Place is well located. Restaurant looks good, with nice japanese decoration. Staff was very nice. Food was good, shrimp tempura very good with a nice size of shimp. Rolls were very good aswell. Just a little bit disappointed by the quality of the salmon (for the nigiri). Not a super good quality.

Absolutely fabulous sushi, fast service with great server. However the music cannot even be described as loud… it’s ridiculous! We had reservations and when we were walking up could hear the music and the greeter couldn’t hear us over the music. I’m not talking loud but rattle the windows loud. We opted to dine outside to be able to enjoy ourselves but the music blared thru the windows still where it was difficult to have a pleasant conversation. Would be 5 star and a place we would frequently go as we are residents but no way with the noise level being ear shattering.

I made reservations and the host denied us to sit out side. She said it was full. No option to wait a few minutes or to be seated at one of the open tables outside. My husband loved his fish dish and i had the soba noodle salad. A bit to much of romaine Larges pieces and the sushi portion came at the end of the meal. No offeringa of dessert.

The service was not the best. We got seated right away in the outside space and then were served water. Then it took a while for someone to come take our order. I had to go inside to get someone’s attention and then our order was taken. Customer service needs to be improved. There were plenty of staff and not many customers.

The service was wonderful and super quick. The sushi was absolutely delicious especially some of the nigiri we chose. I’d eat here again in a heart beat if we had more time on the island.

Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and there were so many options to choose from beyond sushi and sashimi. Large selection of cocktails, beer, sake, and drinks. In a newer roadside marketplace not a ton of ambiance but the food was the main draw. Bowl of white rice for $4.50 was ridiculous though....Would dine again.

Sadly, sushi was underwhelming; both in quality and in quantity. The udon was meh. The only good thing about the meal was the iced green tea!!!

Sushi Bushido is a must every time we're on Kauai. Love the food and the staff is always freindly. Their new location in the Coconut Marketplace is great and has really improved the whole dining experinece. Mahalo!

My wife and I sat at the sushi bar and had a fantastic dinner prepared by Victor, owner/ sushi chef. We had a combination of nigiri, sashimi and a Golden Roll. All outstanding, fresh and super tasty. Easy walk to the restaurant from our hotel. Highly recommend!

Great service and environment. Seated right away w reservations, servers were attentive and service was quick. Food was a bit expensive for the quality. Sushi was average but the Boss’ steak was our favorite.

Had a 7:30 pm reservation for a party of three. When we arrived there were several open tables and four open spots at the Sushi bar. We were told that we couldn’t be seated for a while per the managers direction. A party of two came in and I asked if the had a reservation and they said no but they had been waiting a while for a table, they were seated before those of us that had a reservation. 45 minutes later we were finally seated but told it would be a wait for food because the kitchen was backed up. Just not a good experience.

Kind of pricey but would dine there again. I loved my soba salad. Hubby ordered the seafood baked in tinfoil which was small. He had to order sushi to feel full. Bill for the two of us $70.
