The food was delicious, especially the dessert! Everything also came out really quickly and the service was overall great! The live entertainment was fantastic and fit the space well. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

I’m not sure $10 up charge for entertainment is appropriate. I think you chose to be a restaurant with live music, and that’s your selling point!! Me paying for your selling point is ridiculous. Food was okay. Mac n cheese too smoky- my opinion! Service was good.

Thank goodness the food was good, because the service was horrible. We arrived at 6:30 pm and did not get out of the restaurant until 9pm. We ordered food and drink at the same time and had to wait at least 15 minutes to get our beverages. We only ordered water and sweet tea and a bottled beer. The temperature inside the restaurant was quite warm, so we drank our beverages quite fast and could not find the server to get more. When we approached the bar with the empty water pitcher, the bar tender was not very friendly and the manger, who was standing close by, did not seem bothered in the least that we had to come up and ask for more water. Food finally arrived, however one person in our party did not get his food until we were all finished. When it was time to pay, we asked for separate checks as we were on a work trip. One person in our party received a check with food she did not purchase and it took many tries for her to receive the correct one. My check was correct, but when I received the receipt to sign, the amount was double what my check was. At this point I was incredibly frustrated and approached the manager stating how the service had been horrible and I was charged incorrectly. Not once did the manager apologize for the service nor the error with my charge. Luckily, the food was tasty. Lastly, there is a $5 entertainment fee. There was entertainment, however, mediocre at best.

Awesome food and great music! The only issue is they will not split checks for groups of 6 or more and only allow for use of three credit cards.

Sweet Georgia Juke Joint is a place that our family come to celebrate birthdays and our parents anniversary. Our is decreased now but we went to celebrate our Father’s birthday because we have fond memories here. Again, we had an amazing time and shout out to Ty who was our server for the evening! Great service all around.

We had out of town guest, so this was there first time! Had a ball, the food was excellent. Fried chicken, collard greens, sweet potatoes. The peach glaze salmon, yum. The band was fantastic, we even danced. Will definitely go back!

We had a great evening with live R&B and delicious soul food! The food was amazing and unique. Very sweet server! Incredible live music to enjoy!

It’s so much to be said about this restaurant, but everything was amazing from the food to the music the performers and the ambience. I definitely enjoyed my night there and all was well. I had the fried chicken with the mac & cheese and collard greens and it was so seasoned and good. My husband had the grill trout with the green beans and mac & cheese and he loved it. He also had the moonshine which comes in different flavors but definitely the Ms. Celey’s was delicious. This is my fifth time being here and it’s a must go if you’re in Atlanta area.
