   Food was not great. Service was just ok. I told the server the red velvet cake was dry and tasted old she said ok. Did not take off the bill. Shrimp and grits were just off. Would not recommend.

   It was Easter weekend so the restaurant and hotel was practically empty at a prime evening eating time. Not much of a vibe, but again, not many people - just a few by the bar and one or two other small tables. Nonetheless, service was prompt and accommodating. Food was very good - salmon and the fried chicken. Our server brought over multiple whiskeys for me to try to make sure I liked the one I was ultimately ordering. No extra charges. Happy with Sway!

   We waited 10 mins before someone coming to just greet us. The salad we ordered was wrong, the fish sandwich was bland with zero seasoning. The pork chop was under cooked.

   Overall we had a good experience. I saw a lot of mixed reviews but decided to try it out and im glad we did! We had the pork rinds as an appetizer and it was delicious. Both of us ordered the Southern Burger and it didn't disappoint. The only let down of the meal was the mac and cheese. The noodles weren't done and we sent it back and they took it off our bill. Overall 4 out of 5.

   My Kentucky Hot Brown had very little turkey, but the server made it right. Our table looked cleaned but when we placed our hands on the table it was very sticky, so sticky the plates stuck to the table. We told the manager and she gifted us with a complimentary meal to take home. Her professionalism made our Valentine day dinner nice.

    the meal could have been warmer, but it was very good. My husband had the fried chicken, He wasn't impressed. The burger was good and the shrimp and grits were good. More shrimp tail in the shrimp and grits than shrimp..

    So understanding it was New Year's Eve there were some expected problems on a busy night such as this in the front and back of the house. Though we were seated promptly our waitress who seemed to be taking care of the entire restaurant was super busy. When she got to us we were never asked for a drink order, clearly she was trying to manage more than she should have had to. Though she told us our food was on the way after a bit of a wait, which normally I don't mind as long as I have drink in front of me, seemed to be a kitchen issue. All our meals were tasty but the grits were served cold but eventually replaced with a warm bowlful. So we would return again as the food was quite good but there seems to be some logistics / staffing issues to overcome. All staff working were pleasant and hardworking I think management needs to be involved and visible.

    Hostess was nice and helpful. The man that brought the waters, the server and the food runner were all incredibly rude. We were sat immediately but weren’t greeted by our server for a good 15 mins. Server came, asked us about drinks, and then said what do you need to eat. Water dude slammed drinks on the table and walked away without a word or eye contact or anything. Food was pretty good though.

    Had a group of 20 people. Most everyone cleaned their plate! Shrimp and grits, salmon, steak, sliders (sauce was extra good), hush puppies, cornbread, wedge salad all consumed happily. The one exception was the hot brown which was not Louisville's traditional famous dish. The kids menu was helpful for the young ones. For groups larger than 6 the bill is not split. Service was pretty good. Atmosphere is warm. Would definitely go back.

    Our server and manager were amazing considering how they handled an unsatisfied and irate customer. There was no pleasing this man; he was 100% at fault, and blamed the service which as totally untrue. Even his wife was embarrassed by his behavior. With all that happening, we still managed to have a wonderful and delicious dinner; drinks were so tasty as well. You have to visit Sway; it has the best fried chicken in town!

    Food tasted good but most of it was cold when it came out so that was disappointing. There were very few people so not sure why it took so long to get our food. In the end it was not worth the price, won’t return.

    Stopped her for a quick dinner while in Louisville. Very nice ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Hostess seated us quickly and the server was quite delightful. The 4 stars was mainly for the wings which we had the hot sauce on the side but the wings themselves were so salty we had to pull the skin off. The cornbread was tasty but was a heavy texture. The black eye pea salad was tasty!

    Open Table was critical in this dining experience. Stopped in and was told that they weren't taking anyone else to the wait list so we left. A few minutes later realized that there was literally nowhere on 4th street that would serve us as there was an event in town and everyone was understaffed. I opened the app and it showed a table for 2 at Sway in 3 minutes. Grabbed it, got the confirmation and walked across the street and got seated right away. The service team was great, food was awesome. Way better than the only alternative on 4th St - Smashburger.

    Elton John concert in town and caught dinner at the hotel. The burger was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, and they were happy to substitute a vegetable for the chips. The Old Fashioned was also excellent. The service wasn’t great, but only because it wasn’t staffed well. It wasn’t that our server wasn’t great, she just had way too many tables to serve. Everyone was really trying to help everyone else out. If they had appropriate staffing (I know, hard to achieve in the current climate), the score would have been higher, but overall very nice dinner!

    Husband loved the shrimp and grits and I enjoyed my half fried chicken. There was only one server for the whole dining room and she handled it with grace. Once our orders were in, drinks, apps, and food all came promptly. No complaints!

    Very impressed with this restaurant. While the menu options are limited, they do very well with what is offered. Both the chicken and Turkey choices were excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the downtown area.

    We waited 20 minutes for a hostess, along with 2 other groups that had reservations at the same time. One of the groups had spoken with an employee who said she would be back, and never came back. The bar area is facing the entrance, and the bartender and 2 servers there saw us and completely ignored us. We eventually gave up and went somewhere else. We've eaten here several other times on other trips over the past year, and the service is always terrible and the food is just okay. I once ordered a Manhattan and the bartender came to the table twice to ask me how to make it.

    We made a reservation through Open Table. We arrived at the restaurant at the time of our reservation and we were told that they were only open for Carryout. They were offering no dine in service at all. So we’re stuck at 6:00 on a Friday night with no reservation anywhere.
