AWESOME!!! My lady loved it! She felt very special! Thank you!
Went for my anniversary for desserts and the pastry chef himself brought them out to our table. They also brought champagne out to out table, on the house. Felt very well taken care of!
My family and I visit often for Sunday brunch. It is always delicious, and the service is always wonderful!
It seemed the food was a little overpriced. Although good, and pretty unique, it’s still pricier than other unique restaurants with good food.
They completely forgot about my parents celebration, didn’t give them the champagne or desserts I had pre-ordered for their anniversary.
The food was delicious. The service was great (although we had a few people drop off our food that did not seem to know how to explain it that well). Our main server was very nice and very attentive. My only complaint is the table next to us was EXTREMELY loud and it was very disruptive. We did mention this to the servers and the hostess and we felt like someone should have asked the table to quiet down. Several other tables complained as well. It made the experience a little disappointing. I love this restaurant and always take out of town guests. I will continue based on all other qualities. Overall it was a very good experience. I highly recommend desserts!
Swift's attic was great. We arrived early on purpose so we could enjoy some drinks at the bar. It was great way to get a feel for the place. There was definitely an energy...Swift's Attic just had a cool feel to it. And the food lived up to the atmosphere. The whole staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed. We'll be going back soon.
I LOVE Swift’s Attic. One of my favorite places for lunch and weekend brunch. They always have good cocktail specials, and they have the best burger in town! Put a fried egg on the burger- you won’t be sorry!
We were extremely disappointed in our Valentine's Day dinner with Swift's Attic. We've been there multiple times and have always enjoyed their incredible food, service and ambiance. It's been at the top of our list. Our dinner was a birthday gift from a family member; we were so excited to go out on the town as it's not something we do often. We were not aware of the fixed menu but decided we'd give it a shot. Our waiter BARELY INTERACTED WITH US. He didn't check on us, plates were not cleared and he seemed overwhelmed/stressed. I've worked in the service industry before; I understand having a rough evening. However, for $60 a head, not including drinks, and an automatic 20% tip, it was abysmal. The food was cold, lacking taste and the portions were absurd. We're both athletes, my boyfriend is a big guy and we are conscientious about portions. Needless to say, we were hungry when we left. Super disappointing. Might not go back for a while if ever as this truly soured our Valentine's date experience.
Just didn't really feel like a good value for the quality , totally understand the small plate thing .
Really not super exited about the set menu items we chose.
Great food and service
The food was absolutely incredible, the service was top notch, and the ambience was lovely! Made for a fantastic night out.
Great food, interesting, veggie friendly. Don't miss the Brussels sprouts.
I love the atmosphere and food. I have already recommended Swift’s Attic to several people.
Great service, amazing food, especially for the price. Will be back soon.
My all-time favorite, ever...Jarred rocks. Don't change a thing.
Nice choice of small plates, very tasteful, and excellent wine list.
Fantastic food with a very attentive wait staff and a great ambience.
Food was great and served in a well paced way. It was a busy night and they had a couple of large groups there, so it was hard to have a normal conversation, but being Saturday night in downtown Austin, it’s to be expected. Service was awesome. We’ll be back, though we may try a slower night.
Great experience overall, creative cuisine delicious cocktails and a cool atmosphere
My girlfriend and I cam here for our anniversary and it was phenomenal. great take on small plates and an incredible wine menu. the staff was great - super knowledgeable on the wines and provided some guidance, though not pushy, on certain plates to have. a little pricey, but this was hands down the best meal I've had in Austin to date
Came in with the wife this weekend for a nice dinner before I started a new job. This was our fourth or fifth visit to Swift’s, and by far the most memorable. We both work in the Service industry, and when we go out to eat we go for the gusto. No complaints on any of the food whatsoever. Had the Sweet Pots, Brussels Sprouts, Corn Fritters, Pork Cheek, Snapper, and the Peanut Butter Jelly Time dessert. Would recommend every single one of those dishes!
Great date night spot. Food was great - small plates for sharing allowed us to explore the menu together. Great drinks and service too. Definitely recommend and we’ll go back.
Some food choices were great, I loved how it was tapas style. We tried a variety of dishes and some were too out there, others were delicious. We loved our waiter Kat, and overall it was a positive experience
Swift’s Attic’s team truly went above and beyond in comped items and service for an hour delayed reservation for a birthday dinner celebration. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I was beyond impressed. The food, which was excellent, surprisingly played second fiddle to the service itself. Been before, and will continue to give complete recommendation for this place.
Swift’s atic was a wonderful experience. It was my husband’s birthday and it was warm and delish. Our server was so awesome! Sweet and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was decent, but overpriced for what it was.
We ordered the Red Snapper and Flank Steak (their #1 seller). The snapper was good, nothing noteworthy, but the flank steak was very tough (so much so that my wife and I both accidently scraped our plates loudly trying to cut into it) and sitting on relatively boring large balls of fried rice. Not bad, just not $25/plate worth it.
An overall underwhelming experience. Would not return or recommend.
Bf and I rang in the New Year at Swift's Attic (one of the few restaurants in dt Austin that still had reservations available the day of). We partook of the prix fixe menu that they were serving from 10 PM until midnight and it was outstanding. My favorite dish was the Southwestern inspired pozole with clams that was my first course selection - I found it inventive with enough of the homecooking touches I associate with my time in New Mexico. The bf tended more towards the vegetarian options (rutabaga tagliatelle and beet salad) and loved it. There were also some fun and creative cocktail options to choose from on the drink menu. My only complaint is service leaves something to be desired - our waiter was friendly but wasn't really around as he was too busy tending to a rather troublesome table next to us. However, I thought this meal was one of the best I've had in Texas (though not necessarily best in the US), which overrides any service issues we may have had.
Really enjoyed their Prix Fix menu. Everything was very creative. My only complaint was I did not realize the salmon was going to be practically raw. We had a great time and we will definitely be back. Next time I'll ask about any items that are not fully described.
The service is impeccable and atmosphere is so cozy. The tasting menu is varied and delightful; enough but not too much food.
I love the bathroom sinks.
My mother and I had a wonderful waitress who was attentive and very sweet. Everyone who brought a dish out was able to explain what was in the dish with confidence and it made the experience wonderful for my mom!
I will definitely go back!
Excellent food. We ordered 4 small plates to try different options, all hit the mark. The rise and shine dessert was a home run, unique and delicious. If I lived in Austin, I would be a regular here.
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey by my standards but worth it for a special occasion.
Swift’s is a hidden gem on a Congress above the always classic Elephant Room jazz club.
We went there for brunch. The food was really very good. The service was friendly, efficient but not rushed, despite the restaurant being busy. Our waiter took the time to explain the menu and the specials. We would definitely return!
Our server took care of us so well! He was definitely on point 👍🏼
Went with my family after a downtown event. My 12-yr olds aren’t the most adventurous eaters, but they are willing to try things if prompted. They took to the ‘family-style, Small-plate’ concept like champs.
We ordered 1 item from the “snack” list, and then 4 plates, followed by 2 desserts. The stars of the show was the Brussels Sprouts and the Pork Cheek. The also-ran was the pork belly, which was tasty and good, but not as elevated as the rest of the plates.
Of the 2 desserts we shared, the sweet potato pot-du-creme was the winner.
The experience was great! The creative menu and wait staff were impeccable!! We will definitely be back!
One of my favorite brunch spots. The mimosa special is unrivaled in downtown Austin and the food is great.
Loved the food and service, really awesome variety and the quail was amazing
