Plates are small and meant to be shared which is great because you get to try a lot of items. Standouts for me were the Pork Cheeks and Brussel Sprouts. I was told the Goat and Squid Fries were delicious, but those are not items I enjoy. I will definitely return to try some of the items I didn't get the first time.
Swift’s is always a delight. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing and takes me out of my normal food and tastes and I experience something new. Brunch is my favorite! We tried the starters special (see photo) and wow! I’ve had dinner, brunch & dessert and everything is great! The atmosphere is super cool too.
This was a really fun date night venue. We arrived before our reservation but were seated promptly after a quick time at the bar. The drink menu was long with lots of different options. Our waiter was very helpful in directing us to dishes that suited our vegan dietary restriction. Overall the food was fun (shishito peppers were amazing). We found our dishes from the main vegetable section (pad thai and sweet potato curry) did not complement each other well...the flavors seemed to clash. We would have appreciated direction as to what paired well together.
We love the small plates menu that lends itself to courses. Our favorites were the Sweet Pots and The Scallops. Good menu selection including cocktails. Although our server and the staff were very attentive, we felt rushed at times. One staff member came to remove a plate well before we were finished eating.
Early lunch, reservation, hostess seated us at a table looking into bar service area (dirty rags, etc.) so we asked to be moved, to her irritation. She allowed us to have our choice of tables in the thus-far empty restaurant, which did proceed to quickly fill. Waitstaff was good, lunch was good, noise level the usual Austin deafening roar. The interior of the place is VERY interior, no outside views at all. It does feel like a closed-in attic. If you are at all claustrophobic, don't go here.
The staff at Swift’s Attic was absolutely amazing! We were celebrating a huge accomplishment and they made sure our dinner matched the moment! Champagne and lots of attention!!!! Great food recommendations and everything was indeed delicious! Would come back again and again!
Swift's Attic staff put together a fantastic Anniversary package for us. Be prepared to eat a handful of unique, memorable, and filling dishes. Candlelit tables is available although the seating is close and volume is moderate. But the real stars were the staff, attentive and creative in their own roles. A casual yet innovative dining boutique with superior table-side service!
The food was creative and unique and certain recipes - such as the Brussels sprouts or the flank steak - were incredible, but skip the quail. Our server was excellent initially but then disappeared for the second half and didn't do anything for the birthday we were celebrating and mentioned during the dinner. Overall it was a nice experience but a little pricey for what we had!
We had a really good bottle of wine. The team was really nice to let us have a drink at the bar and even offered to us a beet salad that someone ordered but didn't take. It was delicious, the fish was delicious...the dessert too ! Really great evening...i will be back!
The location, ambience is great! The service was inconsistent, table to table. Mimosas are $1 and bottomless for some tables. Our waitress, Kevin was not attentive, did not fill our coffee, mimosa and was just unhappy! The food was okay. Portions were good. Rest of the staff, were good.
Really great atmosphere. Was there for a bday, and let them know that we were there for a special occasion but it was ever acknowledged by waitress. Not a big deal but don’t expect them to do anything special. Food was amazing except for the pad Thai. Way to much citrus, but everything else was great. Atmosphere was perfect for a date night or large group. Drinks were well made. Waitress and service was friendly, but nothing memorable. All in all a very nice experience.
Food is amazing. Atmosphere is amazing. Just wish the waitress was a little more excited about the food, especially when you spend $22 on two scallops (literally) and our bill was over $250 -- which we didn't mind, of course, or we wouldn't have ordered everything we did, just would have been nice if the waitress was more into the food and the great quality everything was. She acted like she was serving us artichoke dip at cheddars :)
Amazing food and amazing cocktails! We loved this spot and can't wait to go back. Every dish we ordered was delicious - we shared all our plates. They have very cool cocktails that involve the 'mixers' being frozen into an ice cube and they pour the shot of alcohol over the top. As the ice cube melts the flavours of the drink change. Very cool and unique idea!
The ambience was fantastic, service was great. The food was tasty, but the portion sizes were very confusing. Some menu items were tiny (2 small scallops, three small pieces of squid), but some were medium sized....thing is u didn't know until the plate arrived. Kinda pricy for the amount of food, we went across the street to Frank's afterwards and got a giant pretzel.
The food was terrific. The Lindacello cocktail is one of my favorites I've had in a while. It's just so loud and the seating is to cramped dorkier style. I wish restaurants would give more information about atmosphere and seating. I'd eat here again but would request a more private seating if available.
