Very, very, very slow service, and lukewarm food!! After several trips to Swank, I find
the food, and service to be too inconsistant from visit to visit, so do not plan to return anytime soon.
The manager, who should have been expediting service, was standing around looking overwhelmed.
We arrived early which they were actually excited about and they knew it was our 1 year anniversary which they gave us the best table in the house and some free champagne. Ben our waiter was awesome!
Slow, inattentive service, small portions, one dish was sent back twice for proper preparation. Credit card was charged twice for dinner.
Please note- this visit was right at the start of the COVID19
This is a very nice place to dine. The staff is open and friendly and welcoming. The food was very good--prepared and cooked deliciously, and the presentation very nice. We asked the waitress to have the bartender prepare something nice without alcohol, and the results were tasty and just the sort of drink we wanted. We look forward to returning again.
Great service, delicious food and wine!
Easy to make reservations. We sat in the back by the kitchen, which was noisy at times. Customer service was nice, however it seemed that we were forgotten about at times. Beverage orders taking 10-15 mins to get, for example. Food was good.
It was very good food, and recommendations from the wait staff were spot on.
Had an early dinner on a Saturday so the restaurant was fairly empty. Excellent food. Great drinks.
My wife and I were staying at the hotel for a conference. We had eaten in the bar across from the restaurant, which serves a reduced menu from Swank & Swine. We thought that we would give them a try since we enjoyed the snacks in the bar.
I found the wine per glass prices a little high for the quality of wine being served. I enjoyed a Rosé from the Willamette Valley (OR). Having had many wines from this region, I found $16 for a glass a little steep. Not sure why. The wine was marvelous, though. My wife enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay I believe from California. It was more in a realistic price range for wine.
We had no appetizers this evening...went from wine into dinner. We shared a baby gem salad that was perfect. Think of a fancy, more delicate Caesar. We loved it !! My wife was not too hungry so she ordered the roasted carrots. These were awesome !! Baby carrots roasted with some citrus and spice. I had the flat iron steak with a wine reduction, grilled onion, and a cheddar gratin. The steak was cooked perfectly; medium-rare, as requested.
Our waiter was great...as was the staff. We would most definitely go back and eat there again.
Great date night place. Good background music that allows private conversation.
Perfect spot to meet friends before a lecture or event downtown.
It was disappointing to have such indifferent service at what should be a top tier restaurant. Our server could have cared less. He was rarely seen and we needed to hunt him out twice to get service. Our drink order was very delayed and when we inquired with him about it, he NEVER said I am so sorry, let me see what I can do - Oh No - he just looked at us and said "not my problem, I do not control it" Honest that is what he said - and then walked away. He made what should have been a great evening out just ho-hum. We will not be coming back soon.
We had an awesome experience. The food was wonderful and the place is very beautiful, modern yet cozy at the same time.
Great find! The ambiance and decor are very cool. It was a relaxing meal with excellent service. Try the Baked Egg dish for something different. It was fabulous!
Great food! A bit pricey.
Really lovely Valentine's dinner. The special menu was delicious!
Was here for the semi-fixed menu for Valentine's Day. Had an amazing experience, the service was top notch, very friendly, and the food was great!
This was a Valentine’s Day dinner a night early for me and my wife. Our server was attentive, but didn’t hover. The ambience was great considering noise level, lighting, and interior design. Drinks were delicious, though we didn’t try anything unique. We started with the sides of beets and carrots and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were; nearly a plate on their own. We asked for them to be served before our meal and the timing was just right. I had salmon and my wife had scallops and we cleaned our plates like we hadn’t eaten before. I would recommend this for casual dining or a date.
I visited on a Monday evening for a post work meal. It was quiet with a dim lighted ambience. Service was great and the food was great, especially the Swank Burger! Would definitely recommend.
We spent the night at the Paramount Hotel on Saturday night and had dinner at Swank & swine. We had excellent service and the food was delicious and unexpectedly creative. I will highly recommend Swank and swine to others
It was pretty chilly in there and we had to keep our jackets on. That is the only complaint. Food and service was amazing
An overall pleasant experience, good for a pre-Symphony dinner. The food was a mixed bag. Scallops were excellent with nice mix of flavors; the burger was mediocre. Wine selection was not as good as expected for such a wine-centric city.
Offered a fireplace seating even though we arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation. Thank you, the fireplace made our date night magical and romantic. Great ambiance and wonderful whiskey flights!
We had amazing creative food that blew us away. The pork dumplings and charred beets were the highlights!
The food was excellent but service was slow. Our waitress seemed to forget about us and two tables seated well after us received their food before us. We arrived to an empty restaurant at 5:30 and it stook 40 min to get our food.
Baked eggs were bland and unseasoned and served with cold naan with bland avocado spread. Waitress mixed up the o her order at the table and couldn’t remember our drink order. Unimpressed.
Amazing brunch and excellent service! A must when telling my out of town friends where to go!
It was great took the kids out to NYE Late Dinner and we had wonderful service provided by Swank Staff Members, Everything turned out Great!
Great location before attending concert nearby. Average food - good, but not amazing.
NYE date night for new parents. Excellent experience. I would definitely return.
Food was good but the waitress was less than enthusiastic
Beef Tartar and scallop dish was divine! Cocktails were tasty as well. Would definitely go back here!
Quiet place for brunch or lunch. Great bar. Eggs Benedict was fantastic. Chicken and waffles not so much. The waffles were great, but the chicken was rather flavorless.
All enjoyed their beverages and entree. We went there for meal before a show at Newmark. We were all very impressed with the overall experience. Only downside was no GreyGoose vodka..but no worries. Next time, we will try the Swine also. Keep up the good work!!
Awesome service, delicious food and beverages, and great ambience.
Limited menu service started out well then fell apart. One hour 35minutes for entree .
Had to ask to get plates cleared and had to ask for dessert menu.
Never ordered a dessert because waiter never came back.
To bad because it's close to the theater.
The bathroom the restaurant guest have to use was really in need of housekeeping.
No valet parking for restuarant either.
Salmon was excellent..cooked perfectly. Roasted beets were great addition. Perfect spot for business dinner.
The grilled cheese is amazing! We had the brownie too which was super yummy.
