The music was excellent and our server was great. The food was plentiful, but not as warm as we would have liked it.

The fried chicken wasn’t cooked throughly. The drinks could’ve been better. The chicken roll was really good.

Service from the door and throughout eve was comnendable. Quantity and Quality of food was impressive. The meats were especially delicious, being both tender and savoury. The live entertainment enhanced the experience.

The restaurant didn't have my reservation on their records. However, I showed them the open table reservation confirmation on my phone and they were able to quickly accommodate us.

Online seating issues, we were placed in the bar by the bathroom. We were there for the band that was playing that night. Would have appreciated better accommodations as we were returning customers. Will not be going back.

We had a blast at Suzy Que's. Our waitress was nice and friendly. The food was excellent and it arrived at our table pretty fast. We went on a Friday night and the live band was awesome. We even had a friend from our group, party of 8 to sing along with them. Overall. I would recommend that you go and dine there. You won't be sorry. Good good and drinks with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We love this place... a good local BBQ spot... the only problem is that the food is so good, that we always overeat! :)

Tonight I was informed by the manager that the Groupon was no longer valid if you sat in the room where the live music was being performed. There was no such rule listed on the Groupon site for this new policy. I politely explained to the manager that we had come specifically to hear this band and now with this new policy we would be spending far less money. He shrugged and said I'm sorry it's the new policy
I will return to hear the band but will most likely eat dinner somewhere else and my check at suzys will most likely be under $5. If you are running a business to lose money, then they are winning!

Food was great and band (RPM) was fantastic given the small space by the bar. Despite the small space for the band, I can appreciate the bar-and-band feel.

Hostess had no record of this reservation set up through this website, but we thankfully found seats at the bar anyway.

Bar tender was very hospitable, but over charged us on our bill, forgetting that we had paid cash for half of our drinks.

This was our second time at Suzyque's and certainly our last. Upon arriving we were ignored by a number of waitstaff until my fiancee approached a waitress standing nearby to ask if we could be seated. After we were taken to our table we waited for over 15 minutes before our server came by. We asked other servers walking through the area if we could order and were told that they were not our server. My fiancee decided he would place our order (for drinks and food) at the bar. He came back with drinks but said they wouldn't allow him to place our dinner order. Another 10-15 passed passed before our waitress came by. We ordered our food and waited, and waited, and waited. There were three servers working the small area of the dining room where we were seated which consisted of approximately 15 tables so it was unclear why the service was so poor. About 45 minutes after ordering food, at this point we'd been seated for well over an hour, my fiancee called it and went to find our waitress, whom we hadn't seen since she took our order, to let her know to cancel it and that we were leaving. He wasn't able to find her so asked another waiter, who also was unsure of her whereabouts, to relay the message. Never have we witnessed such inept and poor service. At the very least it would have been nice for the waitress to come by to acknowledge the long wait so we at least knew that we hadn't been forgotten about. This experience however is consistent with our first visit where after being seated we waited 10-15 with no one coming by to take a drink order. Upon getting up to leave we were stopped by the owner who happened to be sitting at the table behind us. She was very kind and apologetic and begged us to stay comping our meal which was very generous. After giving the staff a stern talking to she emerged from the back with our waitress. It was only because of the owner's intervention that we decided to give it another chance. Disappointing, will not return.

Overrated bbq. Very disappointed.

I made reservation and seated , no problem. I sat for over thirty minutes before I went to find someone to even approach my table. I was told three times someone would be over in a minute. We did atleast finally get our drink order. After 1 hour and 20 minutes not counting the 30 minutes I mentioned our food was finally was sent out. Was definitely not worth the wait.

It was a great evening out for my friend and I. It's her first time there and she has already recommended it to her other friends.

The brisket was amazing! Some of the best I have ever had! I loved the onion strings and cornbread too!

We went to see a local band play. That said, it was loud by intent. The band, Just Jammin was very good. I do not know when or how often they play there.
Food was good, we shared the BBQ sampler, but for me a little overcooked and dried. Didn't appreciate the sauces. The BBQ beef "egg roll" was excellent
For this type of place and location the prices were steep.

Really good food, especially the Southern fried chicken and sweet potato fries.

We really went to see the amazing music-they have a big band of extraordinarily talented Broadway musicians there every other Monday night .
Unfortunately they were very shorthanded in the kitchen and did not do particularly well communicating that. It's a lot easier to be understanding when the staff is straightforward and tells you in advance that there's a problem. Buy me a round of drinks and I'm a happy camper for as long as it takes, LOL
The food was good but took a very long time to come out.
I'll definitely be back because the music is so good that it compensates for everything else!

Food was excellent, the day we went they also had a live jazz band which was great. Made it a little difficult to talk across the table but to be expected with live music. The service was ok, our waitress was a little slow and at times seemed a little overwhelmed. But the food, OMG. Great portion size, even for a big guy like myself I had to take some home. The food was awesome, I'm not a huge BBQ fan but I am a fan of their food. I will go back.

Although, I was aware of the live entertainment and made a reservation they did not inquire if I wanted to be seated in the area where the entertainment was located. Could not even see the band. Fairly chilly. Server was not frequent enough throughout our meal. Food came out room temperature. Sauces were delicious.

We came here intending to eat bar-be-que...but after checking out the menu, we ate southern fried chicken as well as shrimp & grits!! LOL...excellent variety and we will be back for bar-be-que!

We were planning to use a groupon at this restaurant on MLK day in the evening. We made a reservation and called to say we were using a Groupon, with NO mention that it wasn't possible because of the holiday. We were told, VERY RUDELY, when we arrived that because it was a holiday, we couldn't use the groupon. While I would have been more understanding if the restaurant was very crowded, since there were MANY empty tables, it felt like bad customer service. We talked with the owner and even she was RUDE. This was a clear opportunity to make a new loyal patron, but instead, they turned us OFF. We are getting a credit from Groupon and will not return to SuzyQ's. I would not recommend this restaurant because of the bad customer service. I had to choose the one stars for food, etc, to submit the review, but of course, we weren't given that opportunity to actually know about the food.

Just a nice venue to have a pleasant time with friendly staff and patrons and good eats; a laid back atmosphere where you can let your hair down- if you have any.

Nice people, mediocre food and drinks. Definitely a shot and beer bar. Don't go for anything even remotely like a martini.

Ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken were all cooked acceptably. Came with 4 sauces, all relatively flavor-free. Just not enough pop on the plate.

Unfortunately we won't be going back anytime soon.

Susie's is a great find! The menu is so wide and varied -- there's something for everyone! Our group of 15 spanning all ages, all enjoyed what we ordered and had a very fun evening. The live music in the bar was great -- so much so that we wished it was louder to reach us in one of the dining rooms.
Susie is a gem of a hostess and personally greeted all of us. The restaurant is a real treasure in a neighborhood that could really use one. We look forward to going back soon.

Had a delicious lunch with my coworkers -- wings and ribs and brisket. Will definitely return.

Every other Monday night there's FABULOUS jazz performed by BROADWAY musicians (most theaters are dark Mondays). Yes, it's loud, but food is very good, drinks are substantial and there's no additional cover for music. Love this place!

Had great time and good food. Everyone was friendly the atmosphere was cozy. The entertainment was awesome. Overall experience was great!
