T-Bones Chophouse - Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa Ratings and Reviews
I am a server on the Las Vegas strip. Never in my life would i charge for a refill for a soda, especially one that was brought to the table before being ordered. Not sure if this is a way to pad the check or just an overall poor decision on the servers part. Either way I’m pretty disappointed and no matter how good your food is, service matters and this is avmajor stain on a restaurant i otherwise would recommend to anyone who would listen to me.
We have dined here before and this time was terrible. The steaks were overdone, the braised ribs were dry and under seasoned, when asked about the prime rib the waiter said it was the "fattiest cut of meat on the menu" but gave no other specifics. The creme brule was... just plain gross. It had a funny chemical taste, like the dish was not rinsed out correctly and a soapy taste remained. They flat out burned the bananas foster. The service was terrible. The main waiter acted like we were a bother to him. They were out of the first bottle of wine we asked for...the second they had but when we ordered another bottle--they were out. It was a mess...out of the 6 bottles we tired to order they did not have 3 of them. We ended up settling for recommended wine that was not that great. The side dishes were amazing and so was the pear martini. The lump crap cocktail and the crab cakes were outstanding as well. Our bill was over 700.00 and I feel we should have had better service. Three minutes after we ordered the appetizers he wanted to get our main order started. It was like he was rushing us the entire time. And our reservations as at 5:30 so it was no where near closing time. Sadly, we will be choosing another place for our outings from now on.
Dinner was excellent and service was outstanding. I made reservations and after waiting awhile, we were escorted to a table by the bar. Too noisy for a special dinner! The receptionist had an attitude when i asked if I could have a table away from the bar. They made wait 30 more minutes. T-Bones is interested in Happy Hour and local returning customers. 😏
Bread came out very cold. Informed the server and replaced it quickly. My husbands order came out good. I had to wait a little bit since my steak came out medium and I asked for medium well and my baked potato needed to go back so they can melt the cheese. Server was very nice and fixed it. My husband didn’t want to start eating until I got my food. So his food was getting cold.
The two of us had a 7: 15 dinner reservation. They were already out of the Prime Rib which was the main reason for having selected this particular restaurant, given the proximity to our home. Very disappointed but agreed to the recommended NY Steak which turned out to be good.....but not great. Service was exceptional
It's a great place to go for a Filet Mignon, nice wine, and appetizers. HOWEVER, I'm a local and we go there at least once a month and although it's on the menu they NEVER have the Prime Rib. They always say the same thing...we had it but we are out. Last time is was 'we just had 20 of them and they are gone.'
I️ wrote stellar reviews about this restaurant after my first experience spring of 2017. So returning to Vegas this month we returned to celebrate a very special birthday for my sister in law. Yes, the ambience was still excellent, but the waiter a bit less experienced and less knowledgeable, but that alone would not have lessened my review as everyone has to start somewhere. My beef (pun intended) is the highly recommended ribeye was nothing more than ordinary. In fact, we prepare a tasty dish at home. Add that to a $400 bill and I’m not a happy camper. Disappointed to say the least. Consistency is necessary to keep clientele! And you’re off the strip! You need to try harder!
T-Bones is amazing. My friend and I both had the grass-fed filet mignon. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and amazingly tender. The waitstaff was attentive, keeping our glasses full and checking on us periodically. It is so nice to have a steakhouse of this caliber right down the street from my home.
Two of us were there dining out. The food for the second diner was cooked right - steak and potatoes - and were prepared properly. My steak was overdone and the replacement was cooked correctly. My asparagus was also over cooked and I had tater tots as a replacement. Unfortunately, the tater tots were over cooked! I gave up and finished the replacement steak. Also, hard to find our waitresses to get service. We were looking forward to desert but it took too long to get someone to wait on us so we tracked down the waitress to get our final bill so we could leave. No desert!
On the plus side the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Also, the waitresses were friendly when we could locate one of them.
I had my best friend in town and was excited to bring her to T-Bones for a great meal. I've been to T-Bones several times and this visit was the worst service I've had. Our waitress was horrible. She was a nice lady but she was slow serving us. Our drinks sat empty for a long time. It took forever to get our meal as well. I don't recall her checking on us after meal was served. It was very loud inside as well. I could barely hear my friend talk. I've been to a lot of steak houses and other high end restaurants that had impeccable service and worth every penny. It's very disappointing when you're expecting a great meal and it's not. Our service and food didn't hold up to our expectations and was way to expensive for what we got. I doubt we will come back knowing other steak houses in this city do much better all around.
We have always liked to be at the T-Bones. This time though, in general, the food was good. The only drawback was the Rack of Lamb. The last time I had it, it came with eight ribs, but this time, it was only six ribs and the price was the same as before. Other than that, we enjoyed the T-Bones Chophouse.
What a horrible dinner! First the waiter took 35 minutes to get us a cocktail, then another 50 minutes to get our meal. Not only was the wait long but when our food arrived it was warm and cool. When you drop $55 bucks on a steak you would hope that you get a sizzling steak cooked to perfection. This place is so over priced for what you get, don't waste your money this place is a rip off with no value.
We were overwhelmed with the service for the first half of our meal, but then they disappeared. We coudln't get any water or any other help without waving people down. We had preordered a birthday cake and it never came. VERY disappointed. Will not be back.
Great setting. Dress to impress and enjoy a great meal with nice live dinner music
Priced a little higher than I think they should be as all entree are priced without sides. Sides and salad run $10-$15 each so plan on spending $250 for a nice dinner for two when you add a glass or two of wine.
T-Bones has great food, but it's way too expensive for what you get. Our dinner for four people was over $400 and we weren't drinking. It's too expensive even by Las Vegas standards.
I would also suggest that the front desk try and smile. They seem to want you to wait for your table even when the table is ready. They had about four different parties standing around for no reason other than to stand around. You could see that there were plenty of open tables, yet everyone is waiting for ten minutes to sit down. That was a bad way to start out.
Our server Denise was exceptional! Very attentive and totally made the evening enjoyable.
Service was great, outdoor seating was requested and provided however a short distance away was a private party at the Cherry Bar and along with the lounge singer being piped out from inside made the experience rather poor for an expensive place. The food was awesome as always, however they ran out of prime rib at 7:10, disappointing.
