Drinks are excellent; I had the whiskey based HIGH WAY TO HELL (strong as always). My husband had the Last Dance; very good too. The appetizer didn't arrive on time, it was served with the main order so we didn't like that. The food was delicious. It felt very loud downstairs, we sat upstairs and it was still loud.

This was our second time dining at Sushi Rock. We experienced amazing customer service in March for my wife’s birthday. Sadly, this was not the case when we visited in July. The A/C vent above my head was leaking and when we told our server, he didn’t offer to move us. When we told the hostess, she replied, “we know” and continued to sit people near the leak area. On top of that, the attention to detail from our server was off this time. In short, this team did not seem tuned in for a Friday night dinner crowd. Very disappointing.

We were late for our reservation and the staff was so nice to allow us to dine. We so appreciate you being accommodating! We were super hungry after having a full day of events and we are just huge fans of your restaurant. It was a perfect ending to our holiday weekend!

So dirty. We walked in with a reservation and only one table was clean enough for us to sit at. Dirty dishes everywhere else. Air conditioner dropped on me the whole time. Couldn’t find staff half the time. Bathroom smelled awful. Insane prices for ok food. Got sick after. Would not do again.

Terrible service. Slow. Appetizers arrived with main. Very slow service, although they did get our orders correct. I put an 18% tip and it came back on the receipt as 20%.

We sat outside to avoid the inside noise, but it was a bit chilly. Our food was mostly good, although my son who recently returned from Japan was not happy with his meal. My beef teriyaki was delicious! Service was kinda slow. I would come back for the beef teriyaki. Not sure my family would return.

We enjoyed the miso soup, bulgogi sliders, the Rainbow Roll, and the You Shook Me All Night Long roll. We ended with the lava cake which was half hot and half room temperature.

The food at Sushi Rock is delicious, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. The drinks were just so so, but the ambiance and atmosphere are awesome. Make sure you sit at the bar during happy hour for discounted sushi and drinks. Unfortunately, they don’t allow you to get the happy hour rates if you sit in the restaurant. Overall a solid choice.

Love the big windows, high ceilings and low level rock vibe that still allows us to chat. Freshest sushi and good choice of menu items. Staff always welcoming and helpful. Lunch specials provide so much good food at great prices. A favorite spot in Arlington.

Our party had a shellfish allergy that was noted in the reservation, and the waitress acknowledged she was aware of the allergy before we said anything. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and they were delivered on 1 plate. We immediately noticed 1 roll had shrimp on top of it and asked for it to be remade. She returned with the roll still having shellfish in it. Then, she expected us to eat the other roll on the plate that didn't have shellfish but was placed extremely close to the allergen on the plate. So disappointing as we've been regularly dining at Sushi Rock over the last 4 years but will not be returning. The service put us in danger.

Dimly lit for a reason…it is dirty. Waited nearly an hour—yes an hour—for our food. Even our waiter was embarrassed. When the sushi finally arrived, it was highly disappointing. When you charge $17 for a specialty roll, the expectation is that the quality and quantity would justify the expense. It did not. Roils were meager in size and poorly constructed. I would sooner pay a fraction for FAR better sushi at the Whole Foods down the block and enjoy it in the comfort of our home. Regretting my choice for a family dinner; my teenagers stated it best: “That place sucked”. Lesson learned.

The food and drinks were great! Will definitely be back for the sushi. It was a Sunday and the game was on so it was a little rowdy crowd. The waiter was partially knowledgeable of the menu, kept stepping away to ask questions. Parking was easy because of the garage for their patrons.
