Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint
Great food, service and fun. Moving here from New Jersey.
The Juke Joint was an amazing experience. A perfect place for a classy date. Great music, ambience, service and food. I wish my drink was a little stronger, but I still had a great time.
This is our 2nd visit here, we came as a family in 2014 and enjoyed it so much we came again. We love live music so this was the place to be for those soulful ears. Nice food, music and great atmosphere who could ask for anything else. Good for all ages. We liked it so much were back again tonight.
The music, food and service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back.
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We only got to hear two songs from the band because our reservation was at 8:45.
It was our first time at the restaurant. Was unaware there would be live music but it was a great surprise. The entertainment was top notch and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend going there for your birthday for a musical serenade!! If not your birthday-it’s still an amazing treat!
We had the wonderful opportunity to meet one of the owners. He shared his story with us and gave my Baby Girl who is a senior in college some pearls of wisdom.
I would have to say that the food and entertainment was great! However Alexander needed more training on how too give great customer service. Hardly eye contact to make sure everything was fine. Didn't keep table clear. The manager cleared it for us. I was hoping for chick fil a service. 5 star.
Our server seem to struggle with time management. She didn’t even introduce herself or tell us that we would get charged a $5 fee for the band. I asked her to take a pic of us, as we were celebrating a graduation, but she never came back to take our picture.
Our food was cold. It took 10 minutes for everyone in my party to receive their plate. My plate looked like the sauce spilled out of it im comparison to my friend who ordered the same thing. The waitress never came back to check on us or to see if we were satisfied. Then she included 20% gratuity opposed to adhering to the 18% listed on the menu. She brought us all separate checks without asking if that’s what we wanted. This experience was sub-par. I was disappointed.
Amazing food and music! I highly recommend the fried chicken! I will be going back in February.
The restaurant atmosphere was amazing. I loved the live band here! Definitely a place to go to have a good time, hang out with the girls, get a good meal, or if you’re looking for a good time with a low key vibe on the weekdays. They have a dance floor and very unique drinks. My food was overall good but could’ve been hotter.
The food was alright. The drinks were good. The ambiance made the experience with the live band and wonderful music.
No other words needed
Pure excellence! Renee the bartender was wonderful. Her customer service was awesome!
We reserved for 18 I prepaid $200 for 12 via phone and online reserved 6 additional seats. When we got there at 7:30 our reservations were for 8pm we didn’t seat until 8:15 and then they acted as if I only had reserved for party of 12 the security followed us around the manager was very rude I paid of 700 for bad service we didn’t receive 1 refill on our drinks our food came out super later than the rest of party but after we paid which they had to think we would pay because it was younger crowd they begin to say do you need anything else and come back I loved the music it was my birthday and I just felt unease with whole out come
The food was tasty but.... it took a long time to come out. My guest shrimp and grits were steaming hot and my chicken, greens and Mac cheese were lukewarm.
Our server was pleasant and checked on us. The band was enjoyable.
Cool place. If your in Atlanta and get a chance to go. You go. Simple as that.
Food was great ! Music was lovely . The shrimp and grits are amazing ! Music was good .
Food was great. Server made great recommendation. Entertainment was fun!
Enjoyed the bad that was performing on Sunday 11/25/18!
Delicious fried chicken, great ambiance, but definitely make a reservation ahead of time!
Hostess /Servers /Food /entertainment all very professional yet warm. Even the person cleaning the tables and bringing the food made up feel welcome this was our first visit. It was our 40th year wedding anniversary. Very nice!
Everything was excellent. The live band, food, & service
Awesome way to celebrate the birthdays of my loved ones!!
The food was delicious way more than enough. I had the fried chicken, greens and macaroni and cheese. The waitress Asia was very accommodating after I asked to be moved to another table because the guests besides us were very loud. She brought me out a birthday dessert after I told her I was very disappointed the pecan pie was off the menu. The music was great! This was an exceptional spot to start my birthday/ anniversary weekend.
Dinner for 2, drinks and tip was around $150. Meals and drinks were pricy. Would have expected a better dining experience for the price. Entertainment was good and wait staff was exceptional. Menu options limited.
Great place to visit while in Atlanta! Went with two friends and we stayed 2.5 hours! Live music was great, food was great, drinks were fantastic (try anything with the strawberry moonshine), and server did not rush us! Would definitely come back
We were in Atlanta for a Girl Trip. The Ga Juke Joint was an unexpected gem for us. Regina Troupe was the live entertainment for the night. We absolutely enjoyed her sultry sounds. The service was superb and the food was oh so Yummy and good for the tummy.
Great food, great service
Took my parents for a birthday dinner. The food was great per usual. I had the smothered pork chop, yummy! The Atlanta Soul Band was awesome entertainment! Will definitely be back :)
Eating a great southern dinner with enjoyable music was a wonderful experience while visiting Atlanta. Amazing fried chicken!
The food was excellent and different the service was fast and friendly. The live music left a little more to be desired but overall it was very nice
I really loved this restaurant. The Band Atlanta Soul was phenomenal.
Band was excellent. Server disappeared several times very slow on refills and drink orders. Misinformed on valet services dates of service availability.
Music was great. Several in our party had food quality issues (overdone salmon, cold mac & cheese). Our server was nice and friendly, but she would disappear for long periods of time and was not pleased we asked for separate tabs.
Great experience with my business team. Excellent service and great first impression for out of town team members.
Front desk person was RUDE , food was terrible and drinks were weak !!
My wife loved the southern style meal from Sweet Georgia’s. They had a live band playing and the lady singing made it her duty to make sure she sung my wife happy birthday. The ambience was beautiful and jazzy and it would be perfect for a date night in the gorgeous city of atlanta. It’s the type of place where the music is beautiful and you can leave in a good mood not to mention the endless mimosas on Sunday we’re really endless and delicious.
Great food and live music! So relaxing and fun! One of my favorite spots, I will define reccommend
