The ribeye teppanyaki was delicious paired with the beef tenderloin fried rice. Will be back again.

We arrived early to try out the Restaurant Week menu. Not crowded came before 6pm reservation. We were seated promptly and our waiter Roel was 1 week on the job. He wasn't familiar with the Restaurant Week menu and wasn't sure about the drinks on the drink menu either. Despite that, he was polite and was attentive to our needs- whether it was for more water, extra plates, or napkins. When we received our food. It was subpar. We had the shrimp teppanyaki meal which was salty and did not come with rice. Rice was extra. The miso soup was watered down and bland. The combination sushi platter did not seem like it was worth $35- my choice of roll was the California roll. The dessert was the Krakatoa and the banana maki was ok. The salad that came with the meal was drowned in ginger dressing. Was expecting a more fabulous meal but got average. We had brought our 3 yr old. They did have high chairs but did not have a changing table
in the women's restroom.

Good food. Service was a little slow but they apologized and gave us a free dessert.

I went here after work with a colleague as it was close by and heard had good sushi. We arrived and we were able to sit right now and the waitress was right there with a smile. We ordered an appetizer which was very tasty, and three rolls all good (although the 'San Antonio' roll was my least favorite of the three as there was a lot of onion). The other two rolls were really good and spicy - short term memory has prevented me from remembering except one was salmon and the other crawfish. overall excellent and I will be going back. Finally, want to put another plug in for the waitress. She rocked!

As always, Sushi Zushi makes great sushi. Tried their version of tuna tartare - wow, that was excellent - loved the avocado and tuna together. And I always like their temaki.

It took 40 min to get our happy hour rolls. Our waitress was great but overall service poor. 40 min for raw food is not acceptable. No comps were offered either

Was hoping for Hibachi style Japanese food. Disappointed that this was not what we expected. For the price I did not get all the food I am accustomed to and this was more a la carte. The fried rice was toooo salty. We won't be back. Not for us.

Definitely a Texas twist to some of the rolls. It was a great surprise! Would go back if I am ever in that neighborhood again.

My wife and I enjoyed our time at Sushi Zushi. Even though they did not have a table reserved for us even though we had reserved one, there was a table available in the back, so we took that one and have a lovely meal. Their rolls were delicious, and the mochi ice cream were not very sweet and delicious. Perfect way to end a spicy sushi roll meal. I recommend this place.

Went to celebrate Mother's Day with daughter, didn't know at first what restaurant would be appropriate for the occasion. We both decided on a sushi lunch so immediately I thought of Sushi-Zushi since it is right here in our neighborhood.

We were both very satisfied with the various menu choices, great ambiance, service and a " delicious meal".

We will be returning often to experience other items on the menu.

my wife and i like to come here and eat often and bring our kids too. the food is always great and wait time on food is reasonable. As for service, it varies, sometimes we get a great waiter/waitress, and there's times when we are waiting on drinks, refills or just waiting ready to order.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Food is a bit more expensive than other places compared to the portion sizes you get. But the food was fantastic and we will go again!

We went and got the normal that we usually got but also changed it up and got 2 new items. Waitress was very informative and knew her menu and what selections would work best with the Sake we ordered. Great experience and would definitely go back!

Great Sushi and a great variety of selections. Even a person in our group who doesn't like any kind of seafood had some options to include a Texan Roll that had beef instead of fish.

Ultra slow service. 80 minutes for two rolls and three entrees? Ridiculous.

Moderate quality food at high prices. You can do better in this part of town.

We were pleasantly surprised for a chain restaurant. The ambiance is modern yet comfortable. Deep menu selection good with "real" Japanese items included. The food was good, although they brought a spoon with the miso soup (I guess you just can't get away from that in Texas). Service was great with knowledgeable wait staff. The only issue is they nickel-and-dime you by charging you for the tea, rice, and even for a little side of red pickles that should be standard with curry rice. Once you tally it all up, it comes up over-priced. For Japanese food, I would prefer to go to Godai or Fujiya close by.

I love the neighborhood feel this place has. It is small but cozy. The meu at this place is overwhelming, definitey over 100 items! Our waitress provided some excedllent suggestions and was very interactive with our group. Everyone at the table enjoyed their rolls. Some highlights include: cosimo, godzilla, the b&g, torreado. The only complaint the table agreed on pertained to our cocktails. The cocktails were heavy on soda and fruit juice and very light on the alcohol. However, we would definitely go back to tackle the huge menu!

We had the scallops appetizer, 4 rolls: Janie, New York, Cosimo and Jack. The COSIMO is my absolute favorite now! We also had some wasabi roe, that added a little kick to the meal. For dessert we had the Key lime and the Chocolate cakes. They are small, but both are very great tasting. The lime drizzle was my favorite part :)

My previous experience at this restaurant was unfortunately dissatisfying. We decided to try them again, and reserved a table online. I guess that is the magic key to getting the best table, the best server, and the best food! What a difference! Sitting in the bar dining room is a much more condusive environment to dining than the front room. WOW! Our server Fredrich (sp) was awesome! I regret not leaving him a larger tip. Next time I'm there I will make sure to find him and give him some more of a tip he deserved! We had a most enjoyable lunch and the Plum Wine is divine :) If you like sweet wines, ask for Plum Wine. I loved the Monterey, Jack, and Janie rolls! The Oahu roll had too much breading & it left a 'scraped' feeling on my tongue.

I love hamachi cama! We had several rolls, soup, yakisoba, everything was delicious.

And try the Asahi Black beer! Dark like Guinness, without the soy sauce taste.

We recently returned to the states after living in Japan for 4 years. We were hesitant to visit a sushi restaurant in a land locked town, but our craving outweighted our fears. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and extensive menu. Only one of our Japanese favorites was missing from the menu! We will definitely return.
