My spouse and I really enjoyed the service. #21 is a very good service attendant (sa). I would recommend him anytime. Love his hospitality and his willingness to laugh with us. The other (sa) didn't mind stepping in while our (sa) was busy with other customers.
My wife and I came over to celebrate her birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening together in your establishment. Our drive to your restaurant was two hours round trip, but that did not take away from our enjoyment. We enjoyed the drinks, food, and the service. We are looking forward to another visit.
Great gem to find in Shreveport. We come a couple times a year and eat our way through the visit. Can't believe we did not find this before. Food was great on par with Capital Grill, Ruth Chris', Perry's and other great steak houses. A little pricy though for Shreveport.
I went here for our birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. The calamari was fantastic, and we had the special which was also very good. My only complaint about the food was that I thought the mashed potatoes were pretty bland and ordinary.

We love to visit Shreveport and decided to try Superior's Steakhouse again after visiting about 3 years ago. This became the highlight of our trip. First we were seated in the back room which is cozy with a fire in the fireplace. The waiter, Taylor was great and helped with our food choices. The food was superb! We love to eat out and this is now our favorite restaurant.
My wife and I went for our anniversary. We do not live in Shreveport, but love Superior Grill for TEX Mex and had heard the steakhouse was really good so we chose to spend the day in Shreveport and have a nice dinner at Superior's. A little background to put things in perspective. We regularly travel to Houston, Dallas and other large cities. We often eat at high quality restaurants, so our comparisons are to some pretty good places. First the good: Avalon was an excellent waitress. She was never away for long and the staff was attentive to us. We ate around 6:00 so the restaurant was not overly crowded during most of our meal. The wedge salad was excellent ranking as good as we've had anywhere. The house made dressings were excellent. The baked potato was what you would expect. The cheesecake was good, but not overly sweat. Since this was our anniversary, they offered this on the house - a nice touch. The ambiance was better than most places and we felt welcomed and relaxed. Now for the not so good - the steak! It was not bad, however, it fell far short of our expectations. I ordered a filet medium + and it was cooked as expected. The problem is that the searing on top and bottom were very tough. I expected tender throughout, but that was not the case. In addition, there was little taste to the steak. Again, it was not bad, but I've had many steaks that cost less than this $48 filet that tasted much better. Overall, not a bad choice, but if we go back we probably would not get a steak.
Only issue with the space is music from the bar which was live and good, wasn't piped into the dining room so we had two differerent sources playing at same time and had to move.
Bisque was almost absent of lobster and had only one shrimp in it. At the price, it should have had a few more pieces.
Daughter was disappointed that they hadn't made the pasta so couldnt have the pasta dish she was looking for.
My salmon was very good.
Service was attentive and friendly and efficient.
Food is decent. The resturant is a five star for Shreveport, and service nears a 5 star level but giving only 4 for lack of wine knowledge, forgot some of the order twice and the food excellence.....steaks versus price way off. Harrahs steak house is probably a better choce.
Love this place! The attention to detail is over the top. We had an amazing lunch recommended to us by our incredibly attentive and knowledgeable bartender. Amazing how great service is here, and how much the staff enjoys what they do. Thank you for an outstanding lunch.

The service was outstanding, the wine list awesome, the menu had many nice selections, but when the food was received, it was warm not hot, and just had mild flavor.
Definitely not worth the price we paid for dinner for two.
This was our anniversary, and I'm not disappointed that we chose this restaurant. I will try other restaurants before coming back to superior.
We have been to Superior quite a few times in the past and, until last night, was our favorite restaurant in the Shreveport /Bossier area. As always, the general staff were spot on and very professional. We never spoke with a manager because he never approached our table. We anticipated that someone in management would have visited our table because we had to send my girlfriends halibut with crab risotto back for being undercooked/ cold and my ribeye back for being to rare ( I always get steak and its typical to send it back to tweak but it was definitely not a $48 piece of beef and her cold, undercooked fish was not good ) she didn't order sushi. The marrinated crab claws were our apetizer and although tasty they were very small. Hoping her favorite desert would ease the unpleasant meal, we ordered creme brulee but needed a hammer to break the 1/4 layer of sugar. We didn't finish any of our dinner or desert. That's right, I didn't finish my steak and she didn't finish the brulee! First time for both of us. At first we couldn't understand why there were so many empty tables on a Saturday night, as 7:00, but now we know. The complete lack of attention to details in the kitchen and the unengaged manager who walked past us several times without a word or glance has left us looking elsewhere for a good meal. The complete meal with tip was $181.
Have wanted to eat here for some time based on friend's recommendations. We are in the area every month on Sundays, but the restaurant isn't open that evening. We were so excited to visit the area on a Friday, which allowed us to finally eat here. The evening started nice. Our server, Preston was very personable and attentive....until a large party arrived about 20 minutes after us. He literally forgot about us and spent his time with them. He literally kept walking past us to get to them. The bus boy was more attentive to us than Preston...which is why we were sure to tip and thank him. Our steaks were warm...which really ruined our evening. When Preston finally came to check on us, I informed him our steaks were not hot, I also informed we did not appreciate him forgetting us when the large party arrived. We quickly got our check and had dessert in the bar, in order to salvage our evening. Truly had a great time in the bar. Very disappointing 1st experience at this restaurant.
