We’ve been coming to Supper at the Emma for the last 5 years and it’s AMAZING every single time! The service is fantastic and the waiters are one of a kind! The food is stellar I’ve never had a bad meal ever they food is fresh and delicious. Everyone needs to experience Supper you will not be let down.
Having dined here multiple times, this was a sad, lackluster, disappointing experience. Service was unapologetically slow and without urgency. Bread service was requested 3x’s and mediocre and day old at best. Some entrees were as expected while others were substandard. We were a group of eight for a post Thanksgiving family dinner. As a local, we will not be back. Our dinner felt like a tourist trap capitalizing on people with means who seldomly dine out.
This was my 2nd time eating here and I was not let down. The atmosphere was great and had the added benefit of the Christmas lights were lit in the pearl. Waitstaff were pleasant and attentive. Food was amazing as the first time. Tried different dishes this time around and was not disappointed.
Beautiful restaurant, very good food. Presentation was great.
Supper has stepped up their game. Didn't always love the dinner, but the last few times we have dinned here, have been outstanding. Much higher quality and better service than any other of the pearl restaurants. A must try for Thanksgiving dinner as well (best turkey dinner we have ever had)! Great place to have in the rotation.
Great staff !!
I made reservations to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from military boot camp. We started our meal with the shrimp hush puppies which were amazing. She had the steak and I gad the Thanksgiving turkey dinner (this was on Thanksgiving day). She thoroughly enjoyed her dinner. I would be remiss not to mention that to our surprise, a thoughtful and generous couple paid for our dinner. We were in tears for such a beautiful random act of kindness. Thank you to whoever you are. I will continue your kindness to another military man or women when least expected.
Then, as if this were not enough, one of the chefs treated my daughter to a beautiful cheese cake that was a culinary work of art. We are blessed.
My wife and sister-in-law had a great thanksgiving dinner... Turkey and dressing and trimmings!
Also I had a strip steak ,cooked medium rare to perfection and well seasoned.
Great experience sitting at the counter overlooking the kitchen.
This was the first experience dining out for Thanksgiving lunch and now I’m afraid I’ll want to pass on family and do this every year. Haha
Wonderful ambiance where we arrived about 30 minutes early for a cocktail at the bar before lunch. Our bartender was so fun and engaging making it even more fun for us. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out.
Lunch offered an option for a lovely Thanksgiving meal but we chose other options. Hubby got the burger and I chose the deep fried quail. Wow, food was delicious and service was exceptional. I’ll definitely be visiting Supper again.
Arrived early they were not very busy but seemed understaffed. Our server was pleasant as was the manager. Food was decent not the best I’ve ever had but above average. Very limited wine list and and beer menu. The patio and property at Hotel Emma is beautiful.
Lovely spot for an intimate meal. We were in San Antonio for four days. This was the best place we ate at.
Excellent service and exceptional food!
Everyone was so welcoming from the time I stepped foot into the restaurant. Michelle who took my order made recommendations that were superb! Ambience, service and food were top notch! Looking forward to coming again.
Overall, good food! Waitress was very professional. Great atmosphere!
Outstanding, as always.
Overall unremarkable . My husband had the fried quail on the recommendation of the waitress but considered the quail disappointing. My bronzini was Ok. Desert was the best part of the meal. Will not return.
Great service, great cocktails and delicious dinner! Able to graciously accommodate my dietary restrictions as well.
Everything about our experience was wonderful. We went to celebrate our Anniversary and everyone made us feel special. Our waitress, Lucia, was sweet, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.
A beautiful restaurant that is attached to the Hotel Emma. The apps and entrees were fantastic, and the drinks were great. The brunch is also wonderful. There is so much to say about this place - you must go!
Ate outside. Beautiful with the Christmas lights. Heaters were very helpful. Food was good but service was very slow and inattentive. Have been here many times before and the service was always much better than it was last night.
Supper is a very nice restaurant in Hotel Emma. Since we were staying at the hotel, we loved the convenience of stepping just a few feet from the elevator to the restaurant. Service was very attentive and the food and wine were delicious! Definitely recommend!
Beautiful restaurant in hotel with great ambiance, helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic waitstaff, and delicious food and wine
Highly recommend for anyone who’s out of town. Nice view outside. Extremely friendly service staff and delicious food
Overall, it was a “good” meal - not great, but not bad. The salad had way too much dressing on it - literally drenched. Couldn’t eat about half of it. And the quail was good, but there really wasn’t much actual meat on the plate. The setting was lovely (outside) and the service was very good.
Love the location and ambiance. I ordered the sunny side up eggs with the Spanish tortilla. I got cold eggs with a salad with a few has brown potatoes. The only thing it had in common with a Spanish tortilla was they both have potatoes in them. My husband’s French omelette was Luke warm. Our server was great and very attentive. I don’t mind paying for good food but this didn’t live up to the price.
The food was great. I have never had a bad meal here. I had the spinach salad and the strip steak and both were delicious. My guest liked the coconut soup and the chicken.
I would avoid the chocolate dessert with fruit on top because it was rather dry. They said it was made with almond flour and is meant to taste more like a brownie, but I would not recommend it. The sticky toffee pudding is a good option as a dessert, instead.
We ate outside at night and it was beautiful. The Christmas lights were up, which made it even better. The first table they tried to give us overlooked the parking lot, instead of the river. We asked for a different table and they graciously complied.
Quail were excellent!
The food was really good. Well seasoned, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The servers and hostess were very pleasant, however our wait time was so long. The food was worth the wait in the end.
The food is excellent. The choices might be somewhat limited but the dishes are well-prepared.
Great outdoors ambiance!
Limited choice from the menu. The quality of food were OK but amount of the food were very less, my husband said he still feel hungry... Very disappointed!
Great service and delicious meal.
Very limited menu choices. Overcharged for wine 56 dollars for 2 glasses of wine .
Food was superb. The risotto to die for. Everyone is so service oriented and has been well trained to try to meet the customers needs. I so appreciate that type of service.
We were sat at right behind the bar. The space is very tight, our party of 3 felt squeezed in and there was no real ambiance where we sat. The food was okay, my chicken came out warm…not hot. It was an okay meal for a high $$$$ amount. I suggest sitting outside where the ambiance is a little better.
