Traditional tempura battered and deep fried. Light and crunchy in texture
Slices of raw fish, rice-less
There were so many gnats at our table. At times it was uncomfortable to have them flying around the table and food.
My husband and I made reservations for Valentine's and were sat right away. We ordered appetizers (edamame and beef sashimi) and both were delicious. For our entree, we ordered two orders of beef yakitori and gohan and the delicato roll (w/o the Tampa Bay sauce). Everything came out within a timely manner except for the delicato roll. I did not think twice about it because it was busy and we weren't in a hurry anyways. I inquired about the roll, and the server said it would be out shortly. Once our meal was finished, the manager took our bill and deducted the roll because of the wait. We thought that was very professional. We will definitely return.
A favorite for sushi. Enjoyed the new menu, easier to understand for newbies too. Vegan and vegetarian munu available.
Consistently good sushi and excellent service. Zushi has been my San Antonio “go to” for sushi for many years!
2nd time eating at this restaurant, both times have been great. Happy with service, food and price.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks with a sushi sampler. The ‘fish collar’ was a delight. The ice cream samples was a unique and refreshing combination
Everything was good except there was a screaming child or two. It’s beyond the restaurant’s control but sushi and children don’t mix.
Best sushi I’ve had in a while!
Took a few minutes to get service but once we got going it turned out to be a great dine in. Our server was sweet and very attentive
Food was delicious.
Great. Excellent food. Service is Outstanding.
Our fave place for casual date night sushi.
We were greeted and seated right away. The server was nice and knowledgeable of the menu.
Hostesses need major training
Bridal Shower, hostess prepared special table even though we didn’t ask. Waitress was on top of it with orders and drinks and brought gluten soy sauce for our gluten free friends . Of course the food was good and We were very pleased
Great service this time especially. It is our staple sushi place.
I always love going to the Lincoln Heights location. Always great staff and wonderful food
The restaurant came highly recommended so we decided to try it. The server was less than interested and the sushi was a 6/10. The restaurant did not feel clean and it was warm inside. The menus were sticky and there were small bugs and flies around our food. We won't go back.
It took about 45 minutes to receive our rolls/other sushi but we were advised of the lead time in advance.
Benjamin is literally the BEST WAITER! My friends and I ask for him regularly because he’s personable, funny and attentive. Even during a crazy happy hour shift he doesn’t skip a beat. And the rolls, drinks and ambiance are AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back for our twice monthly (sometimes weekly) happy hour delights!
Salmon tartare was great. Collonade roll was good. Family atmosphere
Food and service was fantastic! The sushi was delicious and they accommodated our group and did an excellent job.
All food just a bit noisy , were too close to a roudy bunch
We experienced great customer service at this restaurant during our recent visit. We mentioned that it was my wives birthday and got a pleasant complimentary surprise. We always enjoy this restaurant, as the food is very good and the ambiance is just as good. Its our date-night go to restaurant!
Dined here twice this week. Pleased with service and food.
Food was great but it took quite a while
Service was extremely slow. It took one hour for our food to be served. Our server barely interacted with us and didn’t seem to care.
There are other excellent sushi restaurants in the city. We will be frequenting them from now on.
Great dining experience.
Sushi zushi Lincoln heights is my favorite location in San Antonio. The hosts and wait staff are always pleasant and on their game. Food is delicious. Have never had a bad experience. Ben , who was our server, is goofy and funny, all while making sure he took good care of us providing an entertaining experience as well.
Always a great place to have a family dinner where everyone enjoys the good and mommy and dady can have a few drinks. It is our go to for family dinners.
I LOVE this place!
It took a half hour to get our food and every dish that should have been hot/warm was lukewarm or worse, room temperature. Not good for a soup or tempura. Flavor wasn't there either like the kitchen had given up on serving tasty food. The price with tip and no alcohol was $75 for two. Way over-priced for what we got. We won't be going back.
Although it’s far from authentic, Sushi Zushi is absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh, and the service (at least at some locations) is always consistently great! If you’re a “Sushi snob” who compares everything to that “one place in Japan/California/anywhere,” then you might not appreciate the food for what it is: a blending of the owner’s culture and experiences. Love it!
Great waiter with great food!
Best sushi in San Antonio! We have tried several since moving to the area, and keep coming back to Zushi
The service today was slow and the server couldn't possibly have been less interested in us.
The appetizer came two minutes before our sushi came to the table. It was just poor service.
I made a reservation ahead of time because it was my wife's birthday and it's her favorite restaurant. I even clicked on the "Birthday" option of the "Special Event?" question and we never got an acknowledgement about her birthday the entire time.
It was disappointing. I was disappointing and struggling with the thought of going back.
We had sashimi, rolls, and appetizers and everything was excellent. We have been eating sushi for over 20 years this place is excellent. We now live in New Braunfels and drive 30-45 min depending on traffic just to go eat here. We love it.
We love Sushi Zushi!! The food and the service was excellent as always!!
We went there for Mother’s Day and used the Open Table app for a reservation.
The only complaint I have is that Open Table allowed me to make a reservation for a time in which the restaurant wasn’t even open - 11am and the restaurant didn’t open until 11:30am.
I made the reservation several days ahead but did not receive a call from the restaurant until 10:30am on Mother’s Day. We were already on the way there so we had to make a detour and kill some time before going to the restaurant. In all, everything was excellent and we had a great time.
Lovely experience, as always. The staff was attentive, atmosphere nice, and the food was excellent.
Great dining experience
Relaxing place to have some great sushi and conversation.
