The food was great...the appa, rolls, hinachi were superb! The waiter was quite knowledgeable and the Birthday greetings and fried cheesecake were wonderful!!!! We brought friends from out of town and cannotwait to return on our own. Excellent experience!!!!!
Great dinner as always! Everyone enjoyed it!
My family and I decided to try Sushi Go for the first time recently. We're all sushi lovers and were really excited. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful and friendly, and we had a really nice evening.
I have lived in Tokyo for over 10 years, so I can assure you this is the best sushi in town. The fish is so fresh, it practically melts in your mouth. It is soooo good. I can’t speak for the ramen, yakitori etc as we only go for the nigiri and sashimi. Highly recommend
Sushi GO has high quality, authentic Japanese cuisine at the best prices in Greenville. This is the hole in the wall you want be in on.
Everything was awesome except the music. We would have liked to have Japanese music.
Sushi was creative and fresh. Don't worry with the Nigiri, though. It's very thin with hardly any rice under it. The rolls and appetizers, though, are well-portioned and very good. We will definitely go back.
First the location is down town and parking is a pain for sure. Second. I booked this reservation on this site where it claimed there were only a few openings for seating, when in fact the restaurant was 80% empty.
Now the service was terrible. I observed and overheard two separate customers complaints about poor service. At one point when I mentioned to my waitress that she’s seems to be having a tough night. She said, “try working for a Japanese Boss”.
This restaurant had great reviews but I found it to be mismanaged and average at best for a sushi restaurant. The food was ok but nothing special.
The owner needs to fire himself!
Second time we have visited. Food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. You want sushi downtown Greenville this is the place to go
Best sushi in greenville hands down! Get bar selection as well, friendly staff. I absolutely love it!
Amazing. Best sushi in Greenville.
The food was the best I ever remember it being. Although there were only 4 mussels in the dish, they were the best I have ever had, with a great sweet and spicy taste. The other sushi was also very good as we have come to expect, because it was mostly what we usually order.
SUSHI GO provides very good food with excellent service. Now my third visit and I have yet to be disappointed. Not a place to go for the chic, lively ambiance – go for the food and service.
Amazing!! I recently started keto and was afraid I may not find any good options. I was wrong. They made some great suggestions and nothing disappointed. The service from the wait staff and the sushi chef were great! I will be back!
The food is always good here. I don't think I've had a bad roll. We like the location, the price, the service and the food.
The food was good and waitress was very kind! Service was a little slow at the end, but thankfully the restaurant wasn't crowded, and we were in no rush. Sushi is always kind of pricey, so that was no exception, but we were going there for a special occasion and the taste was good! They brought out ice cream for everyone at the end for birthdays we were celebrating, which I wasn't expecting when I made the reservation. We got to sit in a small back room that was cozy and quiet.
Excellent quality and variety. Attentive , professional and friendly staff.
My new favorite sushi restaurant! Tried 5 different rolls. All very good. Two in our crowd had stir fry. Both liked and would order again. Waitress knew wine and food menu and assisted with ordering. You should try it!
The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. My husband and I had drinks, an appetizer and shared some sushi rolls. Everything was very fresh. We will definitely being going back.
The sushi here is possibly Greenville's best. We'll go back to gather more data. XD
One of the best sushi dishes i’ve ever had. Udon was bland, no flavor, no spice. Wife’s sushi had a 10+ inch hair in it (disgusting).
Best sushi I have had in a long time. Sushi had unique and thoughtful flavor combinations. So fresh tasting and well seasoned. Service was great as well. Love the hot towels too. Very enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back!
Super fresh fish for sushi. Thankful they don’t drown every roll in sauce - I want to taste the ingredients! Ask for Juliet, she knows her way around the menu well! We loved all her recommendations.
Our very favorite sushi spot. Top notch. Food and service are excellent. Fine dining, not quickly Japanese
SushiGO is by far the #1 best sushi restaurant in Greenville- probably also the entire southeast. It is owned by a master sushi chef, and a master chef from the original Yagoto cultural center is still there. A++++++.
The waitress was so sweet and patient she showed me and my wife how to hold chop sticks and told us about sushi since it was our first time ever
Sushi GO is the best sushi restaurant in Greenville, hands down. The menu is rich with choices and they almost always have uni, one of my personal favorites. My wife and I love to celebrate at Sushi GO. Any reason is a good reason to dine at Sushi GO.
The service was excellent. The food was delicious with a great presentation.
Trrrible service and too much onterrupting
Sushi Go always has the freshest fish at the best prices with the best service. Very authentic Japanese cuisine.
My wife and I love going here. The sushi is the best sushi around. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Sushi was excellent! Service was top notch as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here!
Spring rolls were different but delicious and fresh tasting. Raw sushi was excellent did not care for breading on fried sushi. It was sweet. We will visit again. I loved the plate served with greenery and flowers.
Absolutely amazing experience! Customers loved it!
This review is based on a one time visit. We were excited to try something different in the Greenville area. We much enjoyed the baked muscles as an appetizer, they had a lot of flavor. We ordered martinis and they arrived warm, not shaken or stirred but warm, poured into the glass from the bottle. Our server prepared drinks, she did not know how to make a martini. We let it roll and let her know it was alright; kept it positive and sent them back. The rolls were okay... most of them “California roll” based. Most of the sashimi was okay, the mackerel was “fishy.” We won’t give up on finding a great sushi place. Heck, if Las Vegas can do it, so can Greenville.
Service was outstanding! The sushi go mule was delicious along with the New Zealand line caught salmon! I highly recommend this place! Best sushi in Greenville! Pricey but it accurately reflects the quality of the food. Our go to Sushi!
This was my 2nd time eating at Sushi Go on a Friday night. Food was fantastic but the service was lacking. The waitress was very apologetic for not getting to us faster. And it was pretty busy but the other tables around us seem to have gotten their food faster and was out the door before us even though we came in after. It could have just been an off night.
Food was good and service ok but a bit pushy to get us to order while we wanted to chat. Tried to call them after we left as we had left a golf cap on the seat but they don’t answer the phone which is disappointing. Guess you can only book with Opentable
We decided to eat at Sushi Go after reading all the great reviews. The reviews did not lie! We ordered 5 different rolls and they were all fresh, unique and full of flavor. We will definitely be returning.
Their sushi is amazing. Kay, their new sushi chef, is amazing. If you're looking for a great sushi place in Greenville, this one is the best.
