entrees arrived about a minute after the appetizer plate was cleared…even our server was surprised. Great experience overall, would definitely return.
We had an excellent meal with phenomenal service and recommendations.
The ribeye was insanely good. Appetizers and sides were also great. The paella was mediocre. High quality, but nothing super-special. Service and atmosphere were superb.
Food excellent! Waitress fantastic... decor 1950's
Needs serious help on ambulance!!
Wonderful dinner with great service and exceptional food! Highly recommend!
Food service was a little slow, but I can understand that this might be related to a labor shortage. It wasn’t a huge problem. I was seated for two hours as a solo diner; it seems a little long.
Great service and food.
Such a pretty restaurant.
Can we give it even more stars?
Paella was very good from all the protein and also the rice. We asked for outside seating and received it but not in the same area as usual due to weddings going on. We were fine with it and on the whole, truly enjoyed the dining experience
Definitely a place to take the Mrs for a romantic dinner. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I took my wife to celebrate our anniversary, and was not disappointed!
I was trying to book somewhere else, but was unsuccessful, so this place turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If the rooms weren’t so expensive, I would have booked a room in the resort.
Will come back.
Wonderful experience while staying at Royal Palms!
Birthday was amazing
The octopus was bland.
The paella was not tasty at all. The seafood was tasteless and there was no real flavor.
Short ribs and bass were very very good. I loved the leeks.
The ambiance and service was great.
The wine recommendation was good.
I would go back.
Great resort dining experience. Beautiful garden surroundings with patio dining. Service was excellent. Food well presented and large portions.
First night at the resort! Food was amazing and so was the service :)
Restaurant: Lackadaisical, poor food combinations and overall marginal.
Bar: we literally sat 20 minutes, even though I was raising my arm to get attention, before being noticed (and the bar is not a large area).
Outstanding service and pleasant outdoor seating, but the food leaves something to be desired.
Great atmosphere. Old restaurant with much charm. Relaxed. I’d dine there again when back in town.
Excellent service by Brian and excellent food, as always. T. Cook's is our special place to celebrate events, this time Marigold's birthday.
Delicious! Extraordinary food, flavors, preparation. Great service. Excellent busboy! Beautiful atmosphere. Citrus Creme Brulee was amazing.
Amazing service! Food was good. We celebrated our anniversary and they laid rose petals on the table. Extra special touch. Nice date night. Had the bucatini and pork chop for restaurant week.
The pork chop that we ordered was overcooked and dry during restaurant week 2021. The restaurant was not overly busy so I don't believe the kitchen was overwhelmed. This was a very important date for me so there was no way I wanted to return the meal so I ate part of it and left the rest. However on a positive note the sole we ordered was cooked to perfection.
The grounds were beautiful to take a walk through after dinner and was the highlight of the evening.
Unfortunately dinner was very disappointing.
Shrimp Appetizer was undercooked, and Pasta had NO flavor. Nicely presented tho~~
Great portions, great recommendations, staff was INCREDIBLE and the food was even better. So beautiful!
I took my husband to T. Cook’s to celebrate his birthday. We had a fantastic evening! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was stellar. I highly recommend this restaurant and you must try the Citrus Olive Oil Cake!
Our server, Ernesto, was vigilant and pleasant. The food was interesting for Restaurant Week - good value. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
We were there for restaurant week and did pre-fixe menu. The choices were varied and good
We were there for a business dinner. The meal was good but we have been there many times over the years and it was not as special as past visits.
Went as couple and ordered from AZ Restaurant Week menu. The food (appetizer, main, and dessert) was good, competently prepared, but not remarkable in any way. The service was OK but not particularly attentive. We had to request coffee from the table busser. The mandatory 20% service charge added to the bill was an unwelcome surprise. In sum, it did not seem like a good value for restaurant week.
The quality of food & drinks are great! I don't necessarily like the restaurant noise level to be overwhelming & T. Cook's ambience was perfect. Our server was lovely & had a great sense of humor which also made our dinner even more enjoyable!
Like everywhere else, the place appears to be understaffed. My entree arrived lukewarm. The food was good, but not fabulous. A 20% service charge is added to the bill, which is fine. However, the restaurant leaves a line for the tip in the credit slip without indicating that it's for additional tip.
Took advantage of restaurant week to try T. Cooks and we are now forever fans. The food was excellent as was the service (Jeff was wonderful!). The only unfortunate part of the experience was the table next to us whose diners apparently felt they owned the place. No fault of the restaurant’s, just unfortunate that they were given the table next to us. Regardless, we will definitely be returning!
It was Arizona Restaurant week, so there was a special tasting menu. Without going into details, everything was excellent, including the service.
Foods and Service are both amazing! Wine pairing was a good value. I would return.
