Great dinner and great experience!
It was our 20th Anniversary, so they set a special table decorated with rose petals, and greeted us very graciously.
Food & service was excellent!
Unfortunately we had a very loud-mouthed attorney at the next table, who felt we had to hear every word of his conversation, as he was holding court!
The ambiance inside & out was superb!
The atmosphere is amazing. Service was wonderful albeit our waiter never coming back to ask how our food was. The food was fair. Fish was overdone. Some of our meals were barely warm. Expected more for the price point. We had been here once before and it was * 5 stars. Took friends for an amazing experience and left a bit disappointed.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday for lunch there this afternoon. We had the salmon and flat iron steak. Service was five star with Brian as our waiter but the potatoes au gratin were undercooked (almost raw) and my steak was full of gristle. The steak sauce, which was excellent, camouflaged the steak, however! And the complementary birthday dessert was an unexpected surprise. We’ve have dinner there before but this was our first lunch. The atmosphere and ambiance is terrific but the food (which is why one eats out) was less than superb.
Great great food. Service was attentive when around but long breaks between stopping by. Still our favorite spot in Phoenix
The Sunday brunch was marvelous. Food selections were perfect and our entree of Branzino was cooked to perfection with a wonderful accompanying sauce. Outdoor patio seating was truly special.
...AND IT CONTINUES...THE EXCELLENT SERVICE...FOOD...IS ONLY SURPASSED BY THE BEAUTIFUL SETTING!...MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SPEND TIME WITH MY DAUGHTERS AND GRANDDAUGHTERS!...
I took my daughter in for St. Patricks Day Breakfast, we had the best meal! We are locals so its fun to go in there and have a good experience. It was nice for my daughter, thank you!
We are visiting the Phoenix area and enjoyed two fabulous evenings at T. Cooks.
T. Cook's is no place for rookies. This is not a typical hotel dining room. Rather, it is among the Top 5 dining spots in the greater Phoenix area. Service is impeccable. Table settings are perfect. Each item, from bread to the check, is brought promptly and placed properly, the whole thing done with understated elegance. The menu is not long, but it is diverse. There is something for just about every taste and dining rule. The wine list is very diverse with a few bottles priced over $1,000. The bartender(s) is well above average. I must admit I have never paid more for a meal for four -- and I paid without looking back. There was definitely value for the price. We will definitely be back.
From the moment you drive in through the towering palm trees and are looking right at the beautiful mountains, then ushered into a lovely, welcoming courtyard full of flowers, you know this is no ordinary place. The ambiance, grounds and decor are all outstanding. Not to mention the impeccably prepared food and service....you will never be disappointed here. Either dine inside , or on one of the patios, the experience is the same. Outstanding. I think this is the most beautiful and delicious of all the dining places in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
Beautiful and historic resort and restaurant. Delightful lunch!
Royal Palms Resort, and T. Cook's in particular, are perfect for an elegant, pampered get-away. The venue is secluded, charming and quiet. The restaurant is superb both in the food and beverage selections. While this is a bit pricey compared to other quality resorts and restaurants, it is absolutely worth it.
Price/value is out of line. NYC prices without the special food presentation. Used to be my go to place...walked away disappointed.
Table next us ordered the Wagu Beef on hot stone.....it literally reeked. Very uncomfortable.
Great food and service is great too. Ask for Joi!!
Food order was a little messed up.
Did not order mashed potatoes but was delivered and charged.
Words can not describe our experience. Every single dish was over the top when it came to presentation and flavor. Most incredible meal and timed perfectly. Service was exceptional. Resort and overall ambiance is intimate yet elegant and casual. Date night, special occasion or just in the mood for an exceptional dining experience .... don’t think twice!!
Great. Have us free desert.
Service was not great. Our server has a big group and basically disappeared on our table :(
Not with the waiter we had.
This was a special evening with friends from out of town. We had the same table as we had for our last visit, but not the same server. He took forever to appear, didn't walk us through the process, took several visits before he got our drink order and another ten minutes to deliver them; another long wait to get the meal order. The food was superb (and pricey) After we ate and waited forever for a check he left it and disappeared. We completed the order and the bill and credit card sat on the table for another ten minutes. I finally had to flag him down (he constantly would go by our tale. then walk in another direction). and point to where it was.
Simple, consistent, and one of the finest establishments AZ has to offer.
Incredible food and service deserving 4 stars or more in anyone’s book!
perfect weather on back patio. great food and drinks. the server was excellent. we wpuld recommend trying the avacado toast. We will be back again
Clearly the best restaurant in the greater Phoenix area.
Wonderful food and impeccable service in a beautiful setting. Certainly worth the price.
Outstanding as always
We were a bit underwhelmed with our recent visit. The service was outstanding, however there were children running around in the grounds and the food was not stellar. The best thing about dinner was dessert.
I would have preferred to order off the menu instead of a buffet. I did not wish to leave the patio for the bar to order.
We were not able to get an earlier reservation, which we prefer. Consequently we had to wait in line for the buffet and many items were gone and the staff was having difficulties keeping up to “demand”. Everything was delicious but hard to get at this time.
What a gem. This place never disappoints! Everything was outstanding.
Excellent brunch. We will be back. This was our second time there and won’t be our last.
Loved our brunch! The presentation for the Buffet Was amazing! Crab claws, meats and cheeses, HUGE shrimp... great selection of fruits to go with the creamy yogurt. There was sausage, bacon, crepes, and homemade granola. Live music in the back ground was a nice touch. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the service was excellent. In addition to the buffet, the price includes an entree! My steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend it! Walk around the hotel afterwards and enjoy Arizona history!
Very enjoyable brunch with live music. The only issue is the brunch times weren't listed so our reservation was at 930 and brunch didn't start till 1030. They moved our reservation when we got there but it would have been nice if they noticed the travelzoo on the reservation and let us know earlier.
Absolutely the best restaurant we have ever been to...started with Erik, who earlier before our reservation made us the GREATEST and TASTIEST Moscow mules (which includes fresh ginger and ginger candy to soak in it) we have ever drank. It was our 1 yr anniversary which I notated with my Open Table reservation, and we were greeted to rose pedals on our outdoor patio table which was a wonderfully pleasant surprise! They recently turned over their menu btw but for starters my girlfriend ordered the Abby Lee Farms Tomato—it was fantastic! We also ordered the P.E.I steamed muscles which comes with lamb chorizo—WOW, you’ll love it. For the side we just ordered asparagus and it was perfect as well. For dinner, she ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib which comes with wild mushrooms. This was the juiciest, most tender rib meat we’ve ever tasted. So delicious! I got the Herb Crusted Sea Bass, which I’m telling you was the the most INCREDIBLE sea bass I’ve ever eaten—so light it melted in my mouth. It has this fantastic citrus-honey reduction which was complimented by this really yummy avocado puree sauce on the plate to mix in with the fish. Service was phenomenal—and to our surprise they brought out a ‘Happy Anniversary’ plate with complimentary desert—I think it was the Nutella Cheescake—we wish we were still eating it at this moment! Thanks to everyone at the restaurant that made our dinner so special!!!
Can’t believe we paid the price for the two cuts of meat (bison ribeye and wagyu beefloin) that the four of us ordered. The steaks were not only tough, but very “unprepared” and tasteless. Sides were undercooked, chewy and cold (brussel sprouts and mushrooms). Service was very commendable but the chef and food procurers were below par. Would not recommend for dining experience.
Great atmosphere, great food, great waiter. Expensive but a treat.
Excellent service by Jeff who was fun and very knowledgeable of the menu.
A beautiful restaurant which my guests truly enjoyed.
Celebrating a birthday Wade are very perceptive and precise with everything he did
