About Swine Southern Table & Bar
With a man cave feel and in-house smoker that can be smelled from a block away, Swine has received a warm welcome to the Coral Gables neighborhood. Maintaining the same top-notch techniques and standards of hospitality as its sister restaurant, Swine offers a constantly evolving food and beverage menu that work together to create the perfect Southern meal in a down-home, feel good environment. “From the moment you walk in the door, you are completely transported out of Miami,” 50 Eggs, Inc. CEO/Founder John Kunkel says. “Swine provides a full dining experience with an interior that reflects the refinement of the South.” It feels barn-like because it is in fact made from reclaimed wood of an actual barn in South Carolina. Housed inside is the state-of-the-art smoker and wood-fired grills, adding a signature flavor and level of authenticity unique to the restaurant.

Swine Southern Table & Bar Ratings and Reviews
For what they charge the quality of the food does not match the prices. The 3 strips of brisket for $32 was fatty throughout, the cornbread dry and not fresh, burger small for $18, and potatoes wedges way over fried. The best part of the meal was the kale salad.
As a long time Customer (since when originally opened) a South Florida native, to include Coral Gables where Swine is located. It is with total disappointment that I must rate my experience at Swine as mediocre at best and I'm being kind !
First of all as I walked in I saw that the front windows and doors were very dirty ! as we waited at the front podium, took a while till noticed (let me add the place was empty, just 3-4 couples eating)I noticed that the lack of cleanliness was not isolated to the first impression walking in at the front door.
In addition , many of the vinyl back and seat cushions in the booths had huge signs of wear , you could see under the rips the actual yellow foam on most !! My general impression as I walked in was looks and smells dirty, and somewhat rundown, I understand that its not a brand new restaurant, but management is responsible for what I have mentioned, I suggest that you hire an independent cleaning crew that comes in and cleans every night after closing !!!!
Floor felt greasy, as did the tables, even the glasses were full of smudges , to where my wife was mentioning it to the busboy, and he acknowledged and continue to select several different glasses from the tables near by ours ( most tables were empty) until he found two for us.
Menus had food stains throughout, actually I will stop now, without mentioning a few other unacceptable similar unclean areas, because I would like to move to service, as follows, slow, slow, slow, slow, the young lack of experienced server was trying her best to be nice, and she was, however bottom line she just is not a professional server, which is expected at this price level & class of restaurant as Swine is suppose to be.
Hope management really cares and takes my sincere feedback and does something about this.
After a really disastrous visit a few months back we decided to give this place a second chance on Dec 31,2017. What a disaster. As before the portions were minute, and if this wasn’t enough the ribs that my wife order and the brisket were cold. After writing a review on the restaurant web site, I was contacted by the manager that wanted more details, but no apology. Please save your money and aggravation and go somewhere else. To many nice places in the Gables to waste your money here
Outstanding food, cocktails and service. We both had the Porchetta, which was delicious, but very rich. Given the deliciousness, my recommendation would be to split this entree between tow people, but definitely have it at least once. Yum! The Swine-tucky Mule cocktail was also fabulous.
I ordered the brisket and a side of cornbread. The brisket is $32 and all you get is 3 slices of cold brisket with no sides. The cornbread was not fresh, it tasted like it was a couple days old. I had a horrible experience as i was very exxited to have dinner there
We’ve been to this restaurant a dozen times or so - so we are probably due for poor service. Waiter appeared to be new. Didn’t know the menu. Food took 45 minutes. Don’t really think he knew how to put in the order as other tables were served around us. Once we asked him about our order food game in a timely manner. He never revisited the table. Never brought ketchup/mayo we ask for. I just think he was overwhelmed. Food is good. Nice place. Let’s see next time if this is just a “blip” - i suspect it was.
I walk in and ask for table the hostess said 30
Min.i went on open table and made a resv for 6mi after my arrival. This told me that something was going on. Pancakes and grits n eggs 25 min in a half full resturant. I ordered over medium and I think my order got lost because they tried to give me over medium eggs over scrambled eggs.
Food was good but if I return, I would make sure to have a different server. We dined at the opening for brunch, and the restaurant was not very busy, but our waiter was so spacey and forgetful, it became almost comical. We had to repeat requests for meal and drink items several times, and ended up never receiving all the food we ordered.
The draft beer was out, they were out of ginger beer and the water glasses had a funky aroma to them. Aside from that, the food was amazing, as it always is. Fantastic brisket and ribs. The chicken was a little dry but awesome entertaining friends from out of town at BBQ in Miami.
