This sushi restaurant is one of the best values for the quality of their sushi, The sushi is fresh and very high quality. The appetizers are delicious and the menu is varied. I would whole-heartedly recommend Sushi Yasaka to anyone looking for a great sushi restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
It was awesome!
Great food. We had Usuzukuri, sashimi combo, and nigiri combo, as well as sake and one other appetizer (mushrooms). Fish was all fresh and delicious. Service was good enough, too. The price was very reasonable. We'll definitely go back when we're in NY again.
Almost same quality and taste in Japan. If you prefer authentic sushi, Yasaka is the place to come.

It was my girlfriend’s bday and the food and service was great! Our waiter really helped us choose the best sushi that fits our liking. I will recommend this place to all friends and family!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Sometimes I crave it so much that I just get in a cab and go--just don't try that at dinnertime because without a reservation there's no chance of getting a table. Freshest fish ever. Lovely waitstaff. They've even found a better Pinot Grigio, if wine is your preferred sushi drink.
