It was some of the most unique combinations of food mixing Japanese and Peruvian cuisine with several small plates and sushi. Just our opinion, but the food was some of the best we have had. Try the yellow tail tacos and the great drinks! We had a great experience!!

I had SushiSamba in Vegas, and it was amazing. But as I've now discovered, my experience was quite skewed as it was a large business outing. We had a 6-course prix fixe serving in Vegas, and dedicated people. So I didn't pay a penny for it, and the service was spot on because we had several dedicated people serving us.

Unfortunately that experience wasn't the norm, and I didn't listen to reviews I read about poor service. The food is an interesting take on South American and Japanese cuisine and offers some really unique treats. It's really very good food. However, it is worth neither the price you pay nor the horrible service I received at the Miami location. It was like a three stooges play--we were attended to by 5 or 6 different people, from servers to managers to the owner, NONE of whom knew what stage of our meal we were on. We received main courses before appetizers. We were asked prior to any food coming what we'd like for dessert, to which we laughed. I have never in my life seen a restaurant so disorganized. They need to work out a better system for serving their customers. It was so bad that it made the entire dinner a chore to get through when it otherwise would have been enjoyable, despite being quite overpriced ($5-$7 per sashimi--this is per PIECE, not per 2pc or 3pc).

Sadly I won't be back to any SushiSamba location after this.

Everything we ordered was delicious except for the sea bass. It was very fishy and did not taste fresh. It was disappointing for the price.

Having been to other locations of Sushi Samba and having good memories of the food, we came here with my 10yo son who love sushi. Our waitress was pleasant, the restaurant is fun but the food was sloppy, maybe because they were busy but overcook rice for sushi is not acceptable, a recommended signature was so bad that we could not even eat it as the rice was so mushy. Still enjoyed the vibes but more attention to food should be given.

Fun spot in the heart of Miami. Not as nice as the Sushisamba in other cities. (Less formal.)

Very disorganized wait staff that evening. I had to go back to the person who sat us after23 mins to ask if we could have someone take care of our table. They got us someone to take our order and food was very slow to come out and then when I received the check I had to go back to the person who sat is to give him the bill because I paid in cash and did not want to leave on the table.
Usually a great place. Service was not synced up this night.

Went for Samba hour as advertised on their website. Nowhere was it mentioned that this was only available at the bar. It was a family meal with the kids so we weren't able to eat there. Prices sky hight for what you get. Not worth it and I wouldn't go back.

If you are a foodie who enjoys the art of plating and delicious food, then you can't do much better than Sushisamba. This hot spot features wonderful outdoor dining; a lovely inside atmosphere; super courteous and efficient service; excellent sushi... the music divine. I visit South Beach once a year and always take time to visit this wonderful restaurant that is located on Lincoln Road and requires reservations. It is a very popular spot!

Food was good but the long wait to get our sushi was too much. Regardless of the sushichefs being busy, it should not take over 30 min to bring out the sushi/ceviche after the others got their kitchen entrees. It was nice of the restaurant to comp the ceviche but it would have been better to eat with the others. We ordered the sea bass & chicken entrees, ceviche and 1 of the rolls (i forget which one), as well as, edamame (they were out of, really?!?!) & a few drinks that were great.

Service was slow to start due to our servers tables all being sat at the same time...she was kind enough to let us know that sushi was taking a while so she recommended some appetizers to share while we waited...drinks we wonderful but the bar also seemed backed up some...a couple more servers on the floor and maybe another bartender or two and this place would be unstoppable! The servers assistant that came to clean up dirty plates and glasses was extremely friendly and he put a smile on everyone’s face! We will definitely be back.

Must do experience in SOBE. Edna has waited on us for years, she makes the meal a special event. Good selection of saki, Junmai Daiginjo and Nigori’s are great.
Can’t go wrong, you will go away happy, full, and singing the SushiSamba song!

Had the chefs tasting menu! It was amazing. The only thing is that one of the plates came out with a hair and that was really disgusting. That ruined the experience! But they brought me a new plate and everything else was great.

We had an awesome experience. Our waiter, Sergio, was great - he knew all about the eclectic menu and gave us recommendations that we loved! It was a true adventure of tasting different foods - Peruvian, Brazilian and Japanese, all of which was delicious. We will be sure to return on every visit to Miami!

Disappointing. Doesn’t come close to their sister restaurants in NY and Vegas. Service was so poor. The woman who was supposed to be serving me passed my table three times. She was walking in circles. Finally another waiter took care of me. She then shows up at the end to ask if I’m finished. The food was also poor. Lobster roll was chewy.

Our waiter suggested we let him bring our group of 7 the most popular items. It wasn’t inexpensive, but We got to taste a lot of really excellent seafood small plates and didn’t have to worry with ordering. I thought the sushi, rolls and other seafood small plates were better than the final “main dishes”. It was a great evening of tasting deliciously prepared fish while watching Miami walk by our table. Would recommend highly

Food is good, small portion but refined. Service is awful, we had to wait 50 mins to get our sushis, the waiter just replied that they were really busy??? Many tables around us were in the same situation, but never saw our second order, after 2hrs wait we decided to check out.

Friends told us this was their favorite place to eat on Lincoln. We tried to dine here xmas eve but the wait was too long. Christmas dinner outdoors on Lincoln is a treat! Great ambiance, nice server, flavorful drinks.... food was good but getting it was a challenge. Everyone around us (seated after us) were served before anything of ours came out. Yes, it’s busy but honestly I think our server forgot to place our order- we had to remind him several times to bring certain dishes. 1 1/2 hrs after being seated I asked our server for my sons Miso soup. 2 hrs+ and still no sushi roll... meanwhile tables around us got their sushi &appetizers. One drink was “comped”... we didn’t really have a place to go but boy were we disappointed with the service. “We’re busy” was a Lame excuse, in my opinion! Bummer b/c the food was tasty, though sushi v small portion.....

We just landed from the UK where we go to Sushi samba allot, thought we would try the one in Miami. Has to be a million miles apart from what we are used to. Outside seating with pedestrians and beggars not great, service was poor, they ran out of a few items including squid. Rubbish. Don’t bother so many much better sushi places to go in Miami
