Sweet Auburn Seafood
Great food and atmosphere. The server did not really smile and the food took about 25 mins. Overall, everything was great!
Great atmosphere, service , good music and delicious food! We'll be back!
I was there for a friend’s send off joining a party of about 40 people. For the short time there I really enjoyed the ambiance and the service. It was near closing so I ordered the Seafood Nachos to go. I was really pleased when I arrived home. I topped the nachos with the seafood, zapped the cheese sauce and demolished the dish! It was superb, satisfying and so refreshing!! I plan to bring my husband the next time since I didn’t share my nachos!
Wonderful food and customer service. Made reservations for brunch food and drinks were excellent
This was my first time - was very excited based on what I had heard about the place... decided to order the crab cakes since the menu said it was lump crab meat. Definitely wasn't lump crab meet... shredded claw meat & fillers. Super disappointed. Mashed potatoes had more butter than potatoes. Turkey rib appetizer wasn't bad but only two ribs. Way overpriced for what it is... don't understand the hype.
I celebrated my husband’s birthday and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the service was top of the line, and the live entertainment were great. My husband can’t wait to come back.
Staff was friendly, the was good, the bartender was generous and our server great!
Always great service and food.
It was cool or whatever.
Food was very good, service was attentive. This was a fairly busy place on a Saturday evening. To accommodate the crowd, tables were pushed closer together than normal, leaving little room for servers or other diners to walk without bumping into other diners.
We ordered appetizers, soup/salad, and entrees. The appetizers and soup/salad all came out at the same time. Therefore soup was cold before the appetizers were finished.
However the entrees were served at an appropriate time following the clearing of dishes from first two courses.
Seafood entrees were tasty and served at appropriate temperature. Grilled shrimp and stuffed flounder. Very good.
Desert was also quite good—peach cobbler with ice cream.
Our only real negative comment concerns the neighborhood within which this restaurant is located. Our Uber driver was unfamiliar with the exact location, therefore unknowingly dropped us off about a block from the restaurant. Several folks on the street saw this as their cue to be fairly aggressive in asking us for money as we walked to the restaurant. Upon finishing dinner and calling for another Uber, the hostess was helpful in suggesting that we not venture outside until our driver was there.
Overall a good dining experience but not a place we would visit again due to the neighborhood.
Bathroom was inconveniencing and the appetizers came out way too late.
Over priced. Urban chic ambience. They forgot to check my reservation in during my visit forgot about my bday request and reported me as a no show. Food ok .drinks suck and get over charged
The waitress was great, very attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. I would definitely recommend for the experience.
The food was great. Seasoned extremely well and the texture and freshness was outstanding. Only slightly disappointed by small serving size for the sides.
The food was amazing. A little crowded and the seating is very close. The live band was the best! The singer even pointed me out for singing along!
I had two glasses of wine and a crab cake appetizer. The peppers in the crab cake were undercooked, but I'd be willing to come back and try something else on the menu. Great service at the bar. Ask for Britney!
The manager is great and even remembered us from 2 weeks ago. The music is much more low key on Sundays so we enjoyed the experience.
The seafood was delicious and cocktails strong but the live jazz is what sold me. Definitely will visit again and bring a few friends
First time visiting this restaurant with my daughter and my husband. We really enjoyed our meal although I thought it was a bit overpriced.
Third time visiting Sweet Auburn and the experience was great as always. Pinto was phenomenal as well as the food and drinks. Can’t wait to visit again
Great restaurant for lunch, dinner, and brunch. They have menu items for your meat eaters, pescatarians, and vegetarians. They also have live music on Fri and a dj (and bottomless mimosas) on Sat.
My friend and I stopped by after looking at all the reviews. We weren’t greeted and seated right away. We stood around for about 7 minutes. The food was great but the location isn’t the best. Also the establishment could’ve been a little neater. Our waiter was great and the hostess was friendly.
10 out of 10 on the crab leg boil $40 at market price and they probably had almost 3 pounds on the plate. Chicken wing and calamari appetizers were spot on. Fresh not too salty. Ambiance is not why you go here; the food and service IS.
We got of to a rocky start - super slow and unfortunately unorgananized wine took forever and then we didn’t have glasses it just took too long - luckily everyone enjoyed their meal - came through in the end but guests shouldn’t have to rally the team for service.
Service was slow. Took 15 minutes for someone to realize we we sitting at the table. Out of menu items, plastic dishes, and server was not very complementary of the food on the menu. Last but not least my menu had sauce on the pages. Would not recommend for out of towners
The food was awesomeness! We went Saturday and doubled back again Sunday. Drinks were superb as well. Service was great. I highly recommend the gumbo, fried salmon, seafood omelet, and build our way waffle.
50 th Birthday
Love the vibe. The food was delicious! One of the partners Matt, was very professional and made our experience a nice one!
The hostess were very pleasant and welcoming upon entering the establishment. I have visited this restaurant several times in the past. The food was delicious, but this time I had a different experience. I made reservations this time for my birthday. I must say, the food was disappointing. For an appetizer, we order the seafood nachos. The nachos were too salty so they were sent back. As my entree, I ordered the crab cakes. I was very disappointed in the quality. They weren’t fresh and the ingredients seemed to be different than what I was use to.
Again the service was outstanding. Brittany was friendly and patience. My date was 40 minutes late and Brittany continually checked on me to make sure I'm ok. The food was delicious and plentiful. I look forward to my next visit!!!
Music was toooo loud but the food was great.
We loved it. Food was delicious and our server was very nice. Will definitely be returning.
The food was very good and the drinks were as well. The star of the evening was our waiter. He was so thorough and had a pleasant personality. It was an excellent dining experience.
Went for a business lunch. Great service and food! Loved the style and layout of the restaurant. Definitely a gem in Atlanta!
Spent about $60 for dinner , desert , and alcoholic beverage.
Attentive staff & beautiful live music!
My friend and I sat near the back by the window for a nice street view and we were still able to hear ourselves talk over the music.
Definitely going back😋
Sunday Brunch was good. Food and service were excellent. No complaints.
The waitress kept reminding us that we had a 2 hour window so we felt rushed. My reservation was at 9:15 I got there at 9:20
The food was amazing ambiance was great.
I would recommend to a friend but I hate that we felt rushed
We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to enjoy live music with dinner. I called a couple of days in advance and was told there would be a live band starting at 9 pm and that it was a great place to celebrate the occasion. Our reservation was at 9:15. Upon arrival, there was no band. We asked when would the band start and was told they "didn't think the band was coming tonight". We were highly disappointed but felt like it was too late to try to find somewhere else to go, so we stayed. The food was good, not really worth the price but I feel like the live music would've made it worth it. I don't think I'll return any time soon.
I’d go back. Just wasn’t amazing. Food was okay.
