The restaurant was over booked. Placed our order only to find out they were out of the alligator bites. Then they were out of the surf and turf. Service was really slow due to being over booked. Received water the appetizer then drinks followed by bread. Everything was out of order. Food service tried to bring us wrong steaks and server couldn’t identify a bone in filet versus the bone in ribeye steak he tried to drop off. When we received our steak cream corn brûlée was brought out late. Then it wasn’t even cream corn brûlée. It was just cream corn and server didn’t know difference had to get manager involved. Manager got it fixed then comped it off ticket. Wasn’t an amazing dinner but food was a bit above average. Was disappointed

My son ordered the NY Strip and said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had. Not only was the food delicious, the attention to detail by our server was exceptional. He was very attentive to everything we needed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is both 5-star restaurant and festive especially in the piano bar (which shockingly could not be heard in the restaurant proper). We don’t live in Shreveport but, if/when we return, we would be delighted to dine there again. Highly recommended.

Superior's Steakhouse is advertised as a high-end restaurant. While the steaks and other food were fine, and the waiter was as good as expected, the ambiance was disappointing. Why in the world would a fine dining restaurant have televisions in the four corners of every dining room? It really took away from the ambiance. If you must have televisions in the restaurant at all, they should be confined to the room where the main bar is. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. Ordered a prime NY strip and I was served something that was round in shape. After cutting through the center to check the temp, it had a large pocket of fat in the center. I questioned if I had received the right steak but was assured it was a NY strip. After two bites of fat & gristle, I asked to send it back and the manager came to our table. He was trying to tell me that this was how a NY strip should be but I politely asked to get another steak. When my replacement steak arrived, the manager brough about 1/3 of a NY strip out and said that I had already eaten too much of the previous steak. I've probably sent about two steaks back in my entire life and this response was a complete 'screw you' from the manager to me. The manager was hostile, rude and it's really hard to believe that someone with that style could actually be running what I previously considered a nice restaurant. Will never be back and neither will the other couple we were dining with. Overall a horrible experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch out March 20, 2023. All of the wait staff was courteous and accommodating, from the greeter at the door, the hostess, the beverage server, the bread waiter, and our lunch waiter! We couldn’t have asked for better attention. All we’re friendly and respectful. Thank you for a great lunch date with my husband.

The service was good but when the mgr came by to say my 1st steak was burned, I appreciated that. My 2nd steak came out but was still “burned” on one side. I didn’t feel like fighting that fight, so I just made do. They were nice enough to offer complimentary dessert when the steak came out late, so I didn’t want to be “that customer.”

I've dined at Mortons (several times) Capital Grill (several times) and Del Friscos and I would say that Superior Steakhouse is right there in their league. Jesse was outstanding, and the food was as good as any high end dining establishment. Already made dinner reservations for our anniversary.

Our wait staff was excellent. Everything we had was delicious. The charbroiled oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had. This was the first time we had tried the dessert. The pecan pie i the best I have ever had and the bread pudding was great.

Had reservations, but was disappointed to find out Y’all were out of both steak options, the chicken, meatloaf, the stuffed shrimp, crab claws, and several other things. It’s a steakhouse and Valentine’s Day! How can you be out of steak at 2pm? It embarrassed me to find out that there was like only 4 options at the time to eat. So I am still a little upset but maybe I’ll give y’all another try in the future. One note prep better for a holiday with reservations out the wazoo. I manage restaurants that’s what I’ve done for over 20 years and I take pride in making sure my customers are happy and taken care of. So hope if I come back I have a better experience.

We have enjoyed dining at the Steakhouse many times over the years. We moved away and it was 3 years ago when we last ate there. Our experience on Friday was unremarkable and not memorable in a good way. The lobster bisque was cold and served without a spoon. The “specialty” grilled oysters were not enjoyable. I have always ordered soft shell crab and did so Friday night. The recipe has changed and they were awful. In short, except for ambiance, our experience was not good. The selections were overpriced and not what we have historically enjoyed. Sorry but true.
