Switch Restaurant & Wine Bar
Great service Delicious food Had brunch and one person had lunch Can’t wait to go back!!!! Interesting menu
The food had good flavor. The shrimp and grits had a very small amount of grits.
This place has the best service, cocktails, and salads!!! Hands down!!!
The food was very good but very salty. An hour after dinner I was looking for some water.
There were 4 in our party. Each one of us tried something different. I chose to make a meal of muscle appetizer, it was excellent. My husband had the catfish poor boy, which he enjoyed. One of our friends had blackened catfish, she raved about it. The fourth member of our party enjoyed the chicken pot pie. We all decided we would return soon.
Our server was energetic and fun as well as helpful. We definitely put this restaurant on our list of places to frequent.
We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Switch. We were two couples out for dinner before a show at the Phoenix Theatre. The food was very good. I had the Switch salad which was very yummy. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. Our only negative comment would be that once it got busier, the noise level was not conducive to a comfortable conversation. We will be back, perhaps at a quieter time!!
Wonderfully considered recipes and beautiful presentation. Combination of flavors of both the soup and salad were superior, creative and absolutely delicious. Nice ambiance, though a little on the "cold" side for my personal tastes with a lot of black and silver and hard floors. Some really interesting and diverse paintings throughout the restaurant. This clearly is not a "rubber stamp" place - but rather a delightful, unique place to dine. And very reasonable prices to boot! Really liked Switch.
Remembered this place while in Phoenix years ago, and decided to try if again, while in town again. Tasty food, eclectic mix of things. Really enjoyed it.
Wasn’t anything special.
We always have a nice time at switch. The menu has a lot of varied choices so it's easy to keep everyone happy. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
A neighborhood favorite; tasty, reasonable, comfortable. Good service, friendly staff and an unquestionable go to place for easy relaxed drinks, or lunch or brunch or even dinner. Weekends could become loud based on the crowd (Tin ceilings) but if that's no issue ...othewise go on slower days Mondays, Tuesdays, Weekday eves or early brunch. Highly recommend.
It gets really noisy here, but the food is worth it. If you like French fries, their twisty fries are the best ever!!
Always enjoy lunch here. They were particularly busy that day. I was so glad I made open table reservation. Apparently the restaurant next door was, open f0r lunch that day. So glad to see the manager step and pitch hit where he could. It ended up being an excellent lunch and we were taken care of
The service was excellent. The restaurant was noisy and busy. I had the chicken sandwich with bacon which was quite enjoyable. The onion on top (pickled or jam) was a lovely and unexpected flavor burst. We had Bloody Marys which were so/so. I forgot the other entree but my husband said it was good.
Service was excellent; ambience and food were superb! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others without reservation!!!
great food great service, loved our waiter Dan. Food was very reasonably priced and plenty of it.
The macaroni and cheese was amazing! Loved the caesar salad too. What a great find!
Great ambiance... amazing service! But the food was not hot. Barely room temperature. It was Christmas Eve so i understand....
I love the place and will definitely go back!
We have an early dinner so it was very quiet which was nice. Food was very good as was the service.
Great food and amazing value on bottles of wine! We highly recommend!!!
Great find, especially for a bite before heading to Phoenix Theatre down there street. Fun, upbeat place, interesting menu, excellent waitstaff.
Wonderful as usual.
Friendly service; nice place to meet a friend for lunch. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
It’s our first time at switch and had a great time. The food was excellent better than what I would’ve thought. The ambience was nice on the patio. We will definitely be back. I will invite more friends.
Comfort food with a tasty twist. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. Portions hearty. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food as always - Nice to see all the familiar faces
Delicious food; friendly service
Only thing food portions are big
Enjoyed the outdoor patio. I especially enjoyed the blackened catfish. Two in our party had the pork paparadelle and really enjoyed it.
First meal at Switch Restaurant and we'll be back......
We really enjoyed our first visit to Switch Restaurant. If you are looking for some fantastic comfort food, this is the place! Our server, Kaylee, was terrific! She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great recommendations and she made sure she checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband started his meal with the cast iron clams. So good....they didn't last long! We both had the buttermilk chicken entree. This too was really good. It's hard to find good fried chicken, but Switch knows how to do it! I had the green tomatoes with mine which was so good, I could have made a meal on that alone. They give you so much food, we had plenty to take home for another meal! We will definitely be back!
Great food, service and location in Central Downtown Phoenix. Thank you Switch!
We found this place via Open Table and will definitely be back! Amazing food and service. Loved the grits and fried chicken.
The food and service was really good. I'd recommend it!
Nice atmosphere, excellent service. We took advantage of the restaurant week menu and were very pleased. Homemade tots especially good as were the short ribs and blueberry bread pudding. Highly recommend!
Terrific food and service. Really enjoyed talking with Chef Jason. We will go back again soon.
We went for restaurant week and had a great time! It was a 3-course price fixe meal with drink pairings. Everything was good. For starters I had the tater tots which were the size of large marshmallows with a spruced up ketchup. My friends had a watermelon salad that was yummy. Dinner was short ribs in a to die for dark gravy. Very tender and flavorful. I had the scallops on corn risotto. So. Much. Flavor!! Dessert was bread pudding for most of us and a chocolate brownie sundae for others. Again, so yummy. The food was cooked perfectly. The portions were just right. Our server was attentive, friendly, helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to eat off their every day menu. Oh yeah, big booths and nice outside area to eat in. Please visit this place!!!
Server was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was great.
The food quality was excellent and really enjoyed sitting out on the patio. The service was a bit slow and disjointed. Not sure if that was an issue with the kitchen/bar or with the server.
We visited during restaurant week. Everything we had was very good and the service was great and fun. We will return to try more from their regular menu.
