Waiter was forgetful and slow. Food was just ok
The food was delicious. The beet salad was huge , had a variety of beets and hearts of palm. The small plate scallops only had two large scallops with some Brussel sprouts and bacon which was plenty after the salad. The flourless chocolate torte was amazing. My husband ordered the escargot which he liked and the half plate of red fish which was delicious and a good portion. The atmosphere is classy. There was a musician playing guitar as you walked in. Our only complaint is that the waiter wasn’t at all friendly and didn’t share the evening menu specials.
We enjoyed the guitar music & could still carry on a conversation. Thank-you for softening the volume.
my small shrimp plate was excellent but my main fish dish was over salted. Always worth a visit but with drinks $155 for two.
A go-to favorite, especially for locals who prefer going somewhere that accepts reservations, especially during tourist season. Food and service always excellent.
An outstanding meal, including both small plates and entrees. Blackened redfish cooked to perfection as was the small plate of oven roasted vegetables.
Wonderful food. Service was hit and miss from our server. Noise level made our planned quiet dinner impossible. All in all a good dinner, but it could have been better.
This is the best dining experience in Sanibel! I recommend the fish stew and grilled scallops for entrees nd the key lime and chocolate bread pudding for dessert!
We love the guitar music but we were seated in front of the speaker on the counter by kitchen & had to request for volume to be turned down. The 6 of us had to shout to hear each other.
Our salads arrived just minutes after our cocktails, allowing us no time to enjoy them. The scallop entree was smothered in too many strong flavors (bacon and Brussels sprouts) obscuring their natural sweetness. The grilled octopus was okay, but was served on a tough purple tortilla. An uninspired, disappointing meal.
