With the virus out there and everyone so scared to go out, I’m happy to see superior Seafood open and people out eating.
Thanks for opening.
Very surreal to eat here with no crowds! Felt very safe- all staff in masks and the restaurant was very clean. Crawfish mac n cheese was delish. Froze was VERY good and not overly sweet. Hubby's steak was a bit overcooked, but still good. Our first restaurant experience in months and it was perfect!
Great daily happy hour with .75 cent oysters. Can’t beat it
Everything was a 10 when we dined and were served by Rebecca on Monday night. It was so good that we returned for the same meal and experience on Tuesday night. Sadly, the same meal was a 6 and so was the service.
We love Superior Seafood and eat there often for the oysters, atmosphere and service.
Everything was amazing! Always enjoy this place when we come into town.
Great food. Ridiculous noise level of music causes people to shout, raising decibel level more.
Food and service were bother great. It’s been years since I’ve been there, so I’m disappointed they no longer had seafood gumbo. I absolutely loved it the last time I was there.
Best food & service. Can be a bit loud, but who cares with food like this!!
Had a great experience. Food and service was excellent
Whenever we visit New Orleans (about six times per year), we always dine at Superior Seafood. This time I made my reservation on line for the first time, and it was so easy. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated almost right away. We had a very nice table for two. Our waitress did a good job. She was patient and professional. My amaretto sour was the best I've ever tasted. My husband had the blackened trout and mach choux (I'm sure I've spelled that incorrectly). Both were fantastic. I had the tuna salad, which was not very exceptional. Too little avocado, too little mango, tasteless tuna, and so little dressing that I almost could not be sure it had dressing on it. Anyway, we will be back because I love the place.
We were celebrating my oldest son's birthday. We were sat in one of the patios. Our server was excellent. He was attentive and had great personality. The food was okay. My son's burger was charred and shrimp and grits were almost nonexistent. The chargrilled oysters lacked flavor. For the price, I expected more. The atmosphere and location are awesome, but I probably wouldn't eat here again.
First time there for brunch and it was so good. The amount of food and the flavor was more than expected. The price was great as well. Hope to get back and enjoy again.
Food is exceptional. Wine and drink selection is very good.
Great atmosphere. A bit loud, so if that’s a consideration, I would recommend going at non-peak hours.
We had a great time.
Good food, and we had a wonderful server! Valet service too!
Superior is usually our go to place when in town. Our last visit was a little disappointing when we walked in the door, and the usual Friday pianist (Phillip) was not there. The service was good, but the food was very salty... close to sending it back. Portions were smaller and prices increased... I’m okay with one or the other, but not both. Noise level was more than I’ve ever heard before. I may need to go back to Commander’s Palace. Change my mind please.
Great family dinner.
Fantastic food, great service, fantastic food!!
We tried different foods among the 6 of us, and tasted each other's dishes - everything was great- shrimp, trout, redfish, oysters, etouffee!
My favorite place! Easy parking (or valet, if you desire), quick service, great atmosphere, good food! This time it was SUNDAY BRUNCH😉 Neighborhood, not “touristy”.
Great food and service, but very loud and it didn't help that we had folks on both sides of us that were really loud and frankly, pretty inconsiderate!
Fabulous ice cold oysters! We loved it!
Solid food and service. Carrot cake is excellent.
Can get a bit loud. Tables in the side room are better than the main dining room for conversation
I come here a lot it’s one of my favorite places, though the service good you could tell they were short staffed. There was just a disconnect with server assistant.
Loved the food, especially the redfish and the raw oysters. Service was good--the staff was attentive to our needs. Will definitely visit again.
Oyster bar is my favorite! I go multiple times when in New Orleans.
Very nice! It was Ash Wednesday, a busy day in NOLA, we had great service, great food, great atmosphere.. we’ll be back!
We had two appetizers- fried green tomatoes and crawfish cornbread- absolutely delicious. Entree was blackened catfish with crawfish on top- also amazing. Desserts were carrot cake and creme brûlée- both ok but not great. Service was very good- quick and attentive. Would definitely eat there again
Great food, great service , excellent meal! I would definitely eat there again.
We love Superior Seafood— great food and drinks!!!
Delicious food & drinks, friendly service, and they held our table for 12 until everyone arrived! Thank you!
Enjoyable food and spirits.
This is a restaurant that provides a gastronomic experience that is remembered.
All the food we ordered (a party of three) was sublime and the service was friendly and efficient.
It is a pity that Michlin does not rate restaurants in NOLA: Superior Seafood most definitely deserves a star or two.
This was our first time at Superior Seafood and I can’t wait to go back.
