SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
This was our first time here. My wife and I shared a few small plates and sides and it was plenty of food. The food had great taste. The server made some good recommendations and she was very attention. It also has a good kids menu with unique options. I would definitely recommend and go back.
Restaurant has a great look. It is in the very far back of The Palazzo upstairs. Our server was not very interested in our party of six. They tried and put us in a table that’s buil for 5 we had to ask to be moved. We had a reservation for over 3 weeks should have had great table. Service was slow not organized at all. This was on a Thursday night not overly crowded. Food was good not great. Overall if the service was better would have given it 4 stars.
First time at the restaurant. Menu didn’t look like anything special. Our waiter suggested a tasting menu option and he would hit the different areas of the menu.
He did a FANTASTIC job. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. There were four of us and ALL of us absolutely loved all the options that were brought to us.
Will definitely come back again. Well done!!
Ordered a couple of test rolls before we ordered more. The sushi rice was dry and hard which is a dealbreaker for me. Rolls were also tiny and bland for the price. Honestly, I’ve had better rolls at my local grocery store, Mollie Stones. It was also super loud which added to my annoyance and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
I really loved this restaurant. The service was great and everything came out extremely quickly without compromising the quality of the food.
I had some delicious dishes, particularly the Robata sea bass and Wagyu gyoza - these are a must have.
Much better than our sushi samba counterpart in London!!! Would definitely go again
Always a delicious and fun meal at Sushisamba. Locals, we don’t get to the strip much but when we’re there and in a sushi mood, o place we’d rather eat. Wagyu beef potstickers to start, Lima rolls which we love, all delicious. Very fun atmosphere and we’re always welcomed back like our business matters. One of our favorites.
Carmine, our waiter was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the menu. The entire wait staff was great when it came to refills and clearing out plates. The excessive plates on the table when you’re ordering family style (which we did) can be frustrating but the SushiSamba crew was awesome at keeping e everything spacious and neat. This was our second time visiting. Our friends introduced us last time we visited Las Vegas and we were anxious to come back and introduce my parents to it. They are now excited to return and introduce their friends to it as well.
Restaurant was not packed and hostess seated us first at a small table then when we asked for a larger table, she accommodated. We looked around and noticed booths so I approached the hostess and asked if we could have a booth. She allowed it, but this would have been easier had she asked our preference up front. It was no big deal really. Our server was very nice, attentive and helpful. Food was very good especially the pork belly sliders (on the menu they are pork belly buns, so a little different but still good) and the churrasco & eggs. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. We tried one of the sashimi ceviches (tuna) and it was only ok. Not terrible but not incredibly flavorful either. The robata squid was also very good as were the plantains. Overall very good and I would come back again but next time I would request a booth in my reservation.
We dined at Sushisamba twice this trip to Vegas. The first night was after a long flight to Vegas. We wanted a quick late night bite and drink at the bar before going to bed. The Happy hour is a great bargain with a bar staff of fantastic mixologists that will not disappoint you.
This same group of us has eaten in many of the restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo complex but this was a real treat. I’m always suspicious of asking the server for a recommendation since it usually turns out to break the bank. This was a bit different. He was very helpful and the explanation of the fusion cuisine (Japanese-Brazilian) was fascinating. The food was very good and, despite the fact that we each ordered our own dish, we shared and enjoyed the differences.
Cool place, great food but the waiter we had was just average at best. Several times we had to wait quite awhile for him to come around.
The other downfall is they have tables so close together that you feel like you are seated with them. It was hard to even get in between the tables to get out.
If I was to do it again I’d sit at the bar.
I ate at Sushisamba with 3 girlfriends during our bachelorette weekend and we all agreed that we had great service, great cocktails and great food! I had the Nina Fresa cocktail and I think I could drink a gallon of it, it was so delicious! Everything we ate was very good. We started with the rock shrimp and squid appetizers - gone in minutes. The yellowtail ceviche and Hamachi sashimi was exceptional. I don't remember which rolls we had, but they were all good. Will definitely return the next time I am in LV.
It took 15 minutes to even acknowledge our table. The waiter acted as if no one knew who our table belong to at first and just kept us. I work in the restaurant business and we push for a table
To be greeted , just greeted that way the party understands that they have been seen, within 45 seconds to a minute of sitting down. The runners did an excellent job at describing the food, however, it was very quick and they made it seem like the had to do it as fast as possible and leave to run more food. Anyways, that restaurant should be known for the experience in all. I will not dine there again. Our family didn’t feel like we were a priority and everyone should no matter if it is a special occasion or not.
