Fantastic steak - reasonably priced Porterhouse with three sides more than enough for two! The interior is quite cool with a fantastic large window to look out at the hills. The main disappointment was the wine - $57 for a really bad Cabernet. iPad style wine menu was quite cool. Service was generally good but let down by wine menu not being kept up to date and feeling mis-sold. We ordered the 2013 and the 2015 was served. When pointed out the manager explained this is what the state had sent. Didn’t seem a good enough excuse. They would not reduce the price which was pretty poor. We were offered to choose a different wine but felt pressured / rushed with two people stood over our table so left it - but the wine really wasn’t drinkable for me (partner finished it off however!).
The meats were a little overpriced for the amount you get . $46 for a ribeye steak is a little much, but other than that everything from the bread dipping sauce to the creamed corn was absolutely delicious.
The food was good. Rob our waiter was great; very polite and quick. Overall, I would recommend it.
Impeccable service, everything done to perfection with remarkable attention to detail. Beautiful dining room. Truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended
Food & service was excellent. The manager even wrote me a happy birthday card. Love that place!
Our food was fabulous. Service was a bit on the slow side.
Excellent steak, a little pricey.
My Wife and I had been there before and it was very good. So, I decided to drive 50 mikes for Valentines Day dinner. They exceeded our expectations and we had a great time. The Salmon I order was the best I’ve ever eaten and my wife’s Scallops were excellent. Overall excellent. Worth the drive
Beautiful place everything was perfect! We always love the Switchback..
Good food. A bit overpriced for what you got. Servings too big. Smallest steak is 9 ounces. Would have liked a filet but it was 11 ounces! Would split entree next time. Overall nice. Feels touristy.
We went for dinner in November. I had reservations & we were seated right away. Although there were many open seats since Zion in the Fall is much less crowded than the summer. The wait staff & service were fast and recommendations were spit on. Great food. Pricey, as sides are alacarte but worth it. Overall was 5 star experience.
Great atmosphere. A bit pricey but worth every penny. We had the berry salad and the wedge. Both were excellent. We then ordered the scallops. The presentation was over and beyond and the taste was just as good. I highly recommend this hidden gem.
Everything is great from the bread to the main entrees.
Very nice looking restaurant
Service very good
Food was just ordinary and not inexpensive
Setting is nice. Food is OK but overpriced as are the wines. Service was subpar, especially for a restaurant with high aspirations and price. 20% tip was added to bill for our party of 4 without explanation.
The food was very good, but a bit on the expensive side for the overall meal. For a special meal, this would be a good choice. The servers did their job but not overly friendly. The atmosphere was VERY nice.
Excellent service, food, atmosphere. A nice quiet, relaxing evening after a day spent in Zion National Park. A great ending to a wonderful day.
Filet was tough and over-done, potatoes cold. For a premium priced steak, very disappointing. Our waiter was very accommodating and professional, however. He recognized it even before anything may have been mentioned. He apologized and gave us desert on the house. The desert was actually very good.
We enjoyed it here so much so we ate three nights in a row. The scallop appetizer was delicious as was the fish and the venison rack although for forty dollars would have like more then two ribs. The wine was wonderful. The two waitresses and the bar maid were all fantastic . They were Rosemarie , Jenny and Erin. Jake was the bartender and was very likable. Derek the manger came to our table asked how our meal was, which was appreciated. All in all a fantastic expiernce three nights in a row. Helped make our Zion trip very enjoyable
Friend and I were on vacation there from Michigan. What a gem of a spot. We talked about the Pecan encrusted Hawaiian Sea Base for 2-3 days after our trip. Our waiter has us laughing the whole evening and it was well worth the money. If I'm in this neck of the woods again it will be the top of my dining list.
Gargantuan portions and high prices to match. 80's throwback menu and ambiance. Food was well prepared though.
Lackluster wine list. Even though the restaurant knew we were celebrating a birthday, they didn't acknowledge at the table. Martini at the bar beforehand was a mishap, and bartender avoided us after we sent back the drinks.
Very accommodating to dietary requests. Table service was excellent. They were busy but didn't make us feel rushed.
We were really disappointed by the service. It took 30 minutes to get a bottle of wine. The staff was utterly clueless and borderline rude. The food was fine but way overpriced for such a service tragedy.
The restaurant was very nice and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. It is a little pricy but our food was very good. The portions were generous. Had trouble eating all of it.
The views out the window were stunning. We were there at sunset and it was a beautiful view. We would go back to this restaurant again when we are in the area.
Great food - excellent service - a bit pricy even for rural Utah
Disappointing food! Over cooked filet, Mai Mai dry dry .....Manager didn't charge us but had an attitude. Overpriced for the the quality of food. Maybe we had the B team cooks on Sunday.
The sushi grade ahi was properly prepared. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this local establishment.
Our server Jaime did a fantastic job!
Service was terribly slow... came I a half hour before reservation only to find the bar area closed for a private party. Could have sat us but turned us away til the reserved time. Once seated there were many tables that were unoccupied.
Awesome place to eat. Wonderful food, well worth the wait.
We have been on an extended vacation I think this was the best meal we had in a dozen states.
I thought the service was great but the steak was not worth $45.
Very good food and excellent service. Prices are reasonable for a fine dining restaurant.
Outstanding food, service, and not too loud for extended conversations if you have hearing issues.
This is an upscale restaurant with high quality food snd prices to match. The service however was lacking. Our food took forever to come out and no one ever checked in to see how we were doing.or cleared plates. A different server brought each course and neglected to remove empty dishes and other items. In fact, even after the check was delivered there were still containers of sauces and silverware on the table.
Food was delicious. Kids meals were an excellent value. cheeseburger for $9 and steak for $17, including fries and mashed potatoes/veggies respectively. Adult meals cost much more ($45 plus more for sides) but that's to be expected in this kind of fine dining establishment.
The dinner was terrible. Steaks were really over cooked. Sent them back. Replacements were cooked and ok, but under seasoned and burned on the grill marks. They do not know steaks. Creamed corn was nice.
Execellent dinner in Utah!
Surprised to find such a classy restaurant near Zion. Best meal we had there. Hats off to Erin, our server, who was knowledgeable and attentive.
The food was sub par. Beer was received frozen and not replaced. Service acted like they didn't care about our issues or problems.
