Management needs to pay more attention to cleanleness!!!
Excellent sushi lunch - very good value lunch menu when we went. Beautiful sitting outside in the lovely sunshine. Unfortunately - I don't think Sushi Rock has credited my opentable points yet.
Very disappointed sushi rock changed their menu. Why change something if there is nothing wrong? My favorite roll, tiger roll, is no longer on the menu. Sushi rock is my favorite restaurant in the Arlington area, but honestly upon taking away my favorite roll, I likely won't be back anytime soon.
Was my wife's birthday and we wanted to try something different, it was definitely worth the visit.
Great Food. But lastnight I went and had their Daily Tuesday special of $20 off bottles of wine listed on the Menu. No note of a time, and have been told before that they're all day. After the meal i was charged full bottle price and they stated it's not after 9PM. But doesn't state that anywhere. I typically don't pay $65 for an $10 bottle. Not very happy sushi rock.
Update: Sushi Rock provided me a $20 coupon, but doesn't account for the 25% tip and tax on the wine bottle where the special was not honored.
Great sushi at a reasonable price.
Things that drove me crazy -- with tax & tip for two adults we spent $100 and only alcohol was one glass of wine yet my appetizer got lost, entree forgotten, and some of my fish was extra fishy smelling
Food wasn't as fresh as usual
Great value and good selection of food and drinks from happy hour menu , the regular ala carte menu also great ! I'm glad a great sushi place available in my neighborhood within walking distance ❤️
Joined a friend from out of town at Sushi Rock based on a recommendation. Was a little unsure at first--Sushi and rock music? Seems like a strange fusion, like an Asian/Guns'n'Roses restaurant?
The setting turned out to be fun, and the food was great. We ordered rolls and sashimi, and though I'm no expert in Sushi, it was fun and enjoyable to try their rolls.
The downside of the meal was the service. We saw our waitress three times all night; to take our drink order, to take our food order, and to swipe our credit cards. I spent half the time in the restaurant with an empty water glass in front of me. And, I had no one to point out that what was brought to our table was not what we ordered. I ordered a plate of 8 chef's choice sashimi and was brought 11--not even 12 like was another option on the menu. Our friend ordered two pieces of tuna nigiri (with rice) and was brought sashimi (without).
I was also not too happy about the process for paying the bill. In retrospect I should have asked to see our bill and what we were charged for because all ordering and paying is done on iPads. Because of that I didn't see if we were at least charged for what I ordered vs what was delivered to our table. And the only options I saw for tipping were to leave no tip, 18%, or upwards of 18%. That seemed like a lot to tip for for unsatisfactory service, but I didn't want to leave no tip at all.
Otherwise, it was a fun night, good atmosphere, and a lively evening. We'll be going back again.
