Limited menu of creative southwestern influenced dishes. Enjoyed the Beef Barbacoa Taco starter followed by entrees of Garden (vegetarian) Enchiladas and Maine Scallops. A surprisingly delicious finish to our meals was the HRS Cheesecake.
Service and attention from management was very good. The outdoor setting provided a relaxing setting for an enjoyable evening.
Hard to decide what to order from this great menu. Salmon and Garden enchiladas were beautifully prepared and delicious. Margaritas on the rocks were sublime. Outdoor seating couldn’t be better and our server was attentive. Highly recommend. Friday nights are fun with live music.
Staff was on top of it and very nice. Unfortunately, food did not live up to prices. My salmon was over salted and my husband's $40 scallop plate was overcooked. Menu for kids was limited and not great. Burger my son ordered was overcooked and dry.
Food was delicious. So much fabulous
Flavor. Abel an awesome server.
The food is excellent and the wait staff very courteous and professional.
Tortilla soup was just awful. Tasted like a bowl of cumin pudding. Guacamole was just ok. Not much flavor. Needed salt and lime. Drinks were good but very expensive. We have been dining there for 30 years and very disappointed in this trip.
Our server was on top of everything but still gave us time to talk. It was lovely.
Food and drinks were great, service a touch on the slow side but we had a nice time.
It was a chilly night so we reserved an indoor table, but someone decided to open the doors so we ate with our winter coats on. A really good manager would have noticed everybody wearing their coats and closed those doors.
The food was ok. My friend had fish that was edible but nothing special for the price. I had a salad that was supposed to have cucumbers, egg, peanuts and chicken. It was basically just bitter greens. I found two small pieces of cucumbers, and a couple of pieces of chicken. Disappointing
Good food. good selection. Good service. They kept our mimosas full!
went for dinner. mediocre food...limited selections...
Being a local we enjoy frequenting the local restaurants and resorts. While we’ve become more acquainted with the Hyatt we unfortunately were not impressed with their Sunday brunch offered. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, the omelette station was a nice touch but the eggs were runny, the mimosas would’ve been better if a nicer champagne was selected by the restaurant... this is just a few to name.
There was a waiter named, Mark that turned our entire experience around. He took notice that we weren’t overall pleased. He went above and beyond to ensure our meal and drinks far surpassed satisfactory. Thank you Mark for allowing us to enjoy our Sunday brunch. Because of you we will definitely be returning and to your section this time.
Quality food with fresh ingredients. Friendly service.
I have been to this brunch before. There is plenty of food and it is pretty good; however, the menu never changes. They serve the exact same things every week with no deviation. Also, although the service is good, it is often slow. With the $79 Travelzoo voucher, it makes the price of the brunch worth it when you include the drinks. But $139 for 2 people for brunch is expensive, even with the bottomless mimosas.
Visiting with cousin here from south dakota. Wanted to show her and her husband the Hyatt property. The tortilla soup was not good. It tasted lke tomato soup. Also, the bun for the beyond burger was dry.
We’ve been coming here for Sunday Brunch for years and it’s just not what it used to be even in comparison to last May. The food isn’t as delicious, the options are fewer and something just doesn’t feel as amazing presentation wise as it used to. For over $50 a person for buffet I remember it being worth it in the past. Love the property and will be back just not for brunch...
Everything was great; loved the food, server attention and knowledge. Sitting outside was wonderful until the cigarettes and cigar smoke sent us on our way.
We have a TravelZoo voucher for the brunch. That made it worth it. Otherwise it's a pretty expensive brunch ($139 for 2 with mimosas).
Service was spotty.
We love our wind me dine me experience at SWB , we come here every year to celebrate my husband‘s birthday . I highly recommend it for any occasions!
Sadly we experienced very slow and forgetful service along with poor food quality and errors on our order. Ruined experience.
Pretentious over spiced foods. Trying too hard to be a gastro experience trapping hotel guests with no other options.
Horrible experience. The waiters were rude and and I actually had to get up to ask them questions.
The food was tasteless. We got the tortilla soup that tastes like tomato soup. Shrimp tacos for $18 that had 6 small cool pieces of shrimp.
The service was good and friendly.
Say outside for an early dinner as we were on east coast time. Service was very good. We shared the pork belly tacos and the ceviche ( it had a different name but it was yellowtail ceviche). All delicious. I had really good salmon with chili hurry and lentils
And avocado. Others had steak. Everyone very happy
Took 15 minutes for a server to come greet us. Very limited menu so we ordered 2 hamburgers which took us 30 minutes to receive. They were way over cooked and very dry. The waiter never came back to check on us and we were not offered a refill on our beverages. The waiter finally came back to the table 15 minutes after we were more than finished to drop of the bill which he said he would wait for us to supply our credit card. It took another 20 minutes to get it back and another employee dropped it off. Overall: horrible service and food is fair and overpriced for crappy options. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
Nice place for light brunch on Sunday morning. If you want big brunch it is a bit pricey! $50/person.
Coffeeis good. Service from Sandra was great!
Great breakfast and lunch. Good for burgers, salads, salmon with lentils (dinner) was great.
Nice buffet, nothing spectacular. SWB lacked charm and ambience. Our server, Cathy, was outstanding. We enjoyed our meal and ate stuffed.
The menu was oddly limited.
The ambience was excellent. We have been to this restauraunt at the Hyatt Resort many times in the last several years. Overall we have sensed a decline in the quality of the foods and the menu choices in the restaurant, both at lunch time and at dinner. Now we have generally avoided going here for lunch or dinner.
Our most recent visit was with another couple. We ordered Salmon, beet salad and a dessert. The salad was very good, but the taste of the main entre, Salmon was average. But what really disappointed us very much was the dessert. When we asked for a pine apple type of cake, the waiter prompltly replied that many customers who had ordered it thought it was not good and returned it. He suggested that we order something else. That was surprising, since the waiter was readily aware of this issue but still that dessert was left on the menu. We ended up ordering another dessert which was pretty bad.
Overall the new menus (for lunch and dinner) in the last few years and the general quality of the foods keep us from goint to the SWB at Hyatt which once was among our favorite restaraunts in Scottsdale.
Had a great experience at SWB, food and service were great, highly recommend.
Travelzoo had a deal on the brunch, and it was fantastic! We will be back again with friends!
Loved the food and also loved sitting by the fire out doors.
Everything was great until the birds came in and attacked us.
The brunch was pricey but it was worthwhile. Tremendous selection of food, fruits, salads, desserts and more - the Quesadilla station was great and the overall service superb. They prepare omelets and an excellent prime rib. Children pay 26 and adults like 58.
I would go again but not invite too many people :) I strongly recommend it for brunch and don’t eat anything befor you go. You would regret it!
Simply Superb. Always something we look forward to.
