Chris, the waiter, is absolutely phenomenal. We ask for him everytime we dine here.
SW’s is a must on your Vegas check list. It will be the Vegas restaurant that you will compare other Vegas and hometown restaurants to for years to come. WARNING: Dining at SW’s is likely to downgrade all of your other dining experiences so practice the phrase “this was good but not nearly as good as that night at SW’s. The entree are spectacular and i recommend any of the steaks with a side of King Crab Leg. Don’t miss the sides especially the creamed corn with black truffles or the lobster Mac and Cheese. I am a Vegas regular and already am on the plane home and am already suffering a lack of enthusiasm for any of the places back home for dinner tonight.
Front desk was friendly , yet server was very condescending during entire dinner. No amount of ambiance can make up for poor service. Unfortunately With so much turnover of patrons, SW servers have little motivation to put effort into making the night feel special.
We enjoyed our 10th anniversary here and everything was exceptional!
Our visit to SW Steakhouse was amazing. I cannot say enough.
Probably one of the best steaks I ever had! My husband enjoyed his bone in ribeye too! Great service as well!
It was my birthday dinner all the 🥩🥩 were exceptionally great.
We were seated 30 minutes past our reservation time. The noise level was unacceptable,
One of the greatest meals I have ever experienced
I had requested a table beside the lake. On arrival was told it was too windy, they were not seating outside. Within 8 min they were seating tables by the lake!!!!!
Awesome steak! Loved sitting outside on the patio
Exceptional as always. Great service from two servers handling our table. Enjoyed the grass fed filet, which was cooked to perfection.
My dad and I meet up in Las Vegas once a year, and on the Saturday night of our visit go all out at a different steakhouse on the Strip. This year, our target was SW!
We decided to each get a steak and get 2 sides to share. My dad got a chef's special of Japanese Wagyu that had eaten a diet of mostly olives. It was unbelievable. The silkiness of the meat was unlike anything we had ever had before. Like all great Japanese Wagyu, the marbling was incredible. The fat has a very slight brininess to it which was clearly from the diet of olives the cow ate. I ordered a dry aged New York strip from Ideue Farm in the Kagoshima Prefecture - I love dry aged steaks! A few minutes after we ordered, the server came back and said they were out of the Ideue Farm, so I ordered the dry aged Snake River Farms NY Strip instead. It was a beautiful piece of meat. My only wish was that it was aged longer. The tang of the dry aging was very very subtle.
Lastly, we shared sides of fennel mac and cheese and roasted broccoli. They were both very good, but we were there for the steaks! SW did not disappoint! In a land of many great Steakhouses, this one deserves to be near the top. Its collection of truly amazing beef sets it apart even when most of the steakhouses on the Strip are serving great Japanese Wagyu. Another great memory made with my dad in a great Vegas steakhouse.
Everytime I visit Las Vegas, I go to this restaurant. Every time, it's exactly how I wanted to be, perfect. Food is amazing, service is fantastic, I highly recommend it.
One of our best meals in Vegas. Setting was gorgeous, delicious food, and impeccable service.
Normally this place is great and we go back every time we r in Vegas. But this time the steak was sub-par and the wild mushrooms were not wild. But we will continue to return unless this is a trend.
My daughters thirteenth birthday
We were very excited to have dinner at the renowned SW, but the food and the service fell short of the hype.
The appetizers were fantastic. The steak tartare and the crab cake are delicious. My girlfriend and I had the porterhouse and added the bacon and shallots with some potatoes as a side. The bacon and shallots came on the side and didn't compliment the steak. We wanted medium rare we got medium. Cooking a steak that size is difficult I know. But it is a steakhouse and I spent over 140 bucks on the steak alone. The porterhouse in general was lackluster. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is beautiful. Go but order a smaller format steak. I'm sure you'll get a better piece of meat then we got. Overall the place is beautiful and run very well.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing.
This was a destination dinner that we planned months in advanced and our request for a table outside and near the water was fulfilled.
Many thanks to everyone involved to make our special day dinner an moment we will cherish forever.
My wife and I just got married that day at the little white chapel. We stayed at the Wynn and had dinner reservations at SW steak house. And it couldn’t have been better. The staff are great the out door dining area is beautiful and food oh my the food. We had black truffle cream corn fennel Mac and cheese with a tomahawk chop steak. It was the best I’ve ever had. Word to the wise only order one tomahawk chop they are huge plenty for two. Fantastic place and food.
Entree was ok. Nothing spectacular. Break basket was very good. Staff was very friendly. Show on the lake was completely lame. Was really looking forward to something special but was highly disappointed. You'd think with amount they charge for a meal and drinks and being Las Vegas, they could improve this and make it worthwhile. Will not come back.
Amazing from start to finish. Be sure to ask for a table outside by the Lake of Dreams for the shows
My in-laws said it was the best steak they ever had and the portion exceeded the value. As a vegan, I expected to "take one of the team" and nibble on salad but was over the moon to have several vegan options to pick from: 3 appetizers. 4 entrees, 2 desserts. My mother-in-law ordered the vegan soup to start and loved it (artichoke-potato) and my husband ordered the salad, which was great. My entree was polenta and meatballs. I'm not normally a "fake meat" person but decided "when and Rome" OUTSTANDING. My husband ordered the maitake mushroom dish, which was also very good. The real show stopper was the coconut tapioca pudding. Best dessert I've ever had and I don't like pudding, or coconut, or tapioca! it was that good!
I was underwhelmed with the steak, but service and ambience was amazing.
We always love going to SW- if you can get a seat outside it really makes the experience even better!!
High expectation turned into a terrible experience.
Best Filet Ever !!!! The food was really spectacular. We have stayed at the Wynn several times and it was our 1st visit to SW steakhouse. We live in NY and steakhouses are everywhere. Our only disappointment was that we hadn’t tried it sooner ! Crab Pasta was delicious as an appetizer .
It was fabulous, food was excellent, but we never saw a wine list and I was given 2 $50 glasses of wine...that was a bit sneaky, $100 for 2 glasses of wine...ask for a wine list
Such a romantic experience with great food.
Always a Fabulous experience here. Meal is always the Best. A must do when we are in Vegas.
Great meal with great service
Family Spring Break vacation dinner. The fillet and ribeyes were cooked perfectly and we loved the mashed potatoes and bacon and cheese bread.
Wonderful experience. Food was excellent and requested a table by the water, which was worth it for the show!
Great service. Staff were outstanding
Came in at reservation time, waited 10 min to get seated; not bad for SW! Pace and meal excellent! Had various appetizers and the small filet mignon! Excellent! All good! Took 2 1/2 hours! Perfect
Bsst steak in Vegas!!
Best steak in Las Vegas!! Must try the funnel cakes for dessert!! Great view of the waterfall out back.
