I ate here years ago and it was good,, Going tonight and will let you know..
A group of friends met for lunch on Thursday, August 10. The service was wonderful and the waitress had no problem giving separate checks to this group of seven. Everyone was happy with their food. I ordered the "double decker" quiche...it was delicious and HUGE! I took half of it home for another meal. I would definitely dine here again.
Outstanding service by the waiter, Andre, would hazard to say one of the best servers that we have had at any restaurant.
Nice date dinner. ! Food and atmosphere great.
Everyone's meal had no flavor except for one person who ordered an omelet. Very disappointing
Great food and service. Highly recommend the Asian nachos!
We had calamari, fish & chips and crab cakes. All very good. Looked like wait-staff was shorthanded, but our waitress did a good job anyway.
The food and mixed drinks are great. Though a two story location, it seemed a little tight in the main dining area the night we were there. It's a busy location but noise is light enough to hold a conversation. The recommendations from the server were spot on. Great place to meet and catch up with friends.
Great ambience!
We always enjoy Sweet Lorraine's and you didn't disappoint for my dad's 85th Birthday or, any other occasion! Excellent service. Thank you for allowing us to bring in our own cake!
This is one of our favorite local dining establishments that never disappoints. Excellent entree salads, plus standard fare (focaccia bread with dip, chocolate truffles) always please.
The enticement of "buy one entree, get one free" brings us back to Sweet Lorraine's again and again. Plus, we received excellent service from our young waitress.
We will be back!
The food went beyond my expectations, I wish I had found the place earlier
everything I ordered was great... Keep up the good work!!!!
Made reservation for Sunday 6:30 pm. Didn't have to wait long, but it was too busy and too loud. My food was probably hurriedly put together, and toast underneath the shrimp dish almost burned. We have been there mid week around 5:00, which was nice because it wasn't so busy. We won't go there again Sunday evening. Appreciated the wait staff who were efficient, helpful and friendly, as usual.
Excellent food, very attentive waitress, decent drink size.
The menu has interesting options and the food is always well prepared. But the last two dining experiences there have been painfully slow. Not only did it take our table of 4 two hours to have lunch but during the long wait between the appetizer and main course we did not see our waitress once to have drinks refilled. It is very annoying to see wait staff standing around but you can't flag anyone down to refill your drink. I keep saying that I won't go back because of the service but the food is great.
Always delicious food! Always great service!
Booth are not comfortable for plus size people. While sitting at the table, I felt like I was in the way and had to keep ducking.
A friend and I split two flat bread pizzas and they were both delicious. We ordered the house Pinot Grigio, which was fine, but it was $8.50 a glass! I would have ordered a different brand had I known the price for the house wine was exactly the same as many other brands on the wine list.
They don't really seem to take reservations. I was put on the list just as everyone else was that walked in even though I had a confirmed reservation. Wait was about 15-20 minutes.
Due to a picky member of my party, I selected Sweet Lorraine's because of the great variety and wonderfully unique combinations. All were super pleased with their meals. I had the Creole Chicken and Shrimp and the Russian Cheesecake. Fantastic layers of flavors all the way through -- the leftovers were equally amazing the next day! The Russian Cheesecake made my tastebuds dance! Our service started out VERY slowly even though most of the room was empty at the time; service levels eventually picked up. Our waitress, Anisha, was pleasant and knowledgeable and helpful.
Spending time with a friend to uplift his spirit, we found Sweet Lorraine's to be the perfect place. Our server Shann was the best ever. She offered excellent suggestions and attend to our every need. Her service was beyond compare. To top it all off, we had the awesome and enlightening opportunity to talk with Lorraine (business owner). Her sharing of her family background and how Sweet Lorraine's came to be was awesome. We felt as if we were the only one's there. :-)
Enticing drink menu. Tried the "renowned" lobster, macaroni and cheese. It was good. When it arrived, there was no bacon so I asked for the bacon on the side. When it arrived, was all fat. Needless to say, I didn't eat the bacon. The service was too slow. Waitress delivered food and disappeared. Never refilled our water, so I drank from another water glass on our table.
No one checked on us, came by to see how things were. Fortunately, the $11 macaroni and cheese. Did not consider that to be reasonably priced. The carpet was dingy. Won't return.
We used to frequent this restaurant often. But the food quality has continued to erode, and was very bad this last visit.
As usual this restaurant located super close to my house was delicious. Always good food and service.
We routinely go to Sweets Lorraine's because the menu and service are consistently good.
We always enjoy the focaccia with the dip, the salads are fresh, the soups are
seasonal and tasty. Sweet Lorraine's caters to our need for lighter fare as we are inclined to eat
soup/entree salads instead of heavier meals.
Sweet Lorraine's remains one of our local favorites!
My food was cold and my cheese was not melted !!! When I didn't complain at the beginning .. The manager came over and spoke to as if I was a child and told me next to speak up and complain !!! I was appalled that a manager would speak to me that way !! The server at our table was excellent but the manager ruined my guest's birthday celebration !!!
We eat a full range of foods at home, so going out we want something we don't already make at home. We know we will find something with a twist here. It can be a touch price, but always visually pleasing and good.
Always a nice ambiance, reliably good food, terrific servers.
Good food, nice ambiance, interesting menu. I've enjoyed coming here for years.
Our guitar playing server inquired as to any previous visit. He mentioned that there was all kinds of music equipment upstairs. That lead to our discussion when Jonathan Round did his interpretation of The Rolling Stones song " Sympathy For The Devil" and how it scared the audience. He enjoyed hearing the story and wished that other patrons would convey stories from the day.
We have been to Sweet Lorraines many times and have never been disappointed.
My ladies group of 10 had a great time at Sweet Lorraine's restaurant. The environment was very upbeat, colorful and accommodating for our wild and crazy personalities. The menu selections were great as many of us are very health conscious and prefer vegetarian food. The weight staff was very nice and attended to our needs in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable for the style of food choices. The portions are plentiful and I love the variety of choices. We will definitely visit this location again. I just love the warm but funky decor!!!
Always a nice selection of eclectic offerings and some regulars (burgers, salads, etc.) Unexpectedly crowded for a Tuesday afternoon, so service a bit slow but friendly as usual.
Great brunch menu options. Large portions. Fun environment.
Interesting brunch menu
We used coupon special: buy one entree, get 2nd entree free (up to $20.00 value). What a bargain!
This is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants and has never disappointed.
We love the focaccia bread with dip, our entrees were tasty, and the chocolate that comes with
the check always hits the spot. Plus, waitress was pleasant and attentive.
Food was very good but service suffered.
10 minutes after 1st party was seated before water was offered to her. Waiter Andre took verbal order, but when cocktail order was specific he found a pen and requested all be repeated. Martini ordered up, came on rocks, waiter never noticed. Sent back, 10 minutes for replacement. Seriously debated leaving at that point, but he was friendly and we stayed for known good food.
Avoid this place if you have anything else planned for the evening, but enjoy the good food if you don't mind waiting. For everything.
Joined family here for breakfast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Ambience comfortable.
Sweet Lorraine's is just a terrific place. Great food, service and ambiance !!! My only complaint is that it is quite noisy.
Did not honor our reservations. Claimed that we made them while waiting in line even though we made them earlier in the day. I wouldn't bother making reservations at this place.
Everything was fabulous
Our waitress was great
The food was wonderful
