   Sweet 27 is a rather unusual restaurant. When walking in the door, ambience wasn't very inviting. The space was dim and rather loud. However the host was convincing so my party decided to give Jamaican/Indian fusion a try. The food was amazing! I had the bombay chicken. The sauce was creamy but not overly heavy. The chicken was tender. The rice and salad were nice too. The portion sizes were also about right which is rare. I'll definitely be back.

   Sweet27 was AMAZING!! The food was outstanding and GREAT value!! Service was very prompt and courteous! The vibe was hip but laidback. My friend is gluten-free and could not believe the menu options!! This was an after work meal overall wonderful. The décor trendy but with a nod to Baltimore history!! I could keep going on and on....

   Took my daughter for her 21st birthday! Great server(forgot her name, short haircut), her suggestions were on point!!! Food, drinks, atmosphere, excellent! Thank you!

   Let me start by saying that I am 100% NOT gluten-free. For me, gluts-free usually means a meal that either tasters inferior or costs more. The first time I ate at Sweet 27, I had no idea initially that it was a gluten free restaurant. But, my buddy who was with my happens to have celiac disease (and yes, our conversation with the waiter did start with my friend looking like an idiot, asking what gluten free options they offered,) so we stayed. And, we were both blown away. Food is great, as is the atmosphere and the food.

   We were looking forward to. An allergy friendly/vegan meal as advertised but all the food we ordered was extremely spicy to the point we couldn't eat it!! We sent one dish back but by the time we got someone's attention and the new meal came it was long after the others had "finished" - that's in quotes because they barely touched the over spiced food. Very disappointed!!!
