Visiting San Antonio for the first time and if the food and service are any indication of what to expect we are in for a treat! Food was fantastic, craft cocktails were exciting and creative, and the desserts were out of this world. Dom was meticulous, personable, and offered great insight and service. We hope to be back soon.
I had the lamb strudel. It was a bit gamey but ate almost all of it.
Very nice restaurant. It was especially nice to watch the chefs work in the kitchen. A very efficient, professional group of chefs. The food was outstanding. A wonderful setting in a top tier hotel. Looking forward to our next visit.
I just always love dining here - for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu changes enough to be intriguing, but not so much that I can’t get the dishes I crave. And the service consistently balances friendly with professional. It’s a treat to spend time here and it will be one of the very first places I head to when we can dine out like normal people again.
Excellent as always.
Interesting and tasty. Great service!
This was our fourth visit to Supper and it did not disappoint. It’s our go to place for relaxed ambience, great service and delicious food.
Lovely dinner at Supper. Our waiter and the supporting staff were fantastic and attentive. The food recommendations were spot on. We started with the Brussels sprouts which were amazing and salted cod & potato croquets in a yummy aioli. From there we shared the beef, cauliflower and risotto which were all well seasoned and perfectly delightful. We were intentional to split an entree so we could enjoy dessert - and the lemon basil cake delivered the treat we were looking for to end the meal! Excellent visit!
First time visit with reservations made beforehand. Saturday brunch with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. Loved the old school vibe the building has. Food was pretty and delicious. Richard took care of us, was knowledgeable and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. The postcards were a surprise treat that came with our bill. We will be back again.
This is a special occasion restaurant and they treat you like it. I had the quail. Spicy and succulent. The opera cake is a real treat. We just wish we had Supper at home!
Food is great but small portions and expensive
My boyfriend and I went for my birthday dinner. Supper is an amazing restaurant. If you have not tried it, I urge you too!!!
This was my second visit to Supper. My husband and I dined there Alamo Bowl 2019. I returned because I am enamored by the architecture of the Hotel Emma, and I wanted to see if the food at Supper is still delicious. It surpassed my memory.
I dined alone as I was in town for the AWP Conference, and I was treated as any other table of two, three or four. Dana my server was superb. Friendly and confident in steering me to delicious choices. I will always remember the delicate flavors and textures of the walleye I ordered. If I lived in town, I’d return daily to Supper to eat that dish repeatedly until it is no longer in season. I highly recommend Supper.
Lovely & delicious
Supper is my favorite place to eat when I'm in San Antonio. The menu changes fairly regularly, but there's always something great to eat.
Great service and wonderful food...portions were plentiful. This trip to Supper was for dinner, but we really like to stop by for brunch on Sunday after church. Breakfasts are awesome and very reasonably priced.
I come here regularly - at least once or twice a week
Kim was a great server! Supper added a risotto and it was amazing. We also sat outside on such a beautiful evening.
served pancakes.. waited over 10 min to get syrup. wanted coffee.. another 10 min..
Fantastic. Superb service and genuine honest to goodness great food!!
This is my "go to" restaurant in SA to take out of town guests. Food and service are superb. Great drinks from the bar. You can't beat the ambience of the restaurant or the hotel for that matter. My favorite dish is the quail, but don't forget the brussel sprouts!
Came here when they first opened and wasn’t really impressed, but figured I’d give them a try again. Food and drinks were a little eclectic for my taste, but I’m sure others would enjoy it.
Lunch with a few friends. Food satisfaction was variable. The fried green tomatoes and smoked salmon sandwich received the highest ratings. The crispy cauliflower and brussel sprouts dish was sweeter and "soupier" than normal and it lacked the usual pop of spice that I loved when having this in the past. The least favored item was the ham and cheese sandwich. My friend was disappointed at the scant amount of meat and the texture of the bread (she said it was very soggy). She requested that it be made without jalepenos yet there were a few present on the sandwich. When our server checked on us and asked how everything was, my friend mentioned her sandwich issues and our server simply said, "yes...it's like that sometimes" which was a bit disappointing.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was even better.
Amazing food and service , can’t wait to try their menu again.
We always host visiting business clients at Supper in Hotel Emma. They never let you down.
Always a phenomenal experience at Supper. Food is always delectable and the ambiance is exquisite.
Fantastic meal!! We had branzino and quail.
Also, amazing salad and lamb meatballs.
Very good food. Scotch egg was excellent.
Awesome service and a great menu! Rally enjoyed it
Were seated at a table for at least 10 people even though we had a reservation for 4 We had decent service , food was Ok. After 2 hr 45 min we were asked to leave because our table was needed for a large party.
This was offensive and negatively capped an evening that would ordinarily have encouraged us to return.
Supper is a beautiful space with food to match. We celebrated my wife's birthday there with a brunch and loved it. The bacon is a must order as is the Avocado Toast with pumpkin seeds.
This was an astonishing evening with great service, ambiance and delicious food. The serving staff were enthusiastic, working as a team to deliver a remarkable experience. I had no idea what to expect and my expectations were beyond surpassed. The food felt original and inspired without being fussy or over-produced. Everything we tasted was exceptional. An authentic vibe manifested in the hospitality of the bar staff, waiters, and kitchen crew whose energy and passion sent waves through the dining room.
The service here is what bugged me. They kept referring to us as “we.” Like “what are we having?” Or “would we like anything else?” The bloody Mary’s we’re by far the worst I have ever had in my life, which is too bad. We got the avocado toast, which was good but they bussed the table before one of my table mates was done eating. The service just left a bad taste in my mouth.
My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day and everything was great! Our waiter was so nice and attentive and patient with our indecisiveness. We loved the lamb meatballs and the beignets.
