Too loud. Service was somewhat obnoxious. Almost rude. Chicken too peppery. Inedible.

Amazing food and beautiful decor. I had the shrimp rolls and Milanese they were fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. To end it off perfectly...we ordered the strawberry and chocolate sundae (enough to feed 6 people!) the size was huuuuugeeee and literally the BEST sundae I’ve ever had. This place seriously never lets me dow. I absolutely love coming here. Fantastic service and even better food!

The kids loved it... as one likes steak and the other pizza!! T-Bar is one of the few places that have both!!

TBars is a regular lunch favorite of mine. Tried a new salad--chicken with soba noodles--delicious. Their olive bread is delicious. Took home a turkey burger and the endive and beet salad, both of which I love.

Overpriced and very mediocre food, but the people who go there are NOT foodies nor do most of them seem to care that they are overpaying

Advertised as a steakhouse it's not a typical New York Steakhouse nonetheless I had a steak and it was pretty good. Bar has a nice Upper East Side mixer type ambience

I had wrote on my reservation that it was my granddaughter and my birthday. Nothing was done in the restaurant, in fact, the waiter was very cold. My granddaughter, at three, is very well behaved, yet, when he saw he, I felt he treated her as a pariah. They obviously didn’t recognize her with me, because when she goes with my son, who made her birthday party there last year, they fall all over themselves. The portions were small and I had asked, as per my daughter in law’s request, that they bring out the child’s entree when it has cooled a bit, (Mac and cheese), the request was not met. I ordered ice cream for her dessert, one scoop. I didn’t know they made scoops in teaspoon sizes? Perhaps it was a melon scoop. (Sarcasm) I called the waiter over, showed him the tiny ball on the bottom of a large bowl and he asked, should I bring more? No, this fits very well in her right cheek. I order chopped salad with salmon. My fish, which was just okay, rested on a stingy bed of greens with three cut up cherry tomatoes. Very disappointing.

I keep coming back because not once have I been disappointed. The food is always amazing. I came in for brunch today and I was so excited. It includes a brunch cocktail with coffee, tea or juice. The brunch menu includes blueberry pancakes are AMAZING!!! Must try them. Service as always is perfect as is the food.

The food is unbelievable, porterhouse , wild salmon, and a delicious tuna tartar.Stuff was attending and always there , in the end they gave us free desserts , smthg that not many restaurants do in this area. Thank you Tbar for a great dinning experience.
Everyone should try .

We went around 2PM and it was quite empty. It might be more interesting to go for dinner.

Been here couple of times with my wife and both occasions we were welcomed very well and the food was good. This time we came with our girls for a dinner, and also an early celebration of my birthday the next day. Realized that although their food selection is good, it is not child friendly.
Also not really good value. Now, I paid GBP2000 (c. $2800) restaurant bills for my birthday before and don't hesitate if its worth it. However beginning to become conscious at this restaurant about what we are paying for what. Paying about $180 for two chicken schnitzels, one burger and a salad with two glasses of wine is a bit too much for this restaurant. If you go for steaks and wine for all, with starters, you will end up paying over $100 each (as we did before), which is really a bit too much for this cozy crowded neighborhood concept.

I have passed by this restaurant many times and never tried it. I chose it, just to try something different and felt quite embarassed with my choice when our friends arrived.
The place felt dated. out of a time warp. My husband ordered a glass of wine for me while we were waiting for our friends to arrive and it was sticker shock when the bartender asked him for $19.60.
I wouldn't expect this in a place that looked like a dated bowling alley from the 1960's. ( It was not intentional retro decor).
The service was mediocre and our husbands' were both unhappy with their entrees.
My fish was "ok" at best. How can you mess up Branzino?
Out of all the great restaurants, how does this place survive?
One has to wonder....

What has happened to T-Bar? It is nowhere nearly as good as it once was. The pizza is mediocre at best, particularly for the price, and the chicken milanese was rubbery. Even their fabulous olive bread lacked its usual crisp outer layer. We didn't see Tony around when we were there, so maybe that explains it, but we won't be going back any time soon.

Superb service in elegant contemporary setting with excellent choices from salads to desserts. Worth the price if you are a foodie. Had the kale salad, branzino with citrus, and a fine Pinot Grigio .

Dinner is too noisy, so I have met here for lunch if a friend requested it. Italian Tuna which is meant to be a salad nicoise is surprisingly very ordinary. 3 blocks away there is a far superior one. The ambience is nice for lunch. I am a vegetarian and beside an omelette and the Italian Tuna, there was little else. A salmon burger would have been nice. The choice of rosemary bread and olive bread were crispy but way too salty. Do the owners actually eat what they serve?

First time trying this neighborhood restaurant for brunch/lunch and found the food to be very good. It was a really nice place to eat, relax and have good conversation. The omelet and french toast were very good and the brunch comes with a breakfast cocktail and coffee/tea.
I noticed in the back they have an area that would be nice for a large group, 8-10.

We dine there often but now this restaurant is becoming too expensive for what you pay. Paying $52 for a steak is a ripoff and would rather go to a steak house and pay that amount. Will not be dinning there anytime soon unless we go for a salad and pizza.

I used to love this restaurant but was there twice this week, once for dinner and once for lunch.
It was unbelievably noisy at dinner- no quiet spot for conversation. I don't remember it being like this. The prices have become too high. for example - $15.00 for apple crisp for dessert! Main entrees are now mostly in the above $30 range. Disappointing. It looks like they baffled only half the ceiling for noise control to save money. They need to fix this. This was my "go to" restaurant but now need to rethink.

Delighted by the food: everything from the bread basket to the extraordinary salmon ceviche to a delicious Irish salmon. Even the coffee was excellent. The strawberry shortcake dessert really stood out: Creative and unique! This gem is right in my neighborhood. I'll be back.
