    Yet another fabulous dinner of sashimi, cooked fish, veggies, and meat at Sushiko! Outstanding dishes, especially the pork belly and the hot-rock beef. Pam is a fabulous server -- we request her every time, and she always provides magnificent service. Highly recommended!

    My husband and I had a wonderful evening here. Coming in the restaurant felt clean and cozy and was quiet which is nice when lots of places now have you shouting to speak to someone next to you. Service was great, and the food was amazing. Tried several things on the menu and it was hard to choose a favorite. I highly recommend this place and will surely come back and try new things. Also, this place it shellfish allergy friendly, just let your server know!

    Here you can sit down and enjoy a classy Japanese dinner. We hadn't been in a while because it can be hard to get into. It was more approachable on a Sunday night. The sushi was high quality and nicely presented. Veg tempura more artistic than elsewhere. My only quibble was that I'm used to tekka don with slices of tuna, and I found the "tartare" less aesthetically pleasing. The cocktails - featuring various juices, fruits, sake, etc - are delicious. Note: they validate parking.

    The service was wonderful, and not distressed over two of my guests being late due to traffic. The food was all delicious. I recommend the soft shell crab appetizer.

    Absolutely fantastic, every time. The pork ribs are pure magic, as are the Brussels sprouts. I also got the Salmon and crispy crab sushi rolls. Unreal.

    We eat at Sushiko once each week because it's just that good. The dishes are authentically Japanese and the sushi is very high quality. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable, to everyone, not just the regulars. If you find the prices high, then order the bento box. It's a tremendous value. I almost always get the chicken gyoza which are wonderful. And there's an excellent new lobster dish on the menu. Since the pandemic Sushiko has cut back on its dining space and stopped serving lunch both of which I hope return. But for now, be sure to make an advanced reservation. They can be hard to come by on weekends and you can't just walk in then.

    Great food but would not recommend for a date night or evening out where you would like to linger for a conversation. Service was efficient but rather too rushed ...Many empty tables so we didn't see why they were in a hurry to have diners leave in under 20 minutes!

    The quality and presentation of the fish remain faultless. You could eat varieties of sensational tuna here all night. Among favored appetizers, the gyoza has slipped while the katsu pork ribs retain their sweet magic. If you really want to indulge, your meal will be pricey, be ready, and the dining space has gotten a bit rough around the edges, but the service remains cheerful and low key with just the right amount of attentiveness. The chefs cut fish beautifully. You know you're in the presence of the good stuff, which overrides the lack of value, which isn't what you go for anyway. I also miss the action and interaction at an actual sushi bar, and I wish it would come back. Sushi Ko holds its class edge over all but the very few very best.

    Sushiko had good food and great ambience, but it was unreasonably expensive. I prefer our local neighborhood Japanese place Yosaku. I guess I would come back to Sushiko if I wanted a sushi special occasion feast, but not for a regular Sunday evening meal with my wife.

    Sushiko was a big disappointment until dessert. The edamame seemed mushy, not crisp. The soft-shell crabs were tasteless. The banana tempura with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was delicious. This was not up to the Sushiko standard I have enjoyed in the past.

    Enjoyed eating outside. We had two small children with us and the staff were very attentive to what food they might like and their need for special chopsticks. we all enjoyed the food as usual on a delightful evening.

    Sushiko has been a go to place for more than 25 years. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. The staff is friendly and efficient. I relocated to NYC, and, as good as the sushi can be, I haven’t found a place that has the ‘whole package.’ A reservation is a must whenever I am in town.

    We enjoy Sushiko so much that we dine there once a week, every week. All the food is on par with a quality restaurant one would find in Japan (we would know because we go there often, too.) Over the years, the food has been consistently good and the servers are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Due to the fallout of Covid, Sushiko has closed one of their three dining rooms and stopped serving lunch. As a result it's really wise to make a reservation a few days in advance. A few favorite dishes are the gyoza, any nigiri, and a new addition, lobster and mushrooms. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    It is very noisy and the lighting needs to be reconsidered. I usually order nigiri but instead I order chirashi, which was a big disappointment. My friend ordered a bento box, and it was delicious.

    Lovely food and melt in your mouth sushi. People that complain about the prices and portions are used to lower grade fish with rice filler big rolls. This place is amazing. Ignore the haters.
