   We had our anniversary dinner on May 7, and the whole thing was wonderful. Lisa greeted us at the door with a huge smile and bubbly personality then guided us to our seats Next our server Heidi came over and asked if we wanted cocktails to start. Heidi made the best old fashioned I have ever had! My wife wanted something simple.and light so Heidi Made her a bellini which is now her favorite cocktail. Heidi also helped us with our dinner choices and the best wine for what we ordered. She was so wonderful, fun, so knowledgeable about the restaurant. When it was time for dessert, Heidi recommended the lemon tart which was made by Lisa (the young lady who seated us). It was so delicious! We had an amazing time and enjoyed all the food we ordered. You won't be disappointed eating here.

   Overpriced. $90 for lunch. No wonder there were only 2 tables being used. We ordered the chocolate cake to. Big mistake. It was horrible. Definitely not worth $15.

    Excellent food and great bottle of wine. We shared gambas to start then husband had the ribeye and I had the swordfish special. It was a rare night out for us and it was wonderful. Pricey but worth it. We'll be back!

    We both ordered the special, chilean sea bass, and it did not disappoint. So light and juicy. The bass was served over rice pilaf and asparagus. Every bite was heaven. Service, as always, is so friendly and welcoming.

    I was so excited about returning to the Swiss Chalet. However my food was not good. My steak for 38 dollars was chewy and hard. Not a good way to eat steak. They did take it off the bill which I appreciated but I was told it was because I ordered a steak that was medium well done and that’s why it was chewy and hard. That is not a good excuse and puts the blame on the customer. Please improve this.

    We routinely stop here when returning from mountain outings or skiing. Just recently stopped for lunch. It's under new management and quite honestly we miss the old ambience. I guess the new owners are trying for an Italian theme, but we couldn't get over the new touches they're putting in place. The food and service were the same excellent quality, though. And we were told some of the former staff are still onboard. Good call. We'll stop again just to see how the "remodeling" is going.

    From the moment my wife and I walked through the door we were greeted warmly. Kind service throughout the meal was a delight, we felt truly cared for. The food was amazing and with a small menu, you know what they are offering will be done right. All sorts of European classics, some with a twist, it was a perfect dinner for two. we split a bottle of wine, had a fondue appetizer, and finished with schnitzel and goulash entrees. We will most definitely go back anytime we are in Woodland park.

    Most of the food was excellent. The bass, salmon and lamb chops were great. Kalamata salad great. The drinks were good. The schnitzel was dry and the gravy was not a good match. The traditional German brown gravy with mushrooms would have been much better. Service and ambience are great!

    Amazing atmosphere and even better cuisine. This has become our favorite restaurant in Woodland park and one of the best we have been to in Colorado. The staff are also very friendly. Highly recommended.

    This was our 2nd time to visit the Swiss Chalet and it was probably better than the first. We ordered the filet and chilean sea bass and both were perfect. Jason was our serve and perhaps more interesting was engaging with him as a sommelier. His experiences and expertise were facinating and his recommendations did not miss. It was also nice to chat with Roberto, the chef, again. He is very personable and enjoys sharing about the restaurant and the different dishes. Again - it was an overall memorable and relaxing evening. What a treat to have such a place just minutes from home!

    Our server was excellent…attentive, patient, friendly. Our water glasses rarely got below 1/2 full before he refilled them. The schnitzel was good, but not outstanding. The apple strudel was also good with tart apples.

    My husband and I tried The Swiss Chalet tonight for dinner and we could not be more impressed!!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server James was TOP NOTCH!!! He started by recommending a beer for my husband and a glass of wine for me that was delicious. He was attentive and we never wanted for anything. The food was phenomenal….we ordered the Onion soup for a starter, my husband ordered the Filet Mignon and I ordered the Kasespatzle (which I literally said “mmmmmn” every bite). We finished up with the Crème Brûlée which was so creamy and absolutely the best we’ve ever had!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Five Stars for our experience and the outstanding food! We definitely look forward to going back and trying some of the Chefs other awesome creations! If you haven’t had a chance to drop in and try it yourself, you’re missing out!!!

    We had visited this 25 years ago on our first anniversary. I know it is now under new management and the menu is very different. However, we had a great time. It was so quiet and intimate. We had the gambas (the sauce was so good), topinambur (had goat cheese on it), we had a Manhattan and a mule. Both made very well and refreshing. Then we had freshly baked bread with rosemary butter (yum). With our dinner we had a bottle of wine (which we didn't think we would finish, but it was so good) The Lamb Lollipops were delicious as well a the vegetables with it. My filet mignon was mouth-in-your mouth goodness. Since everything was so elevated the pommel puree was ok. Service was prompt, but our waiter was new and didn't give us all the info we would've liked to have. He wasn't every familiar with the menu or drinks, etc. he had to keep asking someone. *sigh He was very nice and the visit was still excellent! Oh, yea we had the nerve to order chocolate fondue. Absolutely perfect way to end the meal. It was light, creamy and soothing. We ate almost all of it. It was very very good and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

    I booked this for my wife and I’s anniversary. Was in contact with the owner to see what they could do for us. They booked us at the sweetheart table and even went out of their way to pick us up a bottle of sparkling cider because we don’t drink and they don’t carry non alcoholic drinks. When the check came, it showed they didn’t even charge us for the bottle. That spoke words to us. Not only was the service great, the food was excellent! We will definitely be back!
