We highly recommend Sushi Zushi! Do yourself a favor and make sure to order Toro Sashimi, Pepper crusted yellowtail and the Dynamite Crawfish! Simply amazing!
This place was so slow! We waited an hour and half for two sushi rolls.
Also the restaurant was not even that busy!
Good food. Excellent customer service
Food was amazing as always. We waited quite a while to get someone to wait on us and only after we flagged down a server.
Service was incredibly slow, but the food was pretty good. I don’t anticipate that slow service is always the occasion.
Abysmal service. Waited over 15 minutes for drinks and only got after prompting waiter. Then waited over an HOUR for food. Food was decent but nothing worth waiting for. Restaurant was very noisy, needs baffling. Will not be back at all given the service.
Food was very good, service was friendly. Appetizers came out quickly, but main course delivery was lengthy. Overall, very good!
Food was just not very fresh. Sushi made me a little worried and really lacked flavor and the shrimp was overcooked.
Could have been an off night as it was our first time there but there a lot of other sushi places that I would rather go to.
We normally love eating at Sushi Zushi - but our server and service tonight was terrible!! After being seated, no one even came to our table to bring waters or menu for a full 12 minutes... which is a long time to be sitting and just waiting to be greeted... We then asked if we could order immediately because we were hungry and the waiter said he would be right back, but then returned about 5 min later after we saw him attend to other tables. We ordered only a few items including an appetizer and sashimi (which requires almost zero prep), and after 25 min we still hadn't received a single item from our order. We were clearly annoyed and a manager arrived to try and help out the situation but then did not even bring the correct items that we had ordered. After all of this we were told that they would remove a $2 charge for 1 of the pieces of sashimi that we had ordered... which doesn't even begin to make up for how upset we were.
Food took an hour to get here but it was great when it did
It took almost 30 Mins to get edamame. Our meal didn’t come until about an hour. They also brought us the wrong food, and I had to keep asking where our correct food was.
Some of the best sushi in Dallas, service is always great, highly recommend!
It was a great experience. Good food and service
Sushi was not very fresh, slow service.
I have gone to this restaurant regularly for several years, usually 2-3 times per month. I have always enjoyed the sushi and the service, especially from our favorite server, Noche. She is a gem and totally dedicated to her work especially her customers. The vibe is fun here. The atmosphere is great. There is room for almost any size gathering. As a frequent flyer of this restaurant, I give 2 thumbs up to Sushi Zushi.
Sushi Zushi is a favorite among my friends and I for grabbing sushi in West Village. Love the area and very easy if you want to hop on the trolley. Awesome food, some of the best in Dallas.
Loud...plenty of room for large tables, so it tends to be loud.
Nice place in uptown to eat some sushi but to be perfectly honest it didn’t set apart its sushi game. I have had better sushi at zennas happy hour and I would’ve come out 80 dollars cheaper. Everything else is great and the service is amazing. Prepare for a nice bill and too wait and hour and a half for your food unless you get apps which we did.
I try other things on occasion but the LIR and Oaklawn rolls are what we order most of the time with a vegetable tempura appetizer. Everything is creative and fresh. The atmosphere is casual modern. The dining area is broken up into sections that make it feel cozy, instead of one big open room. It’s great if a date, a group of friends, or folks like me who come in after work for dinner. Great place!
Really enjoyed our meal. The sushi rolls were fresh and well executed. We also ordered udon noodles and fried rice. Both were good. I would recommend to others and will return.
Food was good! Service was excellent! Would go back
Great, and I man great sushi
Will be back soon
Extremely slow kitchen, but great food.
cool place. great service. fish is average at best. ordered tuna sashimi and it was still some what frozen.
Our server, Flavio (that isn’t his name but was similar- cannot find the receipt) was exquisite, I’d hire him in a minute! Ambiance was gorgeous, central location was perfect, loved the pet friendly patio, sofas and tables out doors wonderful. A word of advice; candles and simple, single stem flower, or other plant life feature is attractive of prosperity, in addition to the enhancement to pleasurable experience of your guests, adding to memories we like to talk about with friends, colleagues and certain family members who’d make a reservation simply based on that word of mouth.
I felt lonely out doors having my cigarette without the candle light.
We love this place! Great sushi roll options and spicy edamame. The cosimo roll is my fav!
I have decided to select Sushi Zushi based on reviews. I was no disappointed. The service was great, the food was fresh and excellent. Try some of their cocktail as they also taste very good.
I would recommend it and I would come back on my next visit to Dallas.
Food is delicious and sake selection is one of the most diverse in Dallas
Very uninspired sushi. Missing ingredients in rolls that were 75% rice. Won't be back.
Started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was delicious. Would go back just for that. I had a Philadephia roll that was quite good and my daughter had a rainbow roll she enjoyed. Sushi tasted fresh and service was very good. Will go back.
Great food however slower than expected for sushi.
Sushi Zuchi has quickly moved to my short-list for consistent quality food in a modish yet comfortable setting (aka Friday night dinner). My wife and I always order the veggie tempura (a variety of vegetables, battered and fried) which is big enough to share without spoiling the appetite. We also order two sushi rolls - three if we're very hungry. The menu is extensive so every sushi lover should find what their looking for. I can't remember all the rolls I've had but the Oakland is for sure of of my favorites! Also drinks are strong and affordable : )
Service was a little slow. The food was good
Sushi Zushi is always lovely. We love the Happy Hour specials, and the service was incredible.
Food and alcohol selection were great, lots of space, a little on the noisy side, server wasn't very personable
This location isn't as nice as the other Sushi Zushi's I've been to, but I was surprised to see how reasonable the happy hour menu was, and with lots of choices! Overall the service was ok. Good but not great.
The service here has been on a steady decline for a long time. The food is great but from the front of house to the waitstaff, they're slow, inattentive, and low brow. There is one asian waitress who is awesome, but you're never lucky enough to get her.
Sooooo loud 🙉
The sashimi left a LOT to be desired - funky taste....couldn't eat it.
Manager did take it off of our ticket though.
