Our server was very wonderful and the food was great
Great food, great service, great fun. We were lucky a friend who recommended Supper. I did not realize it but I had been there before several years ago, but I loved it the then and I loved now!
My fiancé and I sat right in the middle of the restaurant yet we felt like we had a private dining experience. The service is excellent, food is amazing (kudos to the chef!), the decor and atmosphere of Hotel Emma is just indescribable. Highly recommend!
What an outstanding experience! From the time I set up the reservation to the waitress telling us to have a good evening,it was amazing. I will definitely let everyone know to come have a great experience at a wonderful restaurant.
Everything was perfect. We loved the brussels, scallop crudo, the steak, the wine selection, and our margaritas! Thank you for making our celebration perfect.
The food was just ok this time. I had the turkey sandwich and my husband had the tres leches French toast. The bar was slow getting our drinks out. Overall it was overpriced for what we got. We’ve never done brunch here before, I don’t think we would do it again.
Excellent customer service. The steak is delicious. Great wine selection. Love the location, great for dates. We will definitely go again!
Was going to go to another place, but they were booked. Decided to give Supper a shot to celebrate our anniversary and they exceeded expectations. Food was a delight and the service was top notch. We will be going again soon, and not just for special events.
Lovely in every way
Favorite place in San Antonio
Menu has become a little too exotic for my wife and my taste. Good food still though and great service. Wife had the steak which was ok, but not great. I had the bronzini fish and it was covered up with so much other stuff that I had a hard time realizing that I was eating fish. Martinis were fabulous.
The wait staff was extremely friendly. I went for my birthday, they made me feel special. The food was amazing. I was surprised as to how big the portions were for the price. So you definitely get your value. The ambience is calming
So good that it was our second time this week to entertain friends.
The duck confirm was amazing! Awesome service and the ambiance was perfect for our 18th year anniversary.
Pretty restaurant in a stunning hotel with quality food
Waitress came to check on us twice. For drinks then food. I told them it was my friends 30th and the waitress said she’d bring out a dessert. Instead she brought our checks and we left. We sat outside on a cold night and sat next to the heater. Before our food even came out they turned the heaters off on us and it was 7:40pm. Very very disappointed and will not be coming back after the poor service we received.
Such great service! The hotel manager Paul recommended the restaurant and not only was the food great but the service was outstanding. Our waitress offered our iced teas to go at the end of the meal and even to place an order for their prized brussel sprouts which are only offered on the dinner menu.
Get the beignets!
I went to Supper Wednesday night 5:30 with my sister and brother in-law, when they came to visit from Nashville. We ordered almost everything on the menu. I can say the food was good, however it was anything special/different than any other high end restaurant. What surprised me were the generous portions. I wasn’t expecting to get as much food as they gave us. It was worth the money. My server was so-so. She was nice and friendly but didn’t pay attention to important factors. I let her know in the beginning that I was allergic to gluten. She acknowledged it and was very knowledgeable when we ordered the appetizers, letting me know which ones I personally couldn’t eat. When it came time to order our main meal, I ordered the quail. On the menu it just says crispy quail. I just assumed it was charred. Turns out it was battered. I didn’t know till it was brought to me. I had to switch plates with my wife. I feel like the server should have caught that and told me.
Hotel Emma and the restaurant Supper, in general, had a great ambience. It is a very beautiful place. Will come back just for the ambience.
The ambience makes the first impression. It was intimate, sophisticated, upscale, yet on some level... unpretentious and approachable. Cozy, too. We had two entrees, the seasonal pumpkin and saffron gnocchi, which was absolutely fabulous!! The other was a menu mainstay, fried quail. That one was a little disappointing. Good flavor but some pieces seemed overcooked while others weren't cooked enough. The chocolate dessert we had was gorgeous and delicious!!! Great staff and service, too. And our stroll around the Hotel Emma beforehand was jaw-dropping!!
Great experience! Fabulous food! Exceptional service!
Best service in San Antonio!
Delicious food though the playing presentation for the branzino was a little clumsy.
Regardless, a delightful dinner in every other way. We will gladly come back.
We would have liked another meat option. Wines were too pricey.
Per usual, our experience at Supper was fantastic. The service is always amazing as is the food. We ordered the avocado toast which had an incredible flavor from the pepitas. The tres leches French toast was extremely filling and flavorful.
We were seated very late. We arrived at 8:05 for an 8:15 reservation. We were seated at 8:45. Our waiter Dominick was attentive and excellent but there was a significant delay in our entrees and we finally were served that at 10:15. Our waiter gave us two drinks on the house to make up for it. Again, the wait staff was excellent and I appreciated him being aware and active. The food was good, the appetizers and small plates especially. My pork shoulder didn’t have apples, which seemed an important omission.
Fabulous service pared with delicious food. The ambience just heightened the energy of the night. I ate until I couldn’t move. Check it out!!! Should be first on your list when you visit San Antonio!
Wonderful restaurant in every way--food, service, ambiance, and a beautiful location on the river and in tue Emma Hotel.
Awesome meal and very nice atmosphere. A bit loud for a romantic evening out though.
Restaurant shares the very hip vibe of the hotel. Service, from the Host to the servers & bar staff are super. Food is inventive and delicious.
Everything we ordered was exceptional. Our server, Gabby, was amazing start to finish. I’m definitely putting supper on to my brunch rotation.
The food and service were excellent. We especially appreciate a table being found for us at 8:30 on a Saturday night. That said, the dining room was too loud for a dinner for two. We found our conversation drowned out by boisterous large parties. In the future we will book a table outside, where it is much quieter.
Great experience! Some of the best food we’ve had in the San Antonio area.
Best restaurant in Sa!
Very courteous wait staff. Very glad I’m a local and can come back to this location at any event.
Food was excellent quality, service was a bit slow but it was during peak hour. Business is good but you need more than 1 hr
Old school manners and service. Our go to breakfast spot in San Antonio. Fabulous menu. Fabulous view. Fabulous atmosphere. A treat to spend time at Supper.
Omelet was dried out
Would not order it again
Great meal. Great and super quick service. Very elegant food with a casual vibe in the dining room
Girls weekend with cousins and sisters. Great food and service
Supper is a Great location for a dinner date! The menu is interesting and the drink selections are unique.
We really enjoyed our evening, I had the Apple Cider Braised Pork it was perfect! Highly Recommend!
